Alli it's been one of the best therapist I have gone to. She always tells you what you need to hear not like others that say what you want to hear. She's kind and listens to you and at the end of the sessions she always makes sure you leave with a goal in mind. I don't really understand or support any negative comments that I have read here towards her cause my experience it's been completely the opposite.

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

We recently had the opportunity to work alongside Spirit Mountain Recovery | Men's Addiction Treatment, installing a wall charger at their facility. Although we haven't personally utilized their recovery services, our interactions with Matthew and the team left a significant impression. Spirit Mountain Recovery was nothing short of a life saver for me. Before arriving, I was the kind of guy who thought he knew everything, no one could tell me anything new or how I needed to live my life. But this place gently but powerfully shifted that mindset. Through their guidance, I’ve moved from someone stuck in his ways to someone who is open, growing, and learning every single day.
My experience at Spirit Mountain was fresh and a transformation. It wasn’t just another treatment program for me, it was a complete reset for my life. The environment, the staff, and the support system created a space where I could dig deep, challenge old beliefs, and start building a better version of myself.
Most importantly, Spirit Mountain didn’t just give me the tools for sobriety, they gave me tools to grow as a man and to deepen my spiritual life. The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling.

I recently completed my 45-day residential stay at Brighton, and it was truly a great learning experience. During my time there, I was able to better understand the mental health challenges I’ve been facing and develop healthier coping skills that I’ll carry with me moving forward. I’m incredibly grateful to all the staff at Brighton for their support and guidance throughout this journey.

My time with Brighton has been life changing to say the least. This was my second time going through a treatment center and the difference was night and day. This time around I was able to get down to some root causes and truly get an understanding of what is going on in my head. The path ahead is much clearer after doing the 45 days at the monastery ( which is a beautiful and awesome place that really allows you to disconnect and allows you a safe place to process and heal.) I learned that connection was huge to my recovery thanks to my therapist Ashley and the connections I made there were crucial and meaningful. I still have a group of friends that I made there, that we get together and do sober activities. I can thank the program for exposing me to a community of like minded people, who understand, including staff and therapist. When I first got there I couldn’t stop to think how did I let myself end up at this point, but the day I walked out of the monastery my attitude was a complete 180, I was grateful to have experienced that and enjoyed finding myself again. They really do set you up for success. In addition, I had the blessing of working with Mr. Donny Wheat, who is the liaison for military clients. I can’t stress enough how beneficial it was having Mr. Wheat advocate for me, and provide a transparent communication with my unit of how treatment was going. It honestly gave my unit more of an understanding and allowed them to trust the process and program that Brighton has. At the end of the day our employers want us back to work and healthy right? But having Mr. Wheat allowed the process to go at the right pace. At my previous treatment center there was no such person. All in all Brighton has provided for me a fresh start in every aspect. We all have flaws, but they don’t have to define us, my 45+ days ( now that I am at their sober living facility, which is equally great) has made me realize that my flaws can be used to better myself. As I am writing this I am working on close to 90 days sober and I have every intention to just keeping looking forward one day at time, and I can thank the folks at Brighton for that.

Just rocked out of Diamond Recovery Centers. Kylee is the greatest Alumni program director. If your fighting your addiction and If your looking for a place for treatment this is the place to be. Detox first, then get ready for one of the most homelike healing experiences. I came here after detox with a willing spirit and an open mind. That is the requirement, in my opinion to complete successfully. Three gourmet meals a day adds to the most relaxing rehab I have ever been too. The staff actually give a damn here and make it their mission to make sure you get to where you need to be afterwards. I am most grateful to get a chance to be a better me. Diamond staff assisted me with that and helped me see my worth and clearly build a path toward success.

I graduated from Action in September of 2022 and I will be coming up on 4 years sober. Action literally helped save my life. There weren’t a lot of options for a good aftercare program in the Northern Utah area after I got out of rehab and luckily my rehab recommended Action. They are kind and patient yet most importantly they hold you accountable. If others don’t hold you accountable when it comes to your addiction, it is super hard to stay clean and sober. Action is a 12 step program and I know that might not be for some, but don’t let that scare you. You learn so much more than the steps and take things away from the program that you will continue to use as I have to help keep my sobriety. They also have wonderful classes to help family and friends that are affected by their love ones’ addictions. My parents loved going to family group night and it helped them understand more on why I had an addiction problem which made them more effective tools in my recovery. Remember one day at a time, never quit quitting, you are worth it so work it and you are loved and seen. Want your life back? I highly recommend going to Action.

I gave Action Recovery a five star review. The program has helped me to stay sober with the tools that they have taught me and classes that they provide. The staff is very caring and understanding and very knowledgeable about addiction, this program for addiction is more like a family. It’s amazing how the clients care for each other. i’m retired and I love how they’ve been flexible and understanding about my vacation requests and my family time with my grandkids and their sports activities. Their weekly meetings for NA and AA are wonderful they allow you to be open and there is no judgment. I highly recommend this treatment program.

Aloha is such a great clinic. The therapists, Medical Assistants , Front desk and Billing are all so awesome. They answer all my questions and make me feel safe/happy when going into the office. The staff truly cares about their jobs and it shows in how they interact with me and others. They are frequently busy, but I never feel rushed or neglected. The staff always takes care of me, and I am so thankful!

I can’t give this clinic enough stars. My family has been through a lot of trauma and we have been using them for all of our mental health needs and they are always kind, caring and extremely efficient. I don’t feel the need to OVERLY advocate for myself like I do with every other therapist/healthcare provider(s) because they will already be making sure to take that initiative to ask you if you need anything! We specifically love Hilary, Lura, Krista, Mariah, Michelle, EJ, Britney and Angie (essentially the entire team here). I will never go anywhere else!

My present Therapist and also my Doctor here are great. I am very picky about my choices concerning my healthcare, and Brian is very good to listen to what's being said, whether by voice, tone, facial or body language, and assisting me in clarifying and working towards my goals.
Dr Shank has throughout the years always been very respectful and truly listened to what I am sharing with her, and helping me find the right treatments for my needs and goals.

I'm with a new therapist since my last review, Brent has been great! He's very detailed, patient, non judgemental, and listens very well. He puts in a lot of effort to help me work towards my personal goals which is great. I still am able to vent, which is actually necessary for me to work towards my goals as I have a lot of issues that I struggle to understand and I am hoping to make progress in order to understand where my faults lay.

I've had mixed experiences I absolutely value and respect every therapist I've been in contact with for family therapy. They have been a staple in my life to help keep it all together while I feel everything has been falling apart. There is only so much a therapist can do but when they help you really get your life back together through extremely hard times some people have gone above and beyond heling me navigate a system that gave me failure after failure and I think that is something to say about their Employment and Education counseling.

So I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back.
There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I have developed an intense trust for all clinic employees, never did I think it possible but their techniques are working. Thank you all at Layton CTC

This is an amazing place, from the doctors to the nurses to the counselors. I have never been treated with more respect at any health care facility much less anything addiction related. This facility is amazing and life changing. I will note it took me going to the Brighton inpatient facility in south Ogden first and following up here to make a difference. My life has completely changed for the better. I had been seeking help for 3 years prior and nothing seemed to work. I was truly at a loss and this was a last ditch effort. I am thankful for Donny Wheat who was so quick to meet me same day I showed interest and had questions about the facility. He has been there every step of the way. I had not had to make any decisions alone nor was I left with any questions. You can tell how much he cares not just about his job but about each individual he comes into contact with. My therapist Becca has been the best therapist I have ever had. It took a few weeks to build a connection but now I feel like she SEES me. She understands me like no other therapist has. I have never felt emotional during a session and lately my sessions are healing parts of me I didn’t know were still unhealed. Amy is super wonderful and knowledgeable and she even runs the alumni group on thursdays. She will make a great SUDC one day! Thankful for this facility. I finally have hope for my future. Highly recommend.

Best program I’ve ever been a part of! They truly care about your recovery and mental health and help you to understand how they are interconnected and how to treat both. They’re not perfect but are always listening to feedback and making improvements. I can’t recommend their PHP and IOP programs enough! Shout out to Keenan who helped me tremendously and has inspired me to go into this field to help others.

I was very happy with the staff at Professional Services. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with my experience, and I also knew that I came to the right place, a place that offered classes/treatment that I had previously never been offered. There was an extremely helpful staff member. She helped me through the process and organized my schedule for me. Not only was she professional, but she was very relatable - I always felt comfortable with her efforts to help me on my journey to sobriety. I never felt judged in any way.
I appreciated the instructor Prime For Life classes - she was very helpful, and again, relatable to work with.
Another instructor had a great impact on me as well, instructing online classes each week. I learned so much about my addiction in a way I had never discovered before. The different phases of alcoholism were very understandable and easy for me to relate to. I was given hope that I now have the power to turn back, and to not lose the most important things in life!
