Ita a nice property and the staff are amazing Derek Hansen 7 months ago It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I really appreciated the balanced program they offer combining deep group therapy and individual one-on-one sessions with holistic activities like spirituality, exercise, art, and outdoor time. While there were a few days where communication felt a little disconnected, the team overall stayed completely on top of the program and delivered a remarkably strong experience. You will be supported here!!💛 Zach Tipiani 2 months ago I had a pretty tame experience here except for when my therapist Weston suggested that me being SAed was a propelling factor to me being transgender even though I already told him I was out of the closet before that happened. He was fine besides that, though. Love the techs and nurses and staff. I also thought it strange that they didn’t let people change therapists when they asked to. But yeah it was clean and there was a lot to do and I really liked having a radio. Dino Broadway 7 months ago The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. Shaun J 2 months ago This is a safe place to go for help. The counselors, nurses, reception, the doctor and even the other patients are wonderful. I've been coming here for over 6 months. I've been treated with respect and the supportive environment has been vital to my recovery. Everybody working there is there because they want to be. Because they genuinely care and want to help you. There's accountability when I need it without feeling judged. My counselor Caitlin is one of the best people I've ever met. Her warmth makes her easy to talk to. She's so smart and she's great at helping with addiction issues. Whether it's a quick hello or she's checking in with me to see how I'm doing. This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back. There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I was worried at first that this facility was just like any other rehabs. Just a common money grab, but to my surprise Pinnacle really wants the best for you. After coming from NextStep Detox, I was greeted by Anthony and Sean! They gave me a great orientation and the clients gave me a warm welcome! Becca and Sean over saw our programming and were very helpful with personal development and were very attentive regarding outside needs during treatment. If I needed to see my legal team or doctors, etc. Becca and Sean would take took time out of their schedule to assist me. The support staff are very friendly, they treated me like I was their best friend. If I got out of line the support staff would help correct me in a way that wasn’t punitive. Anthony and Brooke are both in recovery and so is most staff, they really cared about your sobriety, and will guide you through recovery. The food scene is amazing, nutritious and very healthy. Chef Ed is off the chart, a great chef. I’m not a salmon fan, but he made me a delicious meal to substitute for Salmon! Chef Ed picks fresh foods, so nothing is old or boring! The Interns, and therapists really want to see you be successful. My therapist Julie has gone above and beyond when it came to help my mental health. Her approach to mental health is really awe inspiring. I really appreciate Cassie, Cory and Londyn help as well! The activities are made to help you feel comfortable while working on yourself. Troy, MK, Sean and Becca have built a truly remarkable treatment facility. From Mental Health treatment, to the recreational activities, their passion to help clients are more than I expected. It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

My overall experience at Brighton was amazing, I'm so deeply grateful for everyone at the South Ogden location. The staff and residents have cultivated an environment that truly supports growth and I left feeling deeply fulfilled. I went in with the mindset "I have to get sober" and left with "I get to be sober." They showed me life can be enjoyed, just just endured. Not white knuckling my way every second of my life. For anyone considering this step, you truly get out what you put in. If you come in surrendered, open, and willing to accept the process, the reward is life changing, I promise with all my heart. Taking that step requires immense vulnerability, but at Brighton, that vulnerability is matched by a team that genuinely cares. The head nurse, Siobhan, was a true blessing, my therapist Shawn was amazing, and the technician staff were all fantastic. It is so important to be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work, and that is exactly what I felt every day. I really appreciated the balanced program they offer combining deep group therapy and individual one-on-one sessions with holistic activities like spirituality, exercise, art, and outdoor time. I had a pretty tame experience here except for when my therapist Weston suggested that me being SAed was a propelling factor to me being transgender even though I already told him I was out of the closet before that happened. He was fine besides that, though. Love the techs and nurses and staff. I also thought it strange that they didn’t let people change therapists when they asked to. But yeah it was clean and there was a lot to do and I really liked having a radio.

The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling.

UPDATE: unfortunately it's been a couple years and still on the methadone but that's because of other issues and my body needing long relief from pain, with that being said i just wanted to thank Mary and Dr Stephen for treating me as a patient and working outside of the addiction side of treatment and willing to work with the recommendations from my personal Dr's, i seriously can't express how compassionate you all have been and treat me with the upmost respect, anyone truly looking for the right place for help look no further CTC of Layton and all there people really do care. I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

This is a safe place to go for help. The counselors, nurses, reception, the doctor and even the other patients are wonderful. I've been coming here for over 6 months. I've been treated with respect and the supportive environment has been vital to my recovery. Everybody working there is there because they want to be. Because they genuinely care and want to help you. There's accountability when I need it without feeling judged. My counselor Caitlin is one of the best people I've ever met. Her warmth makes her easy to talk to. She's so smart and she's great at helping with addiction issues. Whether it's a quick hello or she's checking in with me to see how I'm doing. I always look forward to seeing her when I come in to dose.

This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back. There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. Not my choice to do the program, it was an inconvenience at first and I came in with a negative view about having to attend group. Cody was my assigned therapist and I absolutely love her, she helped me see things that I didn’t see before and helped me work through some of my struggles. She made our therapy sessions, supportive and it felt like I was speaking with a friend who actually cared. Cody is the type of person you want to hang out with because of the vibe she gives off, I learned so much from our therapy sessions and my view on the whole thing has changed and I feel like it was a good and needed experience after all. This review is for Britney Nilsen, my DV Therapist and Dawtae shaw my therapist! Britney is one of the kindest and most caring therapists I’ve ever met. She has an incredible ability to see things from a different perspective, which often helps me look at my own situations in a new and more positive light. Her approach to navigating and talking through difficult experiences is truly amazing. Britney’s personality is awesome - she’s completely down to earth, easy to talk to, and genuinely feels like someone you could call a friend. She’s soft and compassionate, yet still direct and to the point when it matters most. I always looked forward to my sessions with her each week. Dawntae Shaw is super nice down to earth and a very great listener. I felt she was kind but direct when needed and helped me open my eyes to see things from a different perspective. Dawntae knows my deepest hurts and truly was there for me through every tear shed during the most difficult time of my life. I owe her everything and then some! Thank you for helping me pick up the pieces of my brokenness and helping rebuild my strength through my darkest moments. You won't find a better place for your young bucks to learn proper lifting form, how to build healthy habits and improve their lives in many different aspects. They care deeply about your kid and encourage them to see their own potential and build a life around forming healthy habits, self esteem and coping mechanisms when life gets tough with all the problems teen's face daily. I highly recommend SOAR and can't say enough good things about Dustin, Autumn, Frank and all the staff.

Wow, what an amazing time I have had! Flying in from North Carolina, MK, Sean and Becca were really helpful and respectful of my needs for sobriety. MK, guided me through Admissions and played a key part during my time at Pinnacle. I was worried at first that this facility was just like any other rehabs. Just a common money grab, but to my surprise Pinnacle really wants the best for you. After coming from NextStep Detox, I was greeted by Anthony and Sean! They gave me a great orientation and the clients gave me a warm welcome! Becca and Sean over saw our programming and were very helpful with personal development and were very attentive regarding outside needs during treatment. If I needed to see my legal team or doctors, etc. Becca and Sean would take took time out of their schedule to assist me. The support staff are very friendly, they treated me like I was their best friend. If I got out of line the support staff would help correct me in a way that wasn’t punitive. Anthony and Brooke are both in recovery and so is most staff, they really cared about your sobriety, and will guide you through recovery. The food scene is amazing, nutritious and very healthy. Chef Ed is off the chart, a great chef. I’m not a salmon fan, but he made me a delicious meal to substitute for Salmon! Chef Ed picks fresh foods, so nothing is old or boring! The Interns, and therapists really want to see you be successful. My therapist Julie has gone above and beyond when it came to help my mental health. Her approach to mental health is really awe inspiring. I really appreciate Cassie, Cory and Londyn help as well! The activities are made to help you feel comfortable while working on yourself. Troy, MK, Sean and Becca have built a truly remarkable treatment facility. From Mental Health treatment, to the recreational activities, their passion to help clients are more than I expected. I’m forever grateful to the love and caring team members at Pinnacle for my journey through Sobriety. If you’re looking for mental health care, please reach out to Pinnacle. Pinnacle Recover is amazing. All of the staff go over the top to meet your expectations. The program gives you everything you need to achieve your goals and gives you all the tools you need to help you in recovery. The food is outstanding, Chef Ed is so compassionate about his cooking. I've never had a well balanced diet as good as it was at Pinnacle. The activities you get to enjoy are so much fun. Sober softball, hiking, bowling, batting cages, ice baths, open mic night are some of my favorites. The facility is more than adequate, its an amazing house that is filled with comfort. Overall, Pinnacle has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel as if my life is starting over and I get the opportunity to be happy again. Shout out to Katie my therapist for all the help and knowledge she has given me. I'm ready to go out into the world and face all the challenges it brings head on. Thank you Pinnacle!!
