Brighton does lean heavily into AA, which is definitely not for everyone (it never was for me), but I wouldn't change my experience for anything.

The facility is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, therapeutic environment where patients can focus on healing. Brighton Recovery offers a comprehensive, individualized approach that addresses addiction, trauma, and mental health rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Every aspect of the program is well planned, and the clinical staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in each person’s recovery. My overall experience at Brighton was amazing, I'm so deeply grateful for everyone at the South Ogden location. The staff and residents have cultivated an environment that truly supports growth and I left feeling deeply fulfilled. I went in with the mindset "I have to get sober" and left with "I get to be sober." They showed me life can be enjoyed, just just endured. Not white knuckling my way every second of my life. ​For anyone considering this step, you truly get out what you put in. If you come in surrendered, open, and willing to accept the process, the reward is life changing, I promise with all my heart. Taking that step requires immense vulnerability, but at Brighton, that vulnerability is matched by a team that genuinely cares. The head nurse, Siobhan, was a true blessing, my therapist Shawn was amazing, and the technician staff were all fantastic. It is so important to be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work, and that is exactly what I felt every day. ​I really appreciated the balanced program they offer combining deep group therapy and individual one-on-one sessions with holistic activities like spirituality, exercise, art, and outdoor time. While there were a few days where communication felt a little disconnected, the team overall stayed completely on top of the program and delivered a remarkably strong experience. ​I’m sharing this because deciding to enter recovery can be terrifying. I hope my experience can be a beacon of hope for someone else standing on the edge of that choice... Take the leap. You will be supported here!!💛

I have only been to rehab once, and I feel so lucky it was Diamond recovery. They made me feel loved and cared about the entire time, and even through outpatient treatment was treated as if part of a real family. Landon is a great case manager. Ashley, Kayla, and Dalton are very supportive counselors/therapists. I would not be sober today or have a safe place of my own to live in if it was not for my time at Diamond recovery.

UPDATE: unfortunately it's been a couple years and still on the methadone but that's because of other issues and my body needing long relief from pain, with that being said i just wanted to thank Mary and Dr Stephen for treating me as a patient and working outside of the addiction side of treatment and willing to work with the recommendations from my personal Dr's, i seriously can't express how compassionate you all have been and treat me with the upmost respect, anyone truly looking for the right place for help look no further CTC of Layton and all there people really do care. I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

This is a safe place to go for help. The counselors, nurses, reception, the doctor and even the other patients are wonderful. I've been coming here for over 6 months. I've been treated with respect and the supportive environment has been vital to my recovery. Everybody working there is there because they want to be. Because they genuinely care and want to help you. There's accountability when I need it without feeling judged. My counselor Caitlin is one of the best people I've ever met. Her warmth makes her easy to talk to. She's so smart and she's great at helping with addiction issues. Whether it's a quick hello or she's checking in with me to see how I'm doing. I always look forward to seeing her when I come in to dose.

Oh I absolutely love every single person at this facility!! I've been a Spravato patient for 3 years now and it's changed my life from being in the deepest darkest hole 🕳 I've ever been in, to a bright shining future with my bf and other family & friends and of course Loki our Lil dog 😊 I can't put it into words because of how amazing, non judgemental, caring, loving & the kindest nurses staff ever!! The Dr's treat you like you're a normal human being with respect and honesty. They're very knowledgeable about the medicines they prescribe if needed. I have been coming to DBH since I was just a young boy and I have loved every minute of it. The therapists and the councilors and staff are people that truly care for their clients and they are in more ways my family that I always needed. It is such a blessing to have them available for my recovery and to keep my mind in a sane place. I see this place at least 5 times a week and would recommend them to anyone. Even when I moved out of state I kept in touch a lot and the first thing I did when I got back was check in with them and they helped me get on my feet again. They reintroduced me to Journey House again and I have daily people and friends now that support every thing and every decision that I make. they help with home arrangements and therapeutic action. I needed to take a few days off during Covid 19 and they would bring me lunch. They were the shining star I was looking for and I came home to them and they welcomed me with open arms. This facility is amazing and life changing. I will note it took me going to the Brighton inpatient facility in south Ogden first and following up here to make a difference. My life has completely changed for the better. I had been seeking help for 3 years prior and nothing seemed to work. I was truly at a loss and this was a last ditch effort. I am thankful for Donny Wheat who was so quick to meet me same day I showed interest and had questions about the facility. He has been there every step of the way. I had not had to make any decisions alone nor was I left with any questions. You can tell how much he cares not just about his job but about each individual he comes into contact with. My therapist Becca has been the best therapist I have ever had. It took a few weeks to build a connection but now I feel like she SEES me. She understands me like no other therapist has. I have never felt emotional during a session and lately my sessions are healing parts of me I didn’t know were still unhealed. Amy is super wonderful and knowledgeable and she even runs the alumni group on thursdays. She will make a great SUDC one day! Thankful for this facility. I finally have hope for my future. Highly recommend.

Best program I’ve ever been a part of! They truly care about your recovery and mental health and help you to understand how they are interconnected and how to treat both. They’re not perfect but are always listening to feedback and making improvements. I can’t recommend their PHP and IOP programs enough! Shout out to Keenan who helped me tremendously and has inspired me to go into this field to help others.

I have a 4 star honest rating! No one is perfect especially in the recovery addiction business. But these guys actually care. They care about you your health. You deal with a counselor Kevin he’s a 5 star counselor! Definitely cares and knows a little about what he’s doing! Definitely a blessed man indeed! The doc doesn’t know a whole lot about addiction because he came from pediatrics so Kevin fills in well! If you’re struggling and need help go to this clinic? It’s more than worth it if you have Medicaid people! It’s free to those with Medicaid insurance! Why not better yourself and take the first step in recovery? I was very happy with the staff at Professional Services. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with my experience, and I also knew that I came to the right place, a place that offered classes/treatment that I had previously never been offered. There was an extremely helpful staff member. She helped me through the process and organized my schedule for me. Not only was she professional, but she was very relatable - I always felt comfortable with her efforts to help me on my journey to sobriety. I never felt judged in any way. I appreciated the instructor Prime For Life classes - she was very helpful, and again, relatable to work with. Another instructor had a great impact on me as well, instructing online classes each week. I learned so much about my addiction in a way I had never discovered before. The different phases of alcoholism were very understandable and easy for me to relate to. I was given hope that I now have the power to turn back, and to not lose the most important things in life!

Not my choice to do the program, it was an inconvenience at first and I came in with a negative view about having to attend group. Cody was my assigned therapist and I absolutely love her, she helped me see things that I didn’t see before and helped me work through some of my struggles. She made our therapy sessions, supportive and it felt like I was speaking with a friend who actually cared. Cody is the type of person you want to hang out with because of the vibe she gives off, I learned so much from our therapy sessions and my view on the whole thing has changed and I feel like it was a good and needed experience after all. She has an incredible ability to see things from a different perspective, which often helps me look at my own situations in a new and more positive light. We were just visiting Elevations for a 2 days orientation and 2 days kid visit. We were very impressed with the Facility, and the professionalism of the therapists, and other stuff members. The way how they address the kids, and communicate with them shows that they really care for them. The kids looked pretty comfortable as well. The Facility is very safe, and there are many safety precautions in place ensuring the well-being of the kids.We have seen a lot of adorable dogs (every therapists has dogs) mingling with the kids, and the kids loved to pet them.We loved the Library, the School, the Cafeteria, where we were invited to have dinner with our kids.I wish, the kids could spend more time outside in the surrounding grassy areas in between the buildings. However, we understood that there were contraction workers fixing some areas, so for safety reasons the kids could not spend more time outside. This will change, once the contraction is over.All together we have only good things to say about "Elevations".

Most facilities like this one tend to get negative feedback. It's the nature of the beast, but personally my experience has been a good one. They have great staff, the facility is clean and the food is really good. Not to mention all the amazing recreational outtings!
