About New Journey
New Journey is a substance abuse treatment rehabilitation center in Phoenix, Arizona. They are dedicated to bringing whole-person healing to clients so that they can start a new journey in recovery. They serve adult clients.
New Journey’s staff combines a variety of evidence-based methods, including direct care and peer-led 12-Step groups, to help clients explore the causes of addiction and the development of healthy coping strategies. Services are offered on an outpatient basis.
Outpatient programs (better known as day programs) are the lowest level of care, meaning they are best suited for clients with mild symptoms and who are otherwise stable. Such clients aren’t in need of constant supervision, so they continue to live at home while visiting the treatment center on a regular basis. Outpatient programs are sometimes used as a transitional step following a higher level of care.
Treatment in outpatient programs is typically tailored to the needs of each client based on their diagnosis and personal history and experiences. New Journey’s treatment plans include counseling (individual and group) and relapse-prevention education. Clients in need of additional services may be referred to other facilities.
In network and out of network benefits may vary with any insurance plan, so clients are always encouraged to confirm their coverage before they enroll in a rehabilitation program.

Addiction Treatments
Treatments
The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.
Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.
Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
