At the point that many of us seek therapy we're already very overwhelmed and exhausted. So was my case. I reached out to LifeStance as I had previously sought care with Western Psychological now LifeStance. I experienced kind, professional attention. Scheduling didn't take long and the registration process was easy to navigate. I've been working with provider, Garrett Wheeler and have been having a very positive experience overall. I'm the kind to run when the process gets uncomfortable. That has yet to happen. If you're in need of talk therapy I recommend LifeStance.

Usually I'm in and out in 5-15 minutes tops which if you don't know is much quicker than most other clinics, and because of that it works perfectly if you're someone who uses ride to care or similar programs that offer 15 minute wait and returns. I will admit their policies are quite strict, but they do try their best to accommodate your needs if you can meet them halfway, and if you're someone who needs that extra structure and support in your recovery than this is likely the perfect clinic for you. Lastly I want to personally thank Kim, John, and Melissa for everything they've done for me. I hope they know that all the little ways they show they care don't go unnoticed or unappreciated.

This treatment facility helped save my life! LITERALLY! (I previously went to other treatment facilities and failed they didn't have or offer the treatment this place does...) they help me see I have a life worth saving! They help me fight! showed me how to live a clean and sober life! Showed me what sobriety really is (which again the other facilities failed me) Do you wanna know who helped me down the road to recovery? Kasey! The one everyone has something to say about! Well if it wasn't for Kasey helping me, pushing me, fighting me, caring for me... I wouldn't be alive today to write this review! She showed me I was worth fighting for that it was going to be a hard ugly in road to recovery and that it tough but if I really really want it I can have it! I just have to fight hard as hell and recovery isn't for lazy LOL... That recovery is a lifetime of work that never stops... Thank you for helping through the hardest thing I have ever been through! NEVER GIVING UP ON ME!!! Also thank you to everyone one else that has been through this long journey with me and helping me when I hand no one else....

A retired person often finds time on their hands. That was me. So, after seeing a hiring sign at NWMH for some time, I called and offered my services. I started in a home with 5 clients in a triplex. I learned medication administration, cooking for diet restricted individuals, learned how to de-escalate explosive situations, and be an all-around support person. From there, I graduated to a clerkship, answering phones, paying bills, reconciling accounts, and general office support. Eventually, I learned the ins and outs of open-enrollment during open season for insurance enrollment. Then hiring strategies and eventually the resolution of employment issues. All of this was a learning curve. I had the support of my clients, my fellow staff, my managers and upper level management. This is not to say that there weren't challenges: personalities; stresses and strains. But the reward of helping an under-served community far outweighed the challenges. I have read the negative reviews on this site. Some of them are valid; some of them are driven by reasons I don't fully understand. But I can say from my perspective, when asked to help, whether from staff or clients, I have tried to meet people where they are and assist them on where they want to go. Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me. Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

Keaton, Kristen, and the rest of the staff at Pacific Crest Trail Detox are phenomenal! As a community partner, I know the great work that they do for their patients and I only ever hear glowing reviews about their facility and the care that they provide. An absolutely AMAZING facility and staff. This facility doesn't feel like you're in an actual medical detox, it feels more like house sitting for a friend but having access to a doctor/nurse 24/7. You can bring books and stuff to draw/write/paint and they will let you bring nicotine products like vapes and cigarettes in. They have a TV in living room with all the major streaming platforms like Netflix/Hulu/Prime/HBO and a few others They got me a bed and in very quickly and the intake process was also fast and not super invasive. Staff was very friendly and caring. You get 3 home cooked meals a day and they are GOOD. It's not some slop on a tray like jail or hospital food. They provide you a myriad of comfort medications and you don't have to argue and fight with them about it. They made sure I knew that I could come ask for more if I was feeling unwell. To top it off they really care about getting you into an aftercare program and getting the help you need to get back on your feet afterwards.

This recovery program changed my life. Another Chance helped me get into sober housing my first day of treatment; the manager has now asked me to be the assistant house manager of that house, and I have been sober for 5 months now. This is all due to what I’ve gained from the classes at Another Chance. The counselors at Another Chance truly care about their clients and promote long term sobriety through community supports. Counselors teach through discussion based classes around psychotherapy, recovery, coping skills, and self sufficiency. The counselors work with each person to make their recovery “work for them” when it comes to making a schedule/requirements for their program. It really is so supportive and encouraging it makes me want to be there every day unlike any other program I’ve ever worked before. I encourage everyone to give this program a chance.

The Women's recovery center is absolutely amazing. From the facility to the food to the best staff I've ever gotten care from (and I've been to treatment more times than I care to admit), it's just wonderful all around. I honestly want to go back as an employee someday just because I love them so much. There isn't one person on staff that's uncaring or rude or hard to get along with. They all love the work they do and it shows. They listen to everyone's unique needs and do their absolute best to accommodate what they can and if they don't there's a darn good reason for it. The schedule is great, not too much but not too little.. the food is incredible, you get to go to the YMCA and go for walks with Go the Distance, they take those that choose to go to church.. I just can't say enough good about them. I still call and check in and they get excited to hear from me and are cheering me on but I've relapsed in the past and had to go back and they welcomed me with open arms. No shame or judgement at all. It's honestly the best treatment center I've ever gone to and would highly recommend it to anyone..

The Lifeline Women’s program has done so much to help me on my journey to recovery. Through the classes and peer led panels at Lifeline I have gained a support system that will continue to help me on my journey. I love the staff, it is a group of individuals who absolutely care about every single woman who enters the doors. They take the time to get to know each patient and their needs. You will have the opportunity to visit one of the medication assisted centers to get on either Methadone or Suboxone, you will have access to mental health counseling which includes equine therapy, you can visit the dentist and the doctor while a patient. All of your needs will be met while you are a resident at Lifeline. You will even get the opportunity to earn a nice pair of walking/running shoes, a new sports bra, a medal and a certificate after completing 10 “Go TheDistance” walks.
