The people and staff here were amazingly support and kind. I was lucky to have an awesome roommate as well. No snoring! The other clients here definitely made it easier to acclimate because they are here for the same reason you are. I had the best case manager and therapist! Shout out to Angie and Terrance. Christian and Chris were such great speakers and I learned so much in their group therapy sessions. I would recommend this place but be advised - there is no pool no matter what anyone says.

Just left today after 30 day program..the staff were incredible and I learned alot about addiction and the long road to my recovery. Great food, medical staff and management....O.G and all. Being at Alana was a great experience for me. I had a chance to learn a lot of things about recovery and the mental aspect of what drugs and alcohol does to the body as a hole. I would definitely recommend this place to others such as myself that's trying to get their lives together. I stayed there 3 months,and I wish I was able to stay there even longer,Ms.Laura,Ms.Brenda,Colin,Chris,Cliff,and Caitlin played a big role in my recovery,these are PEOPLE THAT ILL NEVER FORGET. We were very pleased with the services received at Riverwood. My mom Elizabeth shared that the staff, especially the ladies who helped her, were kind, helpful, and made her feel comfortable during her stay prior to admission she had been experiencing aggressive behaviors, but during her time there, her medication was successfully adjusted. We were also given helpful resources to support her next steps in care. Upon discharge, she received a referral for in-home therapy, which she has already started, as well as a temporary prescription to manage her needs until she can follow up with her primary care physician.
The therapist was excellent with communication, and I truly appreciate everyone involved in her care.
