Ita a nice property and the staff are amazing Derek Hansen 6 months ago It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I don't recommend Chatham or w.e their sober living is called. Otherwise their rehab, 10/10 all around amazing! Highly recommend. Just follow the rules. I know its easier said than done. He was fine besides that, though. Love the techs and nurses and staff. I also thought it strange that they didn’t let people change therapists when they asked to. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. The staff here actually paid out of their own pockets to get my wife her medication each day until her insurance came thru. A entire week stabilizing her dose and by that time she was no longer using. She was able to focus on living and be excited to wake up each day. It helped bring her back down to earth and gave her and me our hope and positive outlook on our lives. We're so grateful for this place and others like it. Alli it's been one of the best therapist I have gone to. She always tells you what you need to hear not like others that say what you want to hear. She's kind and listens to you and at the end of the sessions she always makes sure you leave with a goal in mind. I don't really understand or support any negative comments that I have read here towards her cause my experience it's been completely the opposite.

Clear Recovery absolutely saved my life. Its not very often you find a rehab that actually cares about the clients and is not just a money grubbin farce. Jay and the crew always made sure I had everything I needed, support, and tools to use in the outside world to help me navigate my recovery. I struggled with alcohol abuse for 15 years thinking I could somehow beat it myself if I tried. And while that may be true for some, it certainly wasn't the case for me. I checked into Clear in April and graduated from inpatient treatment after 60 days fully equipped with the knowledge and experience and life lessons needed to get sober and stay sober. Jay pours his entire heart and soul into helping people through their recovery and I, as well as many others, are so immensely grateful. I am 80 days sober today for the first time in 10 years and still going strong. If you're looking for an all-accepting, judgement-free, structured and safe place to recover and learn how to express your authentic clean self and fight the tragic disease of addiction, Clear Recovery is the place to go. 100%. Only place in town or even in Utah I would ever recommend! I was at my lowest point in my life and reached out to Jay. Scared embarrassed and didn’t know what else to do! He took me in immediately and it’s now been over 6 months of care and this has been the best I’ve ever felt in my life! I’ve learned so much from clear recovery and I’ve learned so much about myself! It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

First step gave me my sobriety and I cannot put a price on that. I am at the 411 house... One month left to go. I cannot stress enough how much life has changed. I am now clean and free from addiction. They set you up with dental assistance, an optometrist, as well as safe housing transitions. Thank you to the staff!!! I had the best experience here. I loved most of the staff! It had a very homey vibe. They treated me like I was family. Its hard to get sober as it is and the hospitality they showed me was impeccable. The nurses were very kind and took care of me better than the nurses in the hospitals ever did. Very nurturing. I cant say the same for the after care though...it wasn't horrible, but my experience just wasn't great. I could care less about the staff there as well. I don't recommend Chatham or w.e their sober living is called. Otherwise their rehab, 10/10 all around amazing! Highly recommend. Just follow the rules. I know its easier said than done. Getting sober feels like freedom you haven't felt and you almost feel like a kid again. Take advantage of your stay here. Its a great program.

My overall experience at Brighton was amazing, I'm so deeply grateful for everyone at the South Ogden location. The staff and residents have cultivated an environment that truly supports growth and I left feeling deeply fulfilled. I went in with the mindset "I have to get sober" and left with "I get to be sober." They showed me life can be enjoyed, just just endured. Not white knuckling my way every second of my life. For anyone considering this step, you truly get out what you put in. If you come in surrendered, open, and willing to accept the process, the reward is life changing, I promise with all my heart. Taking that step requires immense vulnerability, but at Brighton, that vulnerability is matched by a team that genuinely cares. The head nurse, Siobhan, was a true blessing, my therapist Shawn was amazing, and the technician staff were all fantastic. It is so important to be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work, and that is exactly what I felt every day. I really appreciated the balanced program they offer combining deep group therapy and individual one-on-one sessions with holistic activities like spirituality, exercise, art, and outdoor time. While there were a few days where communication felt a little disconnected, the team overall stayed completely on top of the program and delivered a remarkably strong experience. I’m sharing this because deciding to enter recovery can be terrifying. I hope my experience can be a beacon of hope for someone else standing on the edge of that choice... Take the leap. You will be supported here!!💛

I had a pretty tame experience here except for when my therapist Weston suggested that me being SAed was a propelling factor to me being transgender even though I already told him I was out of the closet before that happened. He was fine besides that, though. Love the techs and nurses and staff. I also thought it strange that they didn’t let people change therapists when they asked to. But yeah it was clean and there was a lot to do and I really liked having a radio.

The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling.

This is my second go round… been goin to for like 6 months maybe a lil longer.. this place is far from perfect.. but just like everywhere else ur experience is what u make of it! Sure its ghetto… n seems that everyone that goes or well 90% of the clients clearly still use… but if u pay to much attention to those details rather than the real reason ur goin there ( your self) then u have already lost the fight.. stop taking so much time worrying about everyone else and focus on u and why u r getting help! Recommend to anyone that isn’t worried about sitting back and judging everyone else and just worry about their own needs!

I found my wife dead overdosed In Her bedroom, was able to bring her back and brought her to this clinic. We had no insurance, no money, and no resources. The staff here actually paid out of their own pockets to get my wife her medication each day until her insurance came thru. A entire week stabilizing her dose and by that time she was no longer using. She was able to focus on living and be excited to wake up each day. It helped bring her back down to earth and gave her and me our hope and positive outlook on our lives. We're so grateful for this place and others like it. It may not be for everyone but It helped save our lives Thank you.

Not my first rodeo. I have been through a few rehabilitation programs with several local treatment centers in Salt Lake City. Recovery Ways at Brunswick was equipped with staff that has experience and multiple tools to assist in the recovery process. The step down progression and support is second to none. I have memories and friends from my short time that I will carry for a lifetime. I am sober today in part because of the staff and resources I was gifted on my day of surrender. Highly recommended and even though the commitment seems daunting, the experience will enhance your life skills and provide ample suggestions to assist in a fight for life outside addiction.
