However, when things got bad enough and I was willing to change, The Golden Rule taught me how to act like an adult and be responsible. In the WellStar hospitals, people have to wait three days to be sent out -- Pinewoods makes that easier, you don't have to go anywhere but Pinewoods. They are open 24/7 days a week. You also can bypass being treated like a barnyard animal, wearing scrubs and using a paper blanket to cover up with. If the nerves are bad with a Patient, the last thing they want to be is in an isolation cell, hear others screaming in the cell next door, and feel judged by the sitters and doctors. Wonderful place. I came in with nothing but a hat and a dead cellphone, wearing only hospital paper clothes. The techs made sure I had clothes and shoes when they took me home and they helped me with a 30 day supply of medicine. I learned a lot in group therapy and they made it fun. And that’s why they both have completely full caseloads!!!💥 I also want to recognize the best nurse there, Mrs Sonja and Mrs Poole does an amazing job as the Director and always goes to bat for all her patients, these women are the reason I’ve maintained sobriety.! Mrs Ernestine is the sweetest person ever I don’t know the new employees yet enough to speak on them. But we will get there Promise is the new guy and he’s super cool to. But I’ll be honest loosing Patrick and Tawanna has really made me miss my past counselors they were amazing and I still can reach out to them if I need to there amazing!! Ik so lucky I had someone like Brittany come in and be tye counselors I could lean in along with Mrs Kay I k is I can run to there office and it’s my safe place I can let out the truth about wanting to use and they always take the time to talk me down and make sure I’m 100x better than when I walked in! I’m probably the sickest one there so I k is I need a lot of attention and they go above and beyond every single time. Does clinic really help me with all of my needs for several years! And gave me so much support. I never once questioned if I had went and made the right decision by using this office. Everyone helped me feel like I could talk about anything my therapist tiffany, my nurse tammy, and Jen at the front desk are amazing! I can't say how easy the transition was and how much of a phenomenal of a job they did making me feel important. Thankfully I have completed my time at the clinic sadly I have to leave people that I have grown clothes too but I will never forget how they helped me get on the road of recovery.
