Had reached another bottom & was being discharged from detox when I found Atlas. The entire staff: admin, counselors, housing links & treatment style was incredibly beneficial to helping me get back to being a productive member of society. I have continuous support to stay sober & couldn't be where I am without their devoted care & links to resources. Huge thanks to all @ Atlas TC! 🙌🏽

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Atlas Addiction Treatment Center of Oregon works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a more intensive form of outpatient and can be a step-down service in substance use disorder treatment. During PHP treatment, which lasts 4-8 hours per day and up to 5 days a week, you'll participate in daily therapeutic services (relapse prevention, medication management, and behavioral therapy) for an average of 90 days. The cost of PHP treatment varies, but it is typically covered by insurance providers.

Intensive outpatient programs provide robust, high-frequency care for clients in early recovery and those at an increased risk of relapse. Clients are generally expected to participate in nine to 20 hours of treatment per week, with the number and duration of sessions decreasing as clients stabilize. Intensive outpatient treatment often combines psychotherapy, including individual, group, and family counseling, with addiction and recovery education. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) and holistic therapies are also common.

Clients who wish to remain in their homes while in recovery may elect to enroll in an outpatient rehab, many of which offer evening, night, and weekend services to accommodate clients' schedules. Most outpatient facilities provide multiple levels of care to align with clients' evolving needs, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) for clients who require robust support and supervision. Addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training are the most common treatment modalities.

Treatments

Alcoholism is characterized by tolerance to alcohol and withdrawal symptoms if drinking suddenly ceases. To overcome alcohol addiction, some people may require intensive alcohol rehab in Oregon. This treatment is highly structured and typically includes medical detox, behavioral therapies, and 12-step programs. Support systems are crucial during and after rehab, so involvement in support groups typically continues after rehab treatment is complete.

Drug rehab in Oregon offers a full continuum of care for those struggling with addiction. From detox, to inpatient, to outpatient, to aftercare, Oregon residents can find the support they need for recovery. Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Individualized therapy is personalized sessions to address your drug and alcohol addiction treatment. Your therapist seeks to understand your background and addiction triggers so they can collaborate with you to create a customized plan. In this plan, you set realistic goals, address underlying mental and emotional issues, and develop effective coping strategies.

Group therapy sessions build community among participants. This community spirit creates strong bonds that support your path to recovery. The group setting offers you the opportunity to share experiences and goals in a judgment free environment.

During family therapy sessions, each member learns to rebuild trust and strengthen the relationships that have been negatively affected by addiction. Family therapists use guided interventions to help members improve their communication skills and interactions, as well as address underlying issues within the family. This helps to create a supportive atmosphere for everyone.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Oregon is a short term talk therapy method used to treat mental and behavioral disorders. Based on client needs, the therapist may recommend five to 20 sessions. Typically, this form of therapy requires fewer sessions than many other types of treatment.

The six main elements of dialectical behavior therapy are designed to help you develop skills for recovery. These are related to: 1. Accepting your circumstances 2. Learning new skills 3. Receiving support 4. Learning positive behavioral responses 5. Changing negative thought patterns 6. Building collaboration skills.

Recreational therapy is often offered within a holistic treatment center that addresses drug and alcohol addiction treatment. It integrates activities like hiking, art, and team sports to improve physical and mental health. These activities give you an outlet to express your emotions and reduce your stress levels while fostering social connections.

To the Atlas team, my recovery family, and anyone scrolling Google reviews wondering if this place is worth it: Yes. A thousand times, yes. Not because Atlas is perfect. Not because recovery is easy. Not because someone waves a magic wand and suddenly everything gets better after 90 days. But because the people here care. People grow here. Watching it is the the little unknown step that’s not being talked about. A little over a year ago, I walked through these doors carrying far more than I was willing to admit. I had spent most of my adult life building experiences for others—working in hospitality, leading teams, planning events, and creating spaces where people felt welcome. I earned a journalism degree from the University of Oregon and thought I had a pretty good understanding of people. Then life humbled me. Recovery has taught me that knowing people and knowing yourself are two very different things. What I found at Atlas wasn’t just treatment. It wasn’t just housing assistance, groups, therapy, employment resources, or case management. It was community. It was being greeted with a smile when I didn’t feel like smiling back. It was hearing laughter from the ‘no ceiling room’ on days when life felt impossibly heavy. It was the counselors, clinicians, administrators, support staff, peers, and ‘personality hires’ who reminded me that healing doesn’t have to happen alone. They knew me by name, they asked how I was doing, and they they actually cared. (Gross I know trust me.) There were plenty of days where healing looked less like a breakthrough and more like sitting in the common area scrolling TikTok, filling out job applications, setting up health insurance, drinking coffee, laughing, crying, complaining, celebrating tiny wins, and trying again tomorrow. Atlas understands something important: recovery is not one-size-fits-all. They don’t expect everyone to walk the same path. They encourage you to find what works for you. They provide tools, resources, accountability, and support, but they also remind you that the work belongs to you. Recovery isn’t something that’s done for you—it’s something you learn to do for yourself. To my recovery family: thank you. Thank you for the conversations, the honesty, the laughter, the tough love, and the reminders that none of us were as alone as we thought we were. To the Atlas team: thank you for showing up every day for people who are often trying to learn how to show up for themselves. And to anyone reading this because you’re scared, exhausted, skeptical, or wondering if it’s too late: It isn’t. Don’t believe me? Try it. What do you have to loose? You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to be perfect. Atlas gave me the opportunity to rebuild my life with dignity, community, and support. For that, I will always be grateful. With love, gratitude, and a healthy amount of caffeine, Jorge Garcia 💜

Response from the owner
Jorge, thank you. This means more than you know. Watching you rebuild your life with such honesty, humor, and heart has been a privilege for all of us. You showed up for yourself, and you showed up for the people around you, and that's the whole thing right there.

You'll always be part of the Atlas family. Keep going, keep caffeinating, and don't be a stranger.
With gratitude (and a fresh pot brewing in the no ceiling room).

This place has been truly supportive, very clear communication with the staff I feel very respected and thought of. The helped me with housing and getting into the most supportive sober home I've ever been in and I have strong support and love from the other gentleman their. They have help with bus pass to get to groups and make it here and I feel extremely supported by my counselor and the other staff members as well. The respect and transparency with everyone here is by far the best I've experienced in any treatment center. I've been able to share openly and honestly in groups without fear of judgement or being ignored. Everyone is valued here and the support from the other people in the program is amazing. I've been able to make new friends find hobbies to do on the weekends with other clean and sober people and truly embrace a new way of living. If it wasn't for atlas and their commitment to really help I don't know where I would be. My journey has just begun but I know I'm on the right path here. If your reading this and wondering if treatment is for you or struggling with addiction then just be brave, come in and talk with someone or make the call and show up you will not regret it. We are all her for and you can find a new way of living clean and sober here. Thank you Atlas for paving the way for me!!!

I have been to multiple treatment/rehab centers, across the United States in fact. At 29 years old, I have attended everything from lock down facilities, correctional behavioral and drug treatment, inpatient, outpatient and youth facilities. I also work in the recovery field and I can say that while this is not the most intensive treatment I have attended, it is the most comfortable. Atlas Treatment Center does a great job of bridging the gap between client and counselor, effectively blending lived experience with education and trauma-informed care within their staff. Most of all, I would say that the staff at Atlas excel at making clients feel like respected members of the recovery community. They balance discipline with patience and it is because of these factors that i would recommend this facility to new and versed recovering addicts alike.
