Rainbow's End is a place for healing in a non-clinical environment. It offers non-traditional treatment with more one-on-one attention then other programs provide. It treats the whole person individually and provides education and tools through creative groups and outings. As someone who has been in and out of treatment centers throughout my life, I have never gotten the insight or perspective of recovery that Rainbows End gave me. The healing journey from addiction began in the spring of 2020 when I pulled into the driveway at Rainbow's End Recovery. I was greeted with love, compassion and warmth from everyone. I felt welcomed. The beautiful character nestled alongside the Salmon River brings joy to my heart. I spent many days enjoying the landscape, feeding the horses and sitting by the river. I have so many wonderful memories of hiking, fishing, making music, making new friends, and taking the first critical steps in recovery. The meals and desserts were absolutely stunning. Loved the cowboy cookies! I am so grateful for Rainbow's End Recovery. A foundation was established in the time I spent there. Thank you to all the staff who loved me when I could not love myself and never gave up on me. Today, my life is filled with love, peace joy and adventure. Thank you all!

All but two of the TT s were amazing, and seemed very invested in patient recoveries, My counselor was both empathetic and challenging. And created a safe space for me to be honest with myself and her. I have been to this treatment center three times now. Every time I have gotten a lot out of it, but this last time changed my life. Sometimes I think people confuse treatment with a vacation and a spa. But if you are willing to try and do the work necessary, they Will go so far for you. But of course, they are not gonna work harder than you re willing to work. I can t say enough about the Case Manager currently she went above and Beyond for me. She had a massive impact on my heart, My life and my recovery. My counselor Case Manager, and the Director all made me feel like a priority. And sometimes I struggle with myself a priority. It meant the world to me.

This place teaches alot of useful skills like anger management, meditation, and focuses alot on mental health not just about staying sober. Teaches alot of relationship skills ect, Staff are all really kind and the rooms and showers are big and nice. It's alot better then I thought, but I wasn't forced into going, left early and didn't make it to graduate but been sober ever since the ninth and My relationships have improved let alone My physical health. I Absolutely Do recommend this place to anyone who wants to get sober and stay sober!! Thank you mcdc they saved my life! Hope I never need to go again but if I did I would go happily!

You are not going to find a better Crisis center ..... absolutely the best care I've had for horrific PTSD EVER I felt that compared to other places I used to have to take my ex-wife and once when I got divorced....hands down no comparison....incredible care and loving nonjudgmental staff and I was acting pretty darned weird due to Trauma response......do your self a Favor and don't go it alone it took 30 years for me to get help like this. Sadly, I have few been to quite a few recovery centers over the years. Within the first week I had learned more than I had in any other I had attended. Such a clean facility with staff that truly care. Colin is a top notch chef that made us the best meals. My wife is in trouble when I get home, as my taste buds have been accustomed to the best food(kidding). The counselor's and staff are so wonderful and helpful. I’m currently a resident here and it has helped me turn my life around and look at life in a different perspective both Physically and Mentally. I can’t even imagine how my life would have looked liked if I didn’t have the courage to ask for help and come here.

The Walker Center changed my life. I was terrified, I had never been in treatment before, I just knew it wasn t for me. 3/20/25: Followup appointment with NP Laura Bainbridge and a general review of my issues and health went very well. She is the best at what she does. Very thorough and pays attention to the details. I am very happy with Laura Bainbridge, the Medical Center staff, and with the whole Boise operation. Even the xray technician, Liz, besides being efficient and thorough in her work, was entertaining and fun.3/15/25: Went to Emergency Room at Boise VA and was seen by Dr. Jesse Mix. In a few minutes he diagnosed a nerve pinch in my neck that was previously misdiagnosed by a different provider at a different medical organization. Dr. Mix is very sharp and knowledgeable. His solutions were right on. Two days later I was pain free. Thank you Dr. Mix and the Boise VA.2/20/25: VA NP Jeff Weese spent significant time with me today reviewing my EKG and ECG. He was very thorough and detailed in information and explanations. He is obviously very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone seeking wise advise. Thanks much Jeff and Boise VA.1/24/25: I was at Boise VA Medical Center today, and was seen by a PA new to me. Nicole Ackley, PA was great. Helped me with a number of medical issues. So I went to the ER because of complications from a colonoscopy. I went through some tests and was about to be released. There was a younger gentleman that came in the room right next to me. I was about to get released when the younger gentleman next to me stopped breathing. The dr rushed out of my room and went into ER mode. Their team performed CPR on this veteran for 40 minutes while I m in the room right next door. The veteran ended up passing away and my heart was broken. The moral of this post is if I was ever in that situation and passed away I can tell every single veteran that this Dr and his team worked above and beyond to save his life and I know they would have done the same for me. I was very affected by their teamwork and professionalism. The dr came back in my room to release me and said to me I love all you veterans and got teary eyed with me. Whomever the Dr was on the evening of 12/05/24 you are my hero. This breaks my heart just writing this but had to share how proud I was will everyone of the staff.
