For a small community, this organization is first rate. My dad was in their care for several years for multiple reasons but the care was always the best that I have seen. I worked in health care for over 25 years north of Seattle and no group of home care providers that I knew was any better.
The nurses and therapists go out of their way to care for patients and help to improve lives. We are very grateful for their care.

Innercept is dedicated to provide treatment for individuals with a mental health diagnosis. The compa | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Well, I’m a special teacher in the morning for College and A licensed marriage family, and therapist at night for myself. Let me tell you this is the most amazing place. This place let me sleep at night. I could sleep at night because the care at this facility was above and beyond. My child carries many diagnosis. She was adopted at birth and has been through trauma in utero exposure, and her birth parents had mental illness. This place had amazing staff and protocol for a gentle way to help a young teenagers self regulate. We were able to receive trauma counseling, individual counseling family therapy, and my child’s medication’s were finally working for her thanks to this place and the changes they made. Her therapist was so experienced and on target and helped not only my child heal, but the continuation of our family healing as we had a crime in our house by a trusted neighbor of five years. Little by little self harm stopped or reduced little little hospitalizations reduced and got father apart. They help my child go to school for three hours a day on site. my child enjoyed the cows across the street. They went above and beyond for my child 16th birthday. Not only is this place, professional detailed and oriented towards child centered complex cases. The staff have a heart and give more than 100%. Our school district had to work with them even though they’re not California approved. I was very worried and asked for three parent recommendations before I even placed my child in this program. As you know, if you’re reading this review, you’re making one of life’s hardest decisions and one that you never wanted to make. All the best - I am glad there are programs like this, and I hope they stay in business forever. One satisfied, grateful parent who was in tears when my child was ready to move to the next level due to progress-scared that the next program may not match the quality of this program. Warm wishes on your journey as a parent in this hard process

When you only have one option for your child the level of trust, you have to have in a program (2000 plus miles away)like this is extremely nerve-racking.
And no, it doesn’t stop.
But it does diminish when you feel you are in the right place.
No program is perfect.
But these people seem to really care about the child.
Have no illusions that there will be peaks and valleys with your child.
But I have the trust that Innercept always has a child and the family‘s best interest to resurrect any issue.
Innercept tries to attack the root cause before the issue, not the issue after the fact.
Beautiful location, lots and lots of prairie dogs, and a very solid program.

So I didn’t realize how much this program would help until I began to actually implement the behaviors. It wasn’t easy but you can change too. The reason I was admitted was able to be changed. Years then to now their therapy still enables me to communicate confidently. These people really know how to implement change for yourself to have the rest of your life to live.

Hi! I was a person in treatment at this hell hole. Hopefully you think twice before sending your kid here.
Complaints:
-They lock you in the basement if you act up (it's called stabilization)
-They never had food (Frequently I would have a pita with peanut butter as my only meal)
-Staff turnover rates are insane. (I was there for 2 months and there were only about 3 staff that stayed constant)
-They keep you for years (the longest I knew of was 3 years)
-"They have a raging hard on for taking away your rights as a parent" (my mothers words not my own)
Honestly if I could give less than one star I would

What sets Sequoia apart is its fierce dedication to rebuilding lives, not just detoxing bodies. The program didn’t stop at flushing the drugs out; it dug deep into the why behind my addiction. Group therapy sessions were raw and real—strangers became lifelines as we shared our stories, failures, and fragile dreams of sobriety. The counselors were warriors, armed with expertise and empathy, tailoring treatment to fit my messy reality instead of some cookie-cutter plan. By the time I left, I wasn’t just clean; I was armed with tools to fight for myself. Sequoia didn’t just save me—it reignited a fire I thought addiction had snuffed out forever. I consider myself very lucky to have ended up in her office for my assessment. (I truly believe it was not “by chance” and was no “accident”).
I say that because, in my experience, my success relied primarily on my ability to connect with my treatment provider. It played an essential part of my willingness to see things through and to fully open up. I needed to feel I was in a safe space. With someone who I could trust. Someone who I believed had my best interests in mind. Someone I felt had a genuine desire to aid in my recovery.
I proudly admit that she checked each and every one of those boxes. I had an instant connection with her and feel it remained that way, consistently, throughout the entirety of my treatment.
I owe her a giant “thank you” for her constant kindness, for her unique approach, and for her continued wisdom and encouragement.
She is an incredible asset to this field and the way that she genuinely care for those still suffering is inspiring and remarkably beautiful.

I really enjoyed my treatment here! My counselor Dustin King is awesome. I can tell he genuinely cares for his clients and helped me to become the best version of myself that I have been for a very long time. He takes time and actually listened to what I said and made me feel like a person with value and not just another client to get through the process. I feel like a better person than when I started. I learned so much from him- he is extremely knowledgeable about recovery and mental health and gave me resources and advice that was particular to me and what would work for me. Very good counselor!!!
Also wanted to mention Rylie, he was my weekly group leader. He is awesome too. Very smart and attentively listened to everyone in group and even when I didn’t understand what the person was saying, he did! And always had a comment to respond in wisdom and guidance and also appreciates everyone’s input. I learned a ton from group! Rylie is very kind and patient with people as well.
Any ways I just had to leave a review because I read reviews and this place deserves 5 stars. I’m really happy with my experience here!!!🙂

31733 South Fork Yaak Rd
Troy, MT 59935
| Troy, Montana is home to Turning Winds, a residential treatment facility for adolescents aged 13 to 18 with mental health and drug abuse issues. Surrounded by magnificent mountains and an abundance of natural beauty, this facility is situated close to the banks of the South Fork Yaak River. A psychiatrist, certified teachers, and licensed clinician | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am writing this review to help to encourage any parents who are experiencing serious challenges/concerns with their son or daughter to give Turning Winds their full consideration. Like many of you who are exploring, we found an overwhelming amount of negativity out there surrounding programs like TW or others who may be similar. Fortunately we took the time to dive deeper, beyond the exaggerations, and both misleading and completely false narratives that have been created by individuals with some agenda that I cannot fathom. Instead we chose to weed through the garbage and looked at the positive reviews from the actual parents of kids that Turning Winds has helped. It was not a decision that we took lightly, nor one that we regret. It was the hardest decision we ever had to make, but one that has made all the difference for our son and family.
As parents of a son was going down a very dark and destructive path, and one in which we were extremely concerned for our son's life; we can truly say that TW helped to save our son from a path that very likely would have ended up in death, serious legal consequences, or a broken family. It was scary as hell to put our trust in strangers and drop our son off in the middle of nowhere, thousands of miles from home. But now that he is back at home and doing so incredibly well, we can truly say it was the best decision either of us have ever made. We believe Turning Winds helped to save our son's life.
For the kids, it's tough work. And it's hard work for you parents. It's not a summer camp or a country club like so many of the other options we had reviewed. Rules are made, kept, and consequences delivered. They are taught to be responsible to themselves, but also to those around them. They are also built up, learn to believe in themselves, and are given all of the tools to grow into young adulthood in a safe and caring way. Our son will be a healthier, better, stronger man for having this experience.
We cannot say enough about the staff. They truly care. In many ways, they have become family and despite our son being back at home after many long months, there is regular communication and continued work...for our son and us, the parents. We dropped off a sixteen year old, whose behaviors and emotional condition were those of an 8 or 9 year old. Coming home, we felt we picked up a 16 year old who is far beyond his years from an emotional maturity standpoint and one who practices a healthy lifestyle physically, mentally, and spiritually.
In addition, the support system that we now have as a family and/or as individuals is really impressive. The staff is there for us and there are parent groups that exist while your child is in Turning Winds and after they graduate from the program. We join calls bi-weekly with parents who are just beginning their journey and others whose child is 5+ years removed. All with the intent of helping each other to get through those difficult times, to provide helpful advice and support when you need it, all sharing the common connection of individuals who at some point almost lost hope that we had lost our child forever, but now have hope and promise for a great future.
If you are at that crossroads and you just don't know what to do and what to believe, ask the TW staff if they can make a connection. We are more than happy to share our experience. We honestly don't know where we would be at this point had we not put our faith in the team at Turning Winds.

It was extremely difficult to make an apt to be seen. I called many times and each time I was told that someone would call me back. It took weeks for this to happen.
But I was seen here today and found the nurse and doctor to be very pleasant. So I'm changing this from a poor review (where I complained about phone service) to this favorable review. I really appreciated everyone I encountered in this office. The nurse and doctor were warm, caring and excellent listeners. I really appreciated the service that I received. The nurse was a warm as any I've ever seen. It's obvious that she cares a great deal for her patient!

There was also many activities : Horse back riding, Rock climbing, Boxing, Gym, Dance classes, Yoga, laser tag, pool party, looking at puppies Etc. The Food was Great & always gave us snacks. They gave us Bath and Both works & Makeup palletes every weekend. It was a great rehab & it helped me out a lot is what I can say. I seen some review of people who I went to the facility with and I can say That what she said isn't even close to True & She was In the just To start Problems (She was a Karen) . If you don't want to be in a rehab or need to be in one in general don't be in there just to Start Problems because there's people who do want the help & this place will help you so I definitely recommend it. If you say this place is bad , clearly you've never been to Foster Care cause this place Was Great. Idk How it is Now But my Experience there was Amazing.
