| Elevations RTC is a residential treatment center that treats mental health concerns, behavioral health problems, and academic concerns. They treat adolescents of any gender between the ages of 13 and 18. You can find them in Syracuse, Utah, just north of Salt Lake City. They are able to treat substance use and co-occurring disorders here while pro | Treatments Programs Payment Options | We were just visiting Elevations for a 2 days orientation and 2 days kid visit. We were very impressed with the Facility, and the professionalism of the therapists, and other stuff members. The way how they address the kids, and communicate with them shows that they really care for them. The kids looked pretty comfortable as well. The Facility is very safe, and there are many safety precautions in place ensuring the well-being of the kids.We have seen a lot of adorable dogs (every therapists has dogs) mingling with the kids, and the kids loved to pet them.We loved the Library, the School, the Cafeteria, where we were invited to have dinner with our kids.I wish, the kids could spend more time outside in the surrounding grassy areas in between the buildings. However, we understood that there were contraction workers fixing some areas, so for safety reasons the kids could not spend more time outside. This will change, once the contraction is over. All together we have only good things to say about "Elevations".

Most facilities like this one tend to get negative feedback. It's the nature of the beast, but personally my experience has been a good one. They have great staff, the facility is clean and the food is really good. Not to mention all the amazing recreational outtings!

| Spirit Mountain Recovery is a private facility located in Eden, Utah. Spirit Mountain Recovery specializes in the treatment of substance abuse, dual diagnosis, alcoholism and mental health. Our philosophy is to provide guidance and support in a consistent, compassionate and non-judgmental way to provide a positive environment for healing. Where Hop | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Spirit Mountain Recovery was nothing short of a life saver for me. Before arriving, I was the kind of guy who thought he knew everything, no one could tell me anything new or how I needed to live my life. But this place gently but powerfully shifted that mindset. Through their guidance, I’ve moved from someone stuck in his ways to someone who is open, growing, and learning every single day.
My experience at Spirit Mountain was fresh and a transformation. It wasn’t just another treatment program for me, it was a complete reset for my life. The environment, the staff, and the support system created a space where I could dig deep, challenge old beliefs, and start building a better version of myself.
Most importantly, Spirit Mountain didn’t just give me the tools for sobriety, they gave me tools to grow as a man and to deepen my spiritual life. Today I’m working everyday to walk a path that’s grounded in purpose and faith, and I’m incredibly grateful for the role this recovery center played in that journey.
Thank you, Spirit Mountain Recovery

Spirit Mountain Recovery has brought joy and gratitude back into my life. I had been to seven treatment centers over the last twelve years prior to coming to SMR. It was explained to me before arriving that their style of programming is a little different than my experience in the past. It is not just a traditional 12-step program. They put in emphasis on experiential therapy that allows clients to get out in the beautiful Utah wilderness every week instead of sitting at the house day in and day out. This aspect of the program has allowed me to rediscover my passion for the outdoors and reignite the fire I had lost for hobbies such as hiking, snowboarding, pickle ball, going to the gym etc. They also give us the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with the local recovery community through going to meetings throughout the week. The staff made the experience for me during my four months I was there. Each staff member from the lowest level position all the up to the owner made themselves available at anytime when needed. It was clear that they all truly cared about each client and came always from a place of compassion and love. The staff to client relationships was unlike anything I’ve experience before in past treatment centers. Most of the staff are in recovery and majority of them are alumni of SMR, so being able to relate to them on a personal level came very easy. Honest recovery work requires a lot of vulnerability and the staff provides a very safe place for this to happen. They have been in the exact spot the clients are in during their recovery journeys so they fully understand the pain and sadness we feel in early sobriety. Lastly, SMR is not done with you when you leave the center. Between the monthly alumni meetings and calls from the staff to check-in, they really want to remain involved within our recovery journeys which allows those important relationships that were built to continue on. This is just another part of the program that separates them from others.
There will always be a special place in my heart for Spirit Mountain. I am forever grateful to this program and the people I met as a result. If you or a loved one is struggling with substance abuse, I highly recommend Spirit Mountain. You will be shown love, acceptance and compassion and will have the opportunity to build a foundation of recovery that can bring a life of peace and serenity that we loose when we are stuck in the pit of substance abuse. I wish I had found Spirit Mountain back in 2013 but am so glad I found it when I did. It changed my life and continues to better my life each and everyday.

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my additions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

Amethyst Center for Healing, and Jana Fulmer changed my life. As a trans person recovering from trauma, this was a safe haven that is irreplaceable. I was given space and tools to start discovering more about myself and how to grow when in a place of pain.I also really respect what they do not only working with victims of violence but those who have hurt others. This reparative justice ethos is inspiring and part of a future that focuses on rehabilitation not punitive systems.I m so much happier with my life, and a lot of that has to do with the empowerment and trust I was given at Amethyst to start making decisions in my life that were more focused and less reactionary. This is the best clinic I've ever been to. The doctors are awesome!Update;I have now been going to Martindale Clinic for over 5 years now.I am happy to say that I'm happier than ever to be going to Martindale Clinic.I know some reviews make it seem like they are negligent answering phones and returning calls, but please remember they serve SO many people that they are constantly busy. But this is actually a testament of how Awesome they really are! To have so many people as patients! Here's some examples of my experiences in these last 5 years;During COVID (2020), I had recently lost my housing, and ended up drinking antifreeze after asking help from The U of U, only for the U to kick me off the property. When I was walking up to Martindale Clinic while drinking from the jug of antifreeze, someone is saw and went in and told the staff. My PCP (Jessica Arbogast) literally came outside with a couple of chairs and sat with me while they called the ambulance.Keep in mind this was at the hight of COVID and as it turned out, I had an active COVID infection. My PCP sat and talked with me the whole time until the ambulance arrived. Then she also directed them to bring me to LDS hospital, since I had just had such a negative experience at the U, and didn't feel safe there even though the U was a bit closer.Jessica also remembers my family members names that I've talked about. She even remembers the problems or encounters that I have talked about regarding not just family, but my day to day experiences.Going to Martindale Clinic to get help with my addiction was possibly the best choice I've ever made and I've been sober for over 4 years now!To the staff at Martindale Clinic, and especially Jessica Arbogast, I want to say this;Thank You SO Much! You have been key in my life getting so much better, and I will always remember your help and kindness! Please if anyone is looking to get away from their addiction, and improve their life...Please.give Martindale Clinic a chance to help you!

I want to stress how grateful I am for this place. I used heroin for years and thought that it was my only future. I tried any and every way to get off it and nothing worked. Finally I found Project and slowly but surely worked my way to where I am now. I ve been clean 2 years and going strong! If you read Champ s review, you should know that I felt a similar way when I was using. I hated anyone that tried to help me. I saw them as a threat and an obstacle to my next fix. When you re down that far you ll say and do anything. You see the people trying to help you the most as your biggest enemy. I relapsed a few years ago while I was a patient here, and they gave me chance after chance before they finally decided I needed a higher level of care. I was livid! I had to go detox at a hospital and do treatment elsewhere, but nonetheless they still took me back when I was ready. Today, I m so damn glad and thankful they made that decision. In fact, there were a few other times that I just stopped going and had to go through the intake process every time, but they never denied me. They don t give up on their clients. You would have to have done something dangerous or threatening to be told you can t come back. I know that Bret (my case worker/therapist without the official title ) has been my savior. He s professional, genuine, dedicated and compassionate. He never gave up on me when everyone else understandably did and he had every reason to. Bret truly cares about his clients. Because of past trauma, I don t like to be in a room alone with an older man, but I don t feel like that with him. His office is a safe environment and so is he. I ve never been treated poorly by any of the staff. They ve all been kind and professional. I have to give a shout out to Malik at the front desk. He s been there the entire time I ve been going to Project and I can totally see why they keep him. He is very good at and serious about his job. He not only does it well, but I can tell he genuinely cares about each of us. He says hi to us individually, asks how we re doing and engages in healthy conversation, every time! Thank you for always making me feel welcome and safe, Malik! I could go on and on with things to say about Project Reality, but I think what I ve said so far has shown how grateful I am for this place. Thank you for saving my life, Project!

This o | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am so grateful to have found this treatment. I have been in treatment for the last 2 1/2 years and felt like I wasn't getting personalized, meaningful, quality interactions from my clinicians. I was just a $$ in their chair. I have found a treatment where I am a valued member of their community and when I ask for help I am really HEARD and the staff takes their time to figure out the best course of action for me as an individual. I get so much information and treatment from (especially) Allison that I have never gotten in any of the other treatment centers I've been to over the last 15 years. She has an extensive knowledge and education on addiction and takes her time to make sure I feel like I'm getting the most that I can get. I have an individual therapist that pushes me in so many great ways to be the best me I can be and helps me to learn the tools to become those things seamlessly. My group sessions along with my individual sessions are helping me in my recovery as well as a functioning member of society and someone who I am proud to look at in the mirror every day.

Allison is the best. I learned so much going there. She has taught me so much about substance abuse. She had my back through my whole journey. There is not a word that explains how awesome she is.

Been going here for almost a year, and I really enjoyed talking to Allison H. She is the best she know what she is talking about and I would recommend her for anyone who has to go here. The other employees in the building are also very cool and make you feel comfortable being there. Gonna miss the weekly talks.

It’s devoted to helping teenage boys between the ages of 1 | Treatments Programs Payment Options | So far our experience have been very positive. We were very impressed with the check in process and how smooth that went. We got all our questions answered before we left and were able to say goodbye feeling like our son was going to be in good hands. We got to talk to him that night which helped ease our anxiety a lot.The only rough thing for us was we did not hear from our son for a week until we sent an email asking for contact.Family Therapy went okay for our first Zoom session. I'm still nervous about him being so far away but I do feel like he's being taken care of and will learn good life skills needed to come home and be successful.I am always willing to admit when I am wrong and I have been convinced that the communication was only one sided and that we were being kept from contact with our son. Come to find out it was our phone carrier blocking the unknown number the whole time. My only suggestion to calm a worried parent would be to send an email letting us know contact is trying to be made. Thank you for the help in clearing up the situation and reconnecting us. Staff went above and beyond. Thanks Alex and Zach

Thank you for caring for my son and teaching him some valuable, lifelong skills. I have no doubt in my mind he will not succeed. All the staff have been very communicative, show empathy, and are well engaged in children's treatment plans. Benchmark goes well above any facility that I have worked with. Thank you for everything!!!
