Do not put your family member here. There are some positives-facility has been updated and receptionist is always friendly. It’s clean and usually doesn’t have that nursing home smell. Hope, Monique, and Brittany are great and helpful. Food is good and there is a variety of choices. Room was usually clean but there was a dead roach under bed along with a lot of crumbs along base of wall behind bed when we moved him out. Please note that the following people that left 5 star reviews work at this facility and are in management: Ivy B, Hope H, Tracey N, and Donna S. Two have left since their review however it is very misleading for any of them to give these reviews. To make it worse PruittHealth is thanking them for their reviews. Misleading and dishonest. They are trying to boost ratings in a false way. I feel sure there are more employee reviews but we don’t know everyone’s names. This is NOT a 5 star facility. We moved our dad from here after 5 months. There is zero communication and you cannot get anyone on the phone. Called and left numerous messages over a 6 day period and no one called back. Was told they didn’t know how to work the voice mail. I can’t stress how bad communication is. The caregivers as well as current management do not have training for working with dementia patients. If they do it is minimal or they just don’t use it. They speak sarcastically and many are not kind. Caregivers told our dad many times to urinate in his Depends rather than take him to toilet. When he would ask to have his Depends changed he would be told he could urinate in it a few more times. We have found him soaked from his thighs to his shoulder blades in urine sitting in a puddle in his bed. He has been soaked other times as well but that was the worst. He has had medications added that we were not notified about even though they will tell you they are to notify of all changes. On more than one occasion we found pills on the floor in his room which means he did not get those pills. They lost almost all of our dad’s clothes within a month. Haw had the clothes he was wearing and they couldn’t find his other clothes. Social worker looked and found a few items where they weren’t supposed to be and returned to him. The facility had to reimburse us twice so we could replace his clothes as when he left clothes were also missing or ruined. Laundry takes days to get back. They have a new laundry person so maybe this has changed. Most often he had little to no clothes in his room. One day he had to wear a jacket all day with no shirt because all clothes were in laundry. Several items have been ruined due to bleach. His navy shirts are pinkish and his black pants have bleach stains. Other shirts that are new have holes in them. When we were given his meds the day we took him from facility another patients meds were given to us with his. While their names were similar this causes great concern with attention to detail. Based on our observations and experience We do not recommend this facility and I can speak for our private sitters to tell you they too would not recommend it. PruittHealth is an approximately billion dollar business and for their facilities to be run like this Is unconscionable and says a lot about how they expect the elderly to be treated. It is only a 2 star review because of general cleanliness and those people I mentioned that were always helpful and super nice.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
