About Embracia Health

Resting amongst the lofty hills and expansive plains of Austin, Texas, is Embracia Health. This location provides addiction and co-occurring disorder counseling, including inpatient and detox services. They also offer medication assisted treatment.

This center is focused on convenience for clients. Appointments can be scheduled within three days so you get seen sooner. They can also provide most services with a telehealth option, so you can receive care remotely in the comfort of your own home.

This location doesn’t accept insurance. Instead, it is self pay per session.

Relearning Sobriety

Addiction counseling typically teaches you new skills to help you cope with cravings and symptoms. Counselors here add to this by assisting you in building new daily routines. Doing so can help you avoid people, places and situations that may trigger the urge to use illicit substances.

Outpatient Detox

When most people think of drug or alcohol detox, they think of inpatient detox, where they remain in a facility under the close watch of staff during the process. But this clinic provides both inpatient and outpatient detox, letting those with mild symptoms detox without the typical restrictions.

You’ll visit the clinic regularly to meet with your team and have your progress checked, but you’ll otherwise be free to go and do what you want as you prepare for the next step of treatment.

The outpatient option is ideal for those who want to continue working or meet other responsibilities while undergoing detox. It also allows you to stay with your family during what can be a difficult time, which you may find comforting.

Planning Long Term

While you’re in treatment here, your providers will have their eyes on the present and the future. While working toward your treatment goals, you’ll also be planning for the future and laying the groundwork for sobriety maintenance. This may include things like referrals to other programs and connections with local support groups.

I was struggling with getting off opiates and decided to try to find some help since I wasn’t succeeding alone. I wanted to be completely free of all drugs, not stuck on methadone or suboxone! Dr Dadousch listened to me and created a plan for me. I’m very grateful for the help and support that is helping me to succeed. I highly recommend Embracia Health!

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

After completing some form of inpatient care, many clients transition or step down to an outpatient rehab, while some choose to transition from detox directly into outpatient care. High-intensity outpatient programming, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) is widely available for clients in early recovery, those leaving detox, and those at an elevated relapse risk. Clients in outpatient care generally engage in robust addiction counseling and recovery education, and some also receive medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Ridding the body of harmful, addictive substances, also known as detoxification, is usually the first phase of recovery. Those going through medically assisted detox can be administered medications by a team of medical professionals who are on-site 24/7 to provide different types of therapies that help mitigate withdrawal symptoms.

Treatments

Alcoholism occurs when a person becomes physically and psychologically dependent on alcohol. Attending a professional alcohol rehab in Texas can provide customized intervention methods to address the physical, mental, and relational challenges of addiction.

Substance abuse treatment is available in Texas for anyone who's struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. These programs usually provide a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plan, and include evidence-based treatments, like therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful coping strategies, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help with emotional regulation and stress.

With a co-occurring drug or alcohol addiction and a mental health disorder, you'll want to seek out a dual diagnosis treatment center. These specialized rehabs offer services to address both conditions at the same time, including 24/7 access to medical and mental health professionals. By treating both disorders at the same time, it drastically increases your chances of successful long-term recovery.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Clinical Services

The goal of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Texas is to change thought patterns, which leads to changes in behavior. Specific techniques during CBT can include self talk, SMART goals, journaling, and positive activities.

Treatment that takes a dialectical behavior therapy approach focuses on four strategies. Distress tolerance will help you accept and tolerate intense emotions. Emotional regulation will teach you to manage those emotions. Mindfulness will keep you in the present moment instead of regret or worry. Interpersonal effectiveness will teach you to manage your relationships.

Individual therapy offers you a confidential space to address the complexities of your drug or alcohol addiction. Your therapist guides these personalized sessions to help develop self awareness and manage stress. This promotes sustained sobriety and overall well being.
