About Oxford House – Boise
Boise of Oxford House is a men’s-only home located in Boise, Idaho. The home is self run and self supported for individuals recovering from a substance use disorder. This is especially true for men who have previously been incarcerated.
Democratically and Self Run House
The households are all run differently. The residents of the house determine how they would like their house to be run. House members are elected by the house residents to serve as officers for six-month terms.
In order for you to gain admission into the house, the residents will take it to a vote. Every house member will receive one vote.
You will need to pay a non-refundable fee if it is determined that you are allowed to move in. You will pay the same amount as your housemates when it comes to shared amenities. Rent, utilities and basic amenities will be equally split amongst everyone.
House Rules
Drugs and alcohol are not allowed. You will be immediately evicted from the house if you are caught using any substances. You are not to be disruptive and you must pay your share of expenses.

You will notice that each house has a point of contact. You are able to reach out to the point of contact to schedule an interview. When you arrive at the house, you will be interviewed by everyone in the house. You will also be able to ask them questions to determine if this house is correct for you.
