We unfortunately had to visit the ER twice this past weekend and, on recommendation from a friend, came here. From check-in to discharge every single person we encountered was pleasant, helpful and kind. The care from the nurses and doctors was outstanding and we never had to wait for a "check-in". Everyone was constantly monitoring and keeping us in the loop. Hopefully we won't have to return but if we do, this is the hospital we will come to.

If your sick/dying mother needs to use bathroom with assistance you'll have to wait until they unfortunately soil themselves, every time to get any assistance. This place has become one of the worst hospitals in history. If I put 1 star the review will never post. The drs have no clue how to communicate with each other, and if u need hospice, that wasnt approved yet they'll call you every morning to tell you; word for word; well your mother can't stay here forever, haha... I could not make this up. N5 floor is the worst nursing staff.

The medical staff there have been amazing. I had to stay for almost a week, and they did everything they could to make that easier. I am grateful. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Madiha Rasool specifically. Her bedside manner is beyond what could ever be taught and she is so good at explaining what is going on.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I can't stand this hospital you go to the emergency room wait 3 hours finally get in a room you wait another 45 minutes to an hour just for them to assume your fine and have no thorough checkup only give you drugs and send you on their way sab I'm disappointed every time I came

Feeling a bit emotional over not seeing the wonderful staff every day after my fiancés two week stay. I can’t express enough how wonderful this hospital was. He has had something really serious going on for a while now and I refused to go to our local hospitals because I needed a fresh set of eyes on him to get to the bottom of it! I can’t say enough. The care, the kindness, the respect and just overall welcoming friendly and caring staff is something I will never forget. Good job to everyone, your work ethic goes above and beyond and it shows. Dr Daria, Dr Benaquista, Dr Kahn, Tina, Victoria, Karen, Seth, Tim, Michelle, Nicole, Alison, Fran, the cafeteria staff just to name a few! If I forgot anyone which I know I have I apologize but it was two weeks of a blur! You were all rockstars! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Pretty sad when the people checking in patients call for a patient who is in a wheelchair. 3 times and instead of getting up and looking for the patient another patient wheeled him over to been seen while the nurse person is on the phone doing absolutely nothing. Very unprofessional.

If I could give this hospital a negative I sure would. It's dirty, they put patients in a so called cubby, and waited an hour for some damn discharge papers.
