I have 2 amazing Caseworkers now and every one I have had in the past has been great. The people here have saved my life and also helped me to find mental stability for the first time in a long time. I have never met a Dr. like Dr. Nathan. He CARES, he really listens. He asks tons of questions in order to give you the very best possible treatment for you as an individual. He talks directly to you, like you are a person not a diagnosis. He makes sure you really understand everything and I have never had a Dr. truly respect me by making sure I had the 1st voice in my own treatment and then he suggests the best course of action. If there were more doctors like him, people would 100% always get the exact treatment they need. He is just incredible and he is funny too.

This place and people have made my children feel way better and have helped them with their depression and ADHD, the skills trainers are amazing people who have understanded our problems and helped us, but they have a very small amout of bilingual employees which is making my oldest recovery process harder since she can't express her feeling that much, but other than that very caring understanding and loving people work here I 100% recomed to bring yourkids if they need any help.

Accepted Insurance

Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare, Conroe works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

24-hour clinical care in Texas provides a safe environment for medical detox. This setting is crucial to provide medical care during withdrawal. Certain withdrawal symptoms can cause life-threatening conditions, but patients in a supervised clinical setting have treatment readily available to address any symptoms before they become severe. Treatment can also be provided for co-occurring physical and mental health issues.

inpatient iconInpatient

Inpatient rehab programs are geared toward clients in early recovery. They also provide intensive support for clients in crisis and those at an increased relapse risk. Clients receive housing and meals while in inpatient care, allowing them to focus solely on their recovery. Most programs prioritize addiction counseling but may draw on various psychotherapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, RBT, trauma therapy, and motivational interviewing. Life skills training and holistic therapies are also common in inpatient care.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance abuse treatment is available in Texas for anyone who's struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. These programs usually provide a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plan, and include evidence-based treatments, like therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful coping strategies, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help with emotional regulation and stress.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
military-program thumbnail image

Military Program

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Therapy sessions that incorporate motivational interviewing focus on OARS: open questions, affirmation, reflections, and summarizing. This facilitates an exchange of information and an empowering of the client to decide for themselves what changes might need to be made in their lives.

Initially, it was hard for me to go through the treatment. But I buckled up and put in the work that was needed. Now I'm proud to say that I'm finally sober and an example to others.

Latasha made it ok to be me. I am finally living my best life. I put in teamwork, and I received teamwork and more. Every person at Tri County, MHMR in Cleveland, Texas, has been amazing. They are how I reward myself.

The state wants my doctor to fill out a medical form stating my medications my diagnosis and my doctors signature. For my license not to be suspended. This could be for a long amount of time or life. I presented the paperwork to my doctor and he said he would look over it . And fill it out instead he decided to go on vacation and never return Dr. Gonzales leaving me in stress and hoping this organization would prove to the state I’m getting some help I presented the same paperwork to my case manager Jordan hoping she could help me get it filled out but was clearly over looked set to the side and lost in t he other paper. My therapist Tiffany helped me request my medical records though that is not what the state wanted they want a medical form signed and dated my a licensed doctor. And tri county fails to help guide and support their clients to victory and help them succeed I have went through numerous doctors and numerous caseworkers not from my own request but because they are not consistent with care and when it actually matters they do not take priority in proving your sanity to the state

Very rude , my son behavior has worsen , the medical doctor said he doesn’t need meds . However he was on medication in the other state , we just moved here . He said if he was acting up at school he’ll need it , he didn’t care about what he was doing at home and the environment he was creating. He told me leave if we can’t have a conversation, all I said was it was okay for him to act like that at home but not at school . I triggered him he started to shake , huff and puff . Clearly they don’t care about his well being.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dr. Gonzalez and Leslie, RN-this a a well deserved 5 star review! First, the doctor started out by greeting and rooming his own patient! Who does that-what a special touch and a welcome treat! He is very talented, a fantastic listener, engaging, thought provoking and a leader in the industry. You know a good doctor always has a great nurse! Knowing this, and after meeting Dr. Gonzalez, I am not at all surprised nurse Leslie was equally amazing. She is thorough, emotionally intelligent and goes above and beyond to make sure her patient has an exceptional customer experience. What a great first touch point and an equally great way to kick off a new patient appointment. Well done team!
