This is the place for healing. I always looked forward to all my sessions with Stephen. Anytime there was anything I struggled with, he would quickly find a way to adjust on the spot. Stephen is very thorough with his explanations and made my experience a whole lot better. It felt like home, I loved the team engagement with the staff especially with the help of Irene and Rodrigo making it a great time for me. They kept me honest when doing my workouts, I appreciated that! Thank you Candace for the warm welcomes and candy! 🍬 thank you all! (YALL HIRING?? 🤣🤣)

Accepted Insurance

McCalister South Region Women works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by the entire team. They’re not only knowledgeable and patient but also take the time to truly understand your needs. It’s clear they genuinely care about your progress and well-being. Each session held the perfect balance of being challenging yet encouraging, and I could see real improvement week after week. What I especially appreciated was how they explained which muscle groups we were working on, why they mattered, and how it all tied into my personalized treatment plan. That extra effort helped me stay motivated and better understand my own body. The space itself is clean, organized, and fully equipped with everything needed to get you back on track. Huge thanks to everyone! Your support has made all the difference in my recovery. 10/10, I’d absolutely come back again… though hopefully not because of another injury! You’re truly appreciated.

I was lucky enough to work with Jose, who is an exceptional listener, when I had a sudden onset of chest pain. While I talked to my primary care physician, I didn't feel that it was something that required immediate medical intervention, so I sought out this company on glowing referrals. After describing my symptoms and my situation, he immediately came up with a proposed remedy treatment that had an immediate effect, completely removing the issue I was experiencing. To break it down, the background is that I developed an acute case of what felt like heart stress, chest pressure, and pain, whenever I was engaged in any physical activity. It didn't even have to be overly strenuous. I talked to my primary physician who ordered a slew of stress and heart tests because he was concerned that my heart may be having difficulties causing these issues. The pressure and pain in my chest would dissipate within 1 minute of non movement. But I wanted to checkwith a knowledgeable physical therapist to see if there was something less dire and more fixable. Jose immediately asked me what I did for a living. I told him that I worked on computers and spent most of my day sitting in front of a laptop. He asked me to sit down and show him my posture which I did. He then asked me if I found any remedies even partial while I tried to diagnose my condition myself. I explain that if I swallowed air and thenmyselfthat air from my stomach out the vibration actually made my chest feel less pressure and less painful. He immediately had me stand up against a wall and proceeded to push a device, not too dissimilar from the handle of a knife, in between my ribs with my arms above my head. While it was very painful, as he did this he described the situation as he saw it. My constant work in front of a laptop was causing my ribs to develop adhesions closing them tighter together and when I began exercising in earnest, my chest wished to expand to include more air flow from my lungs and room in my chest cavity for my heart to pump harder. But because of my hours spent in the seated position with my arms forward closing my ribs together, the adhesions were causing severe problems. After he performed this step, he showed me two stretching maneuvers that I could do at home and explained how they would be beneficial in opening up my ribs and chest cavity. I immediately felt my chest having less stress, it was looser and even swiveling side to side I could feel my ribs more comfortably. I immediately did a few jumping jacks and brought my heart rate up which would have normally caused me some pain, and while I felt some tightness and soreness, likely from the "knifing" lol it was exceptionally better. In the following weeks I had less and less soreness and continued with my 2x daily rib stretching exercises. Today, I am able to engage in any physical activity without any discomfort and I think if I would have just gone through my primary care physician, I would have been mired in the narrow scope provided by typical physician-oriented diagnoses and treatments. To be sure, I still went through with my stress test and other examinations through my primary physician. Those tests all confirmed that my heart was in very good shape and further reinforced that Jose quickly diagnosed my problem accurately and brought me great relief immediately. Talking to an excellent and knowledgeable physical therapist is definitely something that should be a priority one step in anybody's goal of becoming health-conscious and their own best health care advocate. He and the entire staff are incredible. I can do nothing but highly recommend this business and in particular, Jose, and in my experience I have found no better business.
