It was extremely difficult to make an apt to be seen. I called many times and each time I was told that someone would call me back. It took weeks for this to happen. But I was seen here today and found the nurse and doctor to be very pleasant. So I'm changing this from a poor review (where I complained about phone service) to this favorable review. I really appreciated everyone I encountered in this office. The nurse and doctor were warm, caring and excellent listeners. I really appreciated the service that I received. The nurse was a warm as any I've ever seen. It's obvious that she cares a great deal for her patient! But making that appointment was EXTREMELY difficult. I called many times and many times I was promised that someone would call me back, but it took weeks for this to actually happen.

I went back in 2011~ish as a kid I remember Rodney, Alex (who was a big part on how I changed and became who I am today wish I could thank him personally if anyone knows his name LMK!) I remember Josh, Gabe, Bob, carry, and WILL! those are the people I remember, I was in the child house across from the main road/playground I hope that someone remembers Alex because I used to not be able to read properly and was always in behaviors he would sit with me and read his college books to me and help me calm down and de-escalate. I was fr a problem kid. But I 🙏 someone remembers this era and can possibly help me find Alex! So I can thank him personally for the development in my childhood 🙏 Edit: I found the picture I got on I think it was Brian's motorcycle after I left! He used a Polaroid camera pretty sick

I was here from 2002-2004, I remember Winnie, Martin, and my advocate her name was Ginny, I also remember Linda the counselor. I think the part I liked most here was the swimming pool and the wood shop, I made alot of cool things in shop class. I returned home in January of 2004, met my husband at the age of 18 in December of 2004, and we were married march 15th 2005, still going strong. The only thing this place taught me was how to fear men. I used to call every so often and check in with Winnie and Linda to let them know how I was doing. Well at 38 years old, 20 years of marriage, and 7 kids later, I'd say I'm doing pretty damn good, no thanks to NCH and the staff that only showed up to get a paycheck.

I lived here 33 years ago and coming here brought me back to some of the best days of my life. I owe them so much for being my support system. It brought back so many memories. I was there 86-88 looking. For others who lived there then

If your looking for kind, calm, compassionate couseling where there's a relaxing, peaceful place to talk. I would highly recommend this couseling center. We have had 2 family members go there.

She was my counselor as a kid and was amazing

Kay is the absolute best counselor I have ever had. She has helped we work through many of my life issues and has done far more than her job requires. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

While I have had some less than ideal experiences with trying to get mental health services here, most of my interactions with CHD have been with the lovely people who do their public health/immunization services. I've been working through a needle phobia and the nicest people I've ever gotten shots from are here! Very kind, patient, and non-judgemental. I would recommend that people of any age who are bad with needles go here for their vaccinations.

I've never been sold bad drugs and then thrown under the bus quite like by CHD. pretty good for psychiatry in this valley

Well, I’m a special teacher in the morning for College and A licensed marriage family, and therapist at night for myself. Let me tell you this is the most amazing place. This place let me sleep at night. I could sleep at night because the care at this facility was above and beyond. My child carries many diagnosis. She was adopted at birth and has been through trauma in utero exposure, and her birth parents had mental illness. This place had amazing staff and protocol for a gentle way to help a young teenagers self regulate. We were able to receive trauma counseling, individual counseling family therapy, and my child’s medication’s were finally working for her thanks to this place and the changes they made. Her therapist was so experienced and on target and helped not only my child heal, but the continuation of our family healing as we had a crime in our house by a trusted neighbor of five years. Little by little self harm stopped or reduced little little hospitalizations reduced and got father apart. They help my child go to school for three hours a day on site. my child enjoyed the cows across the street. They went above and beyond for my child 16th birthday. Not only is this place, professional detailed and oriented towards child centered complex cases. The staff have a heart and give more than 100%. Our school district had to work with them even though they’re not California approved. I was very worried and asked for three parent recommendations before I even placed my child in this program. As you know, if you’re reading this review, you’re making one of life’s hardest decisions and one that you never wanted to make. All the best - I am glad there are programs like this, and I hope they stay in business forever. One satisfied, grateful parent who was in tears when my child was ready to move to the next level due to progress-scared that the next program may not match the quality of this program. This physical therapist was recommended by the best Orthopedic surgeon in the area. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and several other complicating circumstances. I needed a total knee replacement that was not expected to go as well as it did. My knee has done VERY well due to the treatment I received during physical therapy. I am now looking forward to my second knee replacement next month with equally promising results. I have been to physical therapy at other practices and I found Rathdrum Physical Therapy to be very great to work with. The receptionist is always friendly and the experience is very personal because the practice is not a mill of people lined up for treatment. It is a relaxing experience and not stressful like other practices I have seen. I highly recommend Christopher Garrett in Rathdrum.

The support and fellowship here is so great I absolutely love it. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to surround myself with.

Lisa has worked so hard for this community to support Recovery, Thank, Lisa has created a safe environment. Also the center is getting support groups and class, both are needed for recovery.

What Passages did for me was showing me the path step by step to recovery. That was exactly what I needed, they taught me the basic stuff and also the most complex one and now here I am completely recovered.

I've known one of the owners for almost 40 years. It is difficult to put into words the dedication and professionalism that he exhibits in relation to his work--I have seen him take work-related phone calls while standing in the middle of a river on fishing trips. He would never, under any circumstances, associate with a program that had questionable motives or outcomes. And his partner is equally dedicated to serving the students they mentor. My friendship with him has been shorter but it became immediately clear upon meeting him that his whole focus in life is to be a strong husband and father to his immediate family and to be a mentor for troubled youth. You couldn't find a stronger, more dedicated team to serve the needs of these young people that they help.
