Georgia Addiction Center played a huge role in helping me turn things around. From the beginning, I felt supported by staff who were both compassionate and straightforward, which I needed. The program is well-structured and keeps you accountable, but it never feels cold or impersonal. Group sessions could be challenging at times, but they ended up being some of the most impactful parts of my experience. I built a strong foundation for recovery here and left feeling more confident in my ability to stay on track. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone serious about making a real change.

I had an amazing experience there! Shaq was amazing, Mac was amazing, and and Cody was amazing!! Also, the therapists that I had there was amazing!!! I still went thru issues after I left there because of my own choices, but I have over a year clean now!!! I even work in treatment now myself!! But I will always have gratitude for GATC and the people there who helped me along the way in my journey!!!

Words could never justify what I’ve PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED @ ARISE!!! I came in the program addicted to heroin and meth… been to prison 7 times and overdosed 7 times! However, today I’m not obsessing with any mind altering substance… not only do they offer INTENSIVE OUT PATIENT “IOP” with Top of the line counseling but also have clean housing available as well! For me personally, both were detrimental for my recovery… They hold you accountable for finding a sponsor and working the steps…If your looking for somewhere safe for your loved one or yourself to recover walk, run to ARISE…. I went to Atlanta detox from sept. 4th through sept. 26th. I was very pleased with the staff, specifically Chris, Nautica, Ms. Wanda from the nursing staff, Jada, and Kendra. ADC made the transition smooth. The meals, three times a day, helped build back up my appetite. I would recommend future clients to ADC. Job well done.

My experience at Atlanta Center for Mental Health was honestly better than I expected. I came in feeling completely overwhelmed and unsure if anything would actually help, but the staff really took the time to meet me where I was at. My therapist was thoughtful, patient, and actually listened, which made it easier to open up as time went on. The environment felt supportive and structured without being overwhelming. It wasn’t always easy, but I left feeling more stable, with real coping tools I still use. I’m genuinely grateful for the care I received here.

My husband was sent here about 2 weeks ago. He ended up staying for a week. I was very skeptical at first because how far it was away from our home and the reviews I read online. The first few days he was there were skeptical also because I couldn't talk to him but every time I called I was updated on his care. When he got better he was allowed to call me. I had a couple people at the front desk that I thought were irritated of me calling but the nurses in his unit were awesome. I thank you all for the care and compassion ya'll gave me husband for him to get better. Ya'll are truly appreciated.

When I first arrived I really felt after a few hours that I didn’t belong . At 46 u never know where god is going to places u when u asked for help but I’m Glad it did a good Service . Most of the people in these places are different with their own personalities that need a little help developing I’ll say and for me I need confirmation on who I was becoming ! Ms Laura was maybe one of the Best on Compass South ! She spreads so much spiritual and positive love to everyone and mainly treated me as an Individual and not just a pay check or a patient . The respect she showed my thoughts and feelings and help led me really see it was really nothing wrong with me then some who are worst it really helped me walk out those doors knowing I am a Devine child of God and I definitely am chosen as a special person to be a servant thru the kindness I even showed one of the residents and her name is Nun !!!! She was a loving and said she couldn’t speak much English to some but then finally told me thank you and hug 🥰 me before I left Friday they knew my spirit was genuine and real ! All of this was because Ms Laura showed me so much genuine love and time and spiritual enrichment by her words and games and bibles times lord yess those bible times and I know that that means now .. so yes she taught me a lot and gave me a lot to Stand for more then I new I had in me She was a big encouragement to how I walked out that door and the gift that she gave me I really appreciate it those. I appreciate it some of the staff some of them they need a little retouch up on Ethics and genuineness, but I think that the Ethics manager knows his name and he knows that he did an amazing job for my day and that’s all that matter to me, so I applaud Laura in the Ethics team and everybody who made me feel safeB

The Insight Program has given me a life I never thought possible. I walked through the doors hopeless. I wanted nothing more than my next drink. I had little to no relationship with peers or my family. My life had no purpose. I was convinced that nothing would be able to help me and my behavior was just who I was. I completed treatment and things started to get better. One day at a time, almost six and a half years later, my life is worth living. I own a business, am engaged, have a fantastic relationship with peers and family, am active in my recovery, and am truly happy. I cannot thank the staff and this program enough for the tools I have gained from here. I will forever recommend The Insight Program to any young people and parents in a similar situation as I was. This place made me the human being I’m supposed to be. American medical system is a scam. They don’t want to cure you, just have you coming back like a street addict. If you really want to get off a hard drugs, come here and take Bupenorphine. Start with 4 mg and go up to 12 but do not exceed 12 mg forget about methadone. It’s hell trying to get off of. Bupenorphine however is way easier to tape her off of. God bless this place and bring whomever needs help here.
