Everyone is great! Horrible with prescriptions and refills, even when you have some and all they have to do is call the pharmacy... NOPE! I call early Friday about my meds and hear nothing, come to find out that they are gone for the weekend 😆🤣😂. One hell of a "Behavioral Health" place right? Haha 🤣, so thanks to them this weekend will be full of fun treats... I will be switching providers very shortly, I can guarantee that! 🤬😤

I usually have a great experience when going in for my appointment at Aloha Behavioral Consultants but today the receptionist was very short and rude towards me when asking her if she could check in with my doctor because I’d waited almost 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen which is unusual. Her tone really shifted my experience at my appointment today, hopefully she has a better day because her attitude wasn’t at all welcoming.

Brighton Recovery Center in South Ogden, Utah, is an addiction treatment facility that provides residential care for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. I recently completed my 45-day residential stay at Brighton, and it was truly a great learning experience. During my time there, I was able to better understand the mental health challenges I’ve been facing and develop healthier coping skills that I’ll carry with me moving forward. I’m incredibly grateful to all the staff at Brighton for their support and guidance throughout this journey. Huge thanks to the Life Techs— ❤️ Kellie, Dillion, Danielle, Joe, Hillary, Jeff, Cameron, and Paula—for the meaningful conversations and for keeping me engaged in all the activities. You all made the experience feel real and relatable. Steve thank you for being such a good role model, you are truly an inspiration ❤️ Thank you, Donny, for understanding the military mindset and for introducing me to the Monastery before I took the big step—it made a difference. Big shoutout to my case manager, Lewis. I know how much effort you put into planning our outings, and I truly appreciated the thought and coordination you gave—especially with Fit to Recovery. Dr. Weston, thank you for helping me understand my diagnosis and for providing the tools and guidelines to approach conflict in a healthier way. To the Med Techs—Stephanie, Lettie, Jennifer, and Shavon—thank you for your kindness and care during my stay. And finally, thank you to Mika, Thomas, and Kevin for the delicious meals. Your cooking brought comfort and a sense of home to every day. Brighton gave me a safe place to heal and grow, and I’m thankful for everyone who was a part of that.

My time with Brighton has been life changing to say the least. This was my second time going through a treatment center and the difference was night and day. This time around I was able to get down to some root causes and truly get an understanding of what is going on in my head. The path ahead is much clearer after doing the 45 days at the monastery ( which is a beautiful and awesome place that really allows you to disconnect and allows you a safe place to process and heal.) I learned that connection was huge to my recovery thanks to my therapist Ashley and the connections I made there were crucial and meaningful. I still have a group of friends that I made there, that we get together and do sober activities. I can thank the program for exposing me to a community of like minded people, who understand, including staff and therapist. When I first got there I couldn’t stop to think how did I let myself end up at this point, but the day I walked out of the monastery my attitude was a complete 180, I was grateful to have experienced that and enjoyed finding myself again. They really do set you up for success. In addition, I had the blessing of working with Mr. Donny Wheat, who is the liaison for military clients. I can’t stress enough how beneficial it was having Mr. Wheat advocate for me, and provide a transparent communication with my unit of how treatment was going. It honestly gave my unit more of an understanding and allowed them to trust the process and program that Brighton has. At the end of the day our employers want us back to work and healthy right? But having Mr. Wheat allowed the process to go at the right pace. At my previous treatment center there was no such person. All in all Brighton has provided for me a fresh start in every aspect. We all have flaws, but they don’t have to define us, my 45+ days ( now that I am at their sober living facility, which is equally great) has made me realize that my flaws can be used to better myself. As I am writing this I am working on close to 90 days sober and I have every intention to just keeping looking forward one day at time, and I can thank the folks at Brighton for that.

Had a great experience at Brighton! I stayed inpatient for 45 days at Ogden location aka the monastery. Super nice place, very clean, great food, awesome people. The classes were very informative. I also did their php and iop aftercare program which took 4 months to complete. They have a really nice community center with a gym, pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, and free lattes. I would highly recommend brighton to anybody.

I had bilateral knee X-rays done to confirm the current state of arthritis. The Imaging registration was quick and easy, I was *immediately* (NO WAITING!) called into the Xray Department. Ryan and Jessa were outstanding, they: - listened well, - were personable, - made me feel valued, - explained what they were doing, - how to stand and lay during the procedure. The Xray was read and the report (confirming that the issue was just arthritis and not something more urgent) was emailed to me within a couple hours even though it was late on a Friday afternoon before a 3-day holiday. Summary: "X-rays made easy."

I recently completed some counseling/training through Clinical Consultants. There are a few areas for improvement, like the internet seemed to be a constant problem at one of their locations. However, the counseling experience was really good for me. I had Britney for both individual and group sessions. Britney was great! She created a very comfortable atmosphere where everyone feels open to speak what is on their mind. She was very supportive of everyone's feelings yet could kindly call out concerns with how some people deal with conflict. I was clear that she cares about the individuals. The program covered some really good information. I would recommend learning the skills and tools they teach to everyone.

I was in Acqua October 2024 and the staff was amazing. They listened to what the clients had to say. The one thing Acqua offered that not a lot of the other places did is dual diagnosis. Not only do they treat addiction but the helped me get on meds that worked for me. I loved that I didnt get the 12 steps shoved down my throat. It has been 2 years since my time at The Phoenix. I can honestly say they saved my life. I didn’t know how they could possibly help me since I had already done some extreme treatments for my debilitating depression and SI. I started in residential and altogether spent about 5 months in their care. You’ll find Pathways Real Life Recovery less than 30 minutes from Salt Lake City, in Sandy, Utah. Since 2007 this private treatment center has provided comprehensive care for adults and teens battling mental health conditions, substance abuse and other addictions. You can access a full continuum of care through their organization, including detox
The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life. They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities. Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support. Pathways has LITERALLY saved my life. They have helped me find healing, and open doors to change my life. They have equipped me with the confidence, strength, tools, and understanding of my root influences to my recovery needs to live a new life, my best life! A life of healing and happiness I have never experienced before. I will be in eternal gratitude for this very sacred organization. Schedule a consult... you have nothing to lose and only a healthy and happy life to gain. You are not alone. There IS hope!

I went to Brunswick exhausted, malnourished, and on the brink of a nervous breakdown. My marriage was ending because of Infedelity and I started drinking heavily. They made me feel safe, gave me a place to improve my health, Therapist that I could talk with and taught me skills to use when I was feeling overwhelmed in life. Eliminating using a drug just to feel better. I highly recommend them if you need to get your brain clear, calm and ready to change your world around you!!!

My nephew came to Recovery Ways and it was the first program that really worked for him, after two years of trying four other programs. He came out of this program a different, new person, his best self. What made RW different? The type of program-- 1) Intensive therapy and classes with real learning, my nephew is super smart so he's hard to impress, he criticizes everything, but he was quoting the lesson & tools he learned here. 2) The staff was always present, available, created a strong sense of support along with the peer support group which was healing for my nephew, he finally felt he belonged somewhere. 3) Pragmatic, realistic program located in the city with daily visits to sites, bookstore, gym, aquarium. Patients learn sobriety in the midst of real life and daily activity in town, rather than being isolated then return to real life, they're accustomed to living sober. 4) Focus on mental health at Copper Hills was exactly what my nephew needed. They gave him exactly the tools that worked for him. 5) RW is unique, it includes both RT residential therapy and PHP partial hospitalization, all in patient, and covered by insurance, so no rent, you get room and food. So it's a 2 month min. program or longer. 6) Staff is amazing, very competent, on top of details, needs, circumstances, concerns. Matt and John were a godsend, every day, they went the extra mile, counselled with me on all needs, gave excellent advice and referrals to help me solve all my nephew's needs and navigate insurance, then transfer to sober living. I can't praise RW enough, I thank God we found this place, I doubt any other place would have done what RW did for my nephew. It gave him a new self and life.
