About Power House Recovery Center LLC.

Power House Recovery Center is a nonprofit organization that offers a residential addiction treatment program based on the Big Book and 12 step model of recovery. The program helps adult men dealing with substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health challenges, and they also prioritize men without severe mental health needs.

The facility is located in Houston, Texas, accessible from major roadways, five miles from I-69 and 14 miles north of downtown Houston. Clients pay for the program out-of-pocket. The fee structure is affordable compared to most inpatient drug and alcohol rehab programs.

Clients pay an initial $250 payment to cover the first two weeks of the program. That’s followed by $125 weekly fees. Fees are nonrefundable, but the staff will work with you to make the fee structure work for you.

Emphasizing the 12 Step Recovery Model

The program presents an updated version of Alcoholics Anonymous’ Big Book in a format that goes beyond the basics of the original program. Clients learn important concepts that have been misconstrued or watered down over time.

They place a heavy emphasis on working with others dealing with addiction, no matter where you are in the recovery process. The recovery team believes that until you help others with SUD, you won’t fully embrace recovery. The program is especially helpful for those seeking a peer supported, communal living arrangement for recovery.

Welcoming and Structured Addiction Treatment

Clients in the program have highlighted the accountability, personal growth and sense of brotherhood. Alumni frequently mention the supportive, structured and welcoming community.

Those who have gone through the program have also spoken positively about the peer mentoring and spiritual recovery approach. Families of those in recovery have noted the staff’s commitment and dedication to every individual’s well being.

The program is a highly structured, faith based program and 12 step meetings are mandatory. There is an emphasis on giving back and residents help with the upkeep of the facility. Additionally, there is a zero tolerance policy for possession of drugs, alcohol or relapse.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Inpatient rehab programs are geared toward clients in early recovery. They also provide intensive support for clients in crisis and those at an increased relapse risk. Clients receive housing and meals while in inpatient care, allowing them to focus solely on their recovery. Most programs prioritize addiction counseling but may draw on various psychotherapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, RBT, trauma therapy, and motivational interviewing. Life skills training and holistic therapies are also common in inpatient care.

Treatments

Alcoholism occurs when a person becomes physically and psychologically dependent on alcohol. Attending a professional alcohol rehab in Texas can provide customized intervention methods to address the physical, mental, and relational challenges of addiction.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Programs

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

I wouldn't go here they are only out for money here when I left I left my Facebook open and the owner got into my Facebook and i have a lot of friends telling me they are trying to scam them trying to sell a car and dogs. I wouldn't put yourlife in there hands. They are crooked. It's a embarrassment having call me and tell me that they were using my faceboook to scam them. Go at your own risk but the place is a joke
