This office was a referral for me and they couldn’t have picked a better office. My first time attending there, and they was very professional and polite from the front desk to the doctor. Dr. Oglesby and his assistant was very easy to talk to and they were very attentive and knowledgeable to my health and needs. He is very through and makes sure I was given every options to what treatment plan was best suited for my care. I highly recommend this office.

I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them. In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope. People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

Here’s a polished version of a Google review you could post: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Summit Wellness is absolutely outstanding! The staff here are incredibly caring, professional, and genuinely dedicated to helping every person who walks through their doors. From the moment you arrive, you can feel how much they truly care about your well-being. They not only provide excellent care and support, but they also teach practical coping skills and offer valuable education on psychology that helps you understand yourself better and manage life’s challenges in a healthier way. I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn't feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren't just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn't forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

John my therapist helped me so much! Getting me to finally accept my mother’s death was hard, but I finally did get through it because of him! Amazing therapist! I want to add the entire team of BHT’s. They did so much for me! Andrew’s, Thomas, Kendra, Marvala, Sharla, Andre, Joe, Lorenzo, and Erica! My intake was done by Tamara who was also so amazing! Best food I’ve eaten in a while! Shout out to Miss Monica and I hate that I don’t remember the other chef but his food was also so amazing. King Dre! You are the man! All the therapists were also so amazing! Christina’s energy was incredible but scary! Haha. Just kidding. I had the best experience at ADC! If anyone at all is having substance abuse problem? You can’t go wrong at that facility! It changed me completely and I owe it all to that staff at ADC!

Newport Integrated Behavioral Healthcare provides mental health care and addiction recovery support for children, teens, and adults in Decatur, Georgia. You can find many different levels of support here, including residential detox and different types of outpatient services. They accept private pay, commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. S
Newport is a good place to Detox at. They accept most insurance and can set you up with a bed over the phone. They support MAT but I brought my own supply so I can’t speak on theirs. They gave me a 5 day benzodiazepine taper and vitamins/supplements, along with my normal meds. The intake process was simple, you get shook down a bit upon entering the clinical area, they look through your things and your person. They do a urine test, TB stick, and take blood on day 2. I would suggest bringing a weeks worth of clothing, warm stuff, pajamas, house shoes, shower shoes are a must, reading material, writing material, recovery books, you will need an extra pillow or 2, bring your own blanket and basic toiletries-they can supply hygiene items if necessary, cigarettes / tobacco, you can’t bring vapes, no phones. The bathroom was a lil nasty but the showers were clean and functional as well as private. The place is a bit dingy and old feeling overall and could use paint and decor. The bedrooms have a window and 2-3 twin beds with divider curtains between each, and 2 nightstands/shelves. You get fresh clean pillow cases, blankets, sheets, towels, washcloth. The beds aren’t great but they’re not the worst I’ve seen. You can come and go from your room to the Dayroom or nurses station as you please. There is a landline phone available during certain hours. I was there with 5-6 other folks. I had a relapse on stimulants and was admitted a few days after calling. Nurse Ginny spoke to me on the phone and she was very kind and experienced. The nurses were great, Rose was the best. The daytime started with a meal from Piccadilly, these to go plates were so-so. Some were better than others. But the portions were big. You also get a snack every night at night med call. We would then do groups, they had a good variety. Some were videos some were activity based some writing based, etc. The counselors were all nice people and qualified. The aftercare coordinator Joy that worked with me was super friendly and helpful. They can also set you up with part time classes to attend on site after you graduate detox, or send you to an inpatient residential treatment center, then halfway house. They’ll take you all the way if you put in the work, they have the connections and knowledge to help people in tons of ways. Take advantage of people like this, they live to help others. They could use a new DVD player and some DVDs and Blu rays for sure, and art supplies. Overall it’s a good place to get clean. The intake process was smooth and the place itself was solid, programs and everything. Food, beds, and the paint/decor, as well as the men’s bathroom are my only complaints. I had a room to myself the whole time I was there, and got a lot of writing and some reading done. Played some cards and watched some movies. My time there really helped me a lot in my recovery journey. I use Smart Recovery and have gotten deep into the program since leaving detox. They offer AA, NA, and other support groups as well. If you are battling addicting and need help, reach out, this is a good jumping off point. It’s all up to you.

Dr. Moseri is very knowledgeable and beyond qualified for what he is doing. My experience with him is not just for mental adjustment. He has shown to be knowledgeable as a physician as well. I thank the Most High for him. Since seeing him I have learned to manage my emotional feelings, and I am more aware of my physical health which had a great impact on my cognitive mindset. The negative comments that are on here are mind-blowing. But keep in mind, majority of the patients and or guardians of patients seeking help are in a negative space in life anyway. Trying to use negativity to charge your positive seems not to work. When you seek help, submit to what's being put before you and Yah will do the rest to help bring you out. I pray healing and well-being for us all.

This AMAZING place is honestly the best of all, hands down. From the doctor, director Jennifer, miss Holly amazing nurses especially Yolanda, and many more especially when you are recovering in recovery the amazing counselor's , such as sweet, caring, and supportive while REALLY LISTENING AND KEEPING IT REAL and making you feel comfortable and in a safe place is just a big perk in recovery. Counselor/therapist Ames. Adrienne has really helped me with so much. But I do want anyone who is reading this that knows someone or if you are struggling with addiction and ready to live a good life if you are scared to do it cold turkey or don't have the support or financial to pay for rehab or detox and all that this is the best place to do it and recovery can happen in all different forms cold turkey clinics Suboxone and it doesn't matter what you do as long as you do it and make a difference in your life and better yourself but this is the place to go and is a great option if you're open to it and ready to do it just make sure you're open ready and you want it and I encourage you that this clinic is the clinic for you or anyone if you know anyone struggling . And they also take health insurance and offer a new health insurance called ambetter that will cover all costs as well so reach out if you need to and make a change start it today. Thanks you to everyone Your clinic really has great team in every department.

Had an appointment at 2 & left at 5:45. - when calling to make an appointment, please be as thorough as possible with customer service on the line especially if you have never been in have them explained the process thoroughly. - if you have already been tested for HIV/STI’s you WILL need to be tested all over again here for their records. (Even with results from other labs) I waited until 3 for my appointment & almost walked out. The manager came out and walked me back and asked me to explain the situation. He was apologetic and I gave him feedback and let him know this could have been prevented with better customer service on the phone. (I explained that I knew it wasn’t his department nor the 2 ladies responsibilities.) the manager, nurses, and lab techs were very helpful, appreciative, and even stayed about an hour past 5 pm (when they close) to make sure I was take care of. I thank the receptionists, manager, nurse, & lab tech for ensuring the VERY long wait time was rectified and I was taken care of. If not for them, this easily would have been a 1 star review. Customer service/the call center representative (when you call) needs to be worked on if not entirely revamped.

Namely, Mr. Ulysses Johnson, Ms. Gheri, Mr. Washington, Mr. Baker, Mr. Daniel, Ms. Sonondra, Miss K, Mr. Brian Moore, Chef Moore, Chef James and Chef Jimmy are all hallmark individuals and as a unit they facilitate a transformative and incredibly supportive community that is doing amazing work addressing homelessness in Atlanta. I utilized every service for several months as I recovered from circumstances that rendered me homeless in August. They received me on the 8th, and from that day forward I didn't miss a meal, I attended programming that was engaging and developmental towards successful community re-entry. All the staff genuinely lean in every aspect of their roles to help myself and my peers. I am truly grateful because I don't know where I'd be without you all. Thank you all so much! You too JD! Almost forgot! Tim you my guy! The CLA team, thank you. Avery 🕺, you know 😂.

Decent food, showers, laundry, bed to sleep in and staff. The effort you put in through their program will corelate the results you get. Every Friday they celebrate clients progression. Be prepared to be woken up at 5:30-6:00 am. Don't miss 9 Pm bed check otherwise your stuff and yourself could be packed up and you will have to talk to Kevin the next available morning. My favorite staff member is Mr.Moore.

I would like to share my experience living at The Shepherd's Inn. I was living in my Apartment for 2 years in Atlanta.I am on Disability & was on The Ticket To Work Program.I got my Apartment thru Hope of Atlanta.I was Homeless for 5 years in Santa Monica,California prior to coming to Atlanta for work.I was working as soon as I was able to acquire housing.I had to buy clothes & food. The money the Government pays me is only $1200 per month.I moved into my apartment in 2021. I worked in 2021 &2022. My disability ended up getting Suspended because I went over the SGA amount. This happened in May of 2022. The Warehouse I was working for for 14 months went out of business. I was only making $12 per hour doing Production worker. I was not able to get another job because my cell phone was stolen. My casemanager was helping me apply for unemployment & Food stamps. The unemployment office keep telling my casemanger that we had to reapply for unemployment. We did this 2 times. He also applied for Food Stamps. I never received anything in my time of need.We had to get Rent & electric assistance. My rent & electric was paid but no food.I ended up going to jail in Gwinnet County for 3 rd Degree Forgery for 2 years. After I was released a homeless friend of mine told me about the Atlanta Mission. They have a 1 month & 6 month programs. When I did the intake I noticed that they were asking personal questions that was none of their business. They asked if I had a mental problem.I said no.They ask if I was taking medication & I said no.I just got out of jail.I did finally get to see a Doctor & get medication. If you tell them you have a mental problem you can only stay I month. Its a really great shelter compared to others I lived in.In the 6 month program you live for Free. They have a clothing closet to help you with clothes They also help you find a job &apartment.A friend of mine is in the 1 month program. He went to talk to Mrs.Kay about a extension. She said no.There is 2 things that they don't do but they should. They should gave everyone a monthly bus pass & $500 a month allowance while they are going thur the program. The staff is very professional is nice to me at all times.I am going to a better shelter in another State. It is a better program & the State has better medical services.

I arrived at Anchor based on a recommendation from a family friend, and I’m genuinely grateful for the care and attention I received. From what I observed, the facility is staffed with a readily available medical team, a generous culinary crew, and knowledgeable administrators. Even though I walked in at a very low point, I was greeted with intention and genuine care. Throughout my four-day stay, I was fed well, treated with respect, and given tools that helped me feel more prepared once I left. And while not every moment was easy — it is a mental hospital, after all — the staff consistently responded quickly and worked to make things right whenever challenges came up. My doctor, Dr. Lunceford, was attentive and truly engaged, asking thoughtful questions based on our conversations rather than just going down a checklist. Everyday we would have multiple therapy classes both outside and inside. The social workers also did a wonderful job of keeping patients informed of their rights and the facility’s processes. They reminded us that Anchor’s role was to “plant, water, and prune” so we could be better prepared for the days ahead. Overall, my experience was positive, and I’m thankful for the support I received during a difficult time. Thank you!

As an alumni of the breakthru house I can speak on them for days. This place taught me to crawl after I fell flat on my face in life. The love and support from the staff there is beyond amazing. There is an anointing on everyone that works there! You can feel it in the air the second you arrive. I was mandated there by the court so the officers delivered me to them. They would not allow me to enter still in shackles. That moment changed everything for me. I was finally free! The staff there taught me how to remain free of those shackles and I am forever grateful for the help they freely gave with no expectations in return other than my success. Everything I have now is because they took a chance on me. Thank you breakthru for being there for me!!
