A wonderful establishment. This place was a huge stepping stone in my husband s recovery. When he showed up to midway, he was a broken man, but he had an open mind and wanted better. I had always heard bad things about Pinewoods. Staying there helped save my life. In the WellStar hospitals, people have to wait three days to be sent out -- Pinewoods makes that easier, you don't have to go anywhere but Pinewoods. They are open 24/7 days a week. You also can bypass being treated like a barnyard animal, wearing scrubs and using a paper blanket to cover up with. If the nerves are bad with a Patient, the last thing they want to be is in an isolation cell, hear others screaming in the cell next door, and feel judged by the sitters and doctors. My recovery started here. Wonderful place. I came in with nothing but a hat and a dead cellphone, wearing only hospital paper clothes. The techs made sure I had clothes and shoes when they took me home and they helped me with a 30 day supply of medicine. I learned a lot in group therapy and they made it fun. Our family cannot say enough good things about The Insight Program in Tyrone, GA. Before discovering this incredible resource, we felt completely lost. Despite numerous attempts to control our child's behavior and "fix" the problem, nothing seemed to work. We sought help from various professionals, including medications and psychological counseling, but these approaches did not bring the results we desperately hoped for.What made the difference was the counselors and peers in The Insight Program. The connection our child found with others in the group, who truly understood the challenges he faced, was life-changing. The supportive, nonjudgmental environment created by the counselors and the encouragement from his peers gave him a sense of belonging and hope that he hadn't found elsewhere.For us as parents, the program for families was equally transformative. It gave us the tools and guidance to step back from trying to control or "fix" our child and instead support him on his journey to recovery. I really enjoy the front desk staff here at this clinic. They are always friendly and thorough, regardless of how busy the clinic becomes. This area is highly populated with veterans so it can be very busy, but a little patience goes a long way. I appreciate the opportunity to be served by fellow veterans working at the VA. When it comes to parking, it can be a little difficult, even with the new lot across the street. I recommend coming earlier if your appointment time is after 11 AM so that you can find a spot.

My husband is patient, we were told to take him to ER last week sat there or 8hrs all they did was give him something like Tylenol extra strength and some patches to use for muscle spamming. They took xrays and CT scan said they didn't see any blood clots. Drew blood and sent him home. They also told us to make followup appt with primary care Dr at clinic. Took him to see Dr appt today and we have to go back tomorrow to get more blood work. My husband is a very active person and for the last month he can't sleep and ever joint and muscle in his body is putting him in so much pain. Just trying to get up and down or ride in truck is making it worse. Just want to see him get back to normal. Hopefully they will be able to help him. Other wise I will try and get appt with different Drs.

My relative had great success here! The staff is super nice and very helpful. Comfort, Marissa, Dr. Jill Smith and others were really friendly and compassionate and they were able to adjust my relatives medications and the new meds are working much better. So give Riverwoods a chance. My relative is very nice and pleasant and isn't a mean person to the staff, so perhaps that helps too. Compared to other Behavioral Health places in Metro Atlanta, my relative said they were the best! Ended up at Riverwoods because closer hospitals were full and this was the closest place that had an open bed. The phone receiptionists are very nice too. They are busy with emergencies, so be patient and know they are doing their best...best of luck on your visit. Hope they can help you too!

I ve been going for over 6 years now and as long as you play nice and jump thru the hoop like a trained animal and is well. If anything the service has gotten better due to another company coming in and buying it. Also the price of the methadone hasn t change since I started coming idk if that s normally how it works. But they did make us stop paying for the monthly drug test. I have no problems in here at all.

This is the place I first went to when I made it known my struggles with mental health. My mother found the closest place, via recommendation from a school counselor, and I have been with them since 2020 I believe. I have since become clean from many self harming behaviors, as well as went into therapy which has helped me so much. I absolutely love Natalie the therapist, she is such a good therapist and I enjoy talking to her even if it s just about random things sometimes instead of therapy. My psychiatrist has had her moments, and I m on the edge about switching honestly, but regardless she has helped me get onto some of the right medications and has tried her best to keep me up to date with bloodwork to check for any major concerns regarding my medication. And I appreciate her efforts to help me. I ve switched through nurses about twice, but my new nurse Dale is wonderful. She s gentle when taking blood, which is wonderful since I m prone to passing out!! And she is funny, she has a very uplifting personality from what I can tell. Overall, I am pleased with this establishment. 10/10 on almost all aspects.

The staff was funny and understanding and could relate to the kids. but when i was there there was this lil girl that liked to try people then he had to have a set down on how to be better role models for the kids. Over all its a good place and some of the food is good.

I had the unwilling honor to spend Memorial weekend at Crescent Pines and I can't say I COMPLETELY wanted to be there; but I have to say, it actually really isn't a bad place! The staff is really nice and helpful. It was my first time in a place like this and it was absolutely not like anything seen on TV. We had three meals throughout the day and even a snack in the evening. If you didn't need medication they didn't force it down your throat. People don't walk around like zombies and really express themselves when they feel like it. If you're a smoker, they give you smoke breaks. You can't go out whenever you want but at least they allow you to have them. If you do what you're suppose to do, meaning; not showing out and actually following the rules, your time there will go by smoothly. The only downside is not being able to go to your room throughout the day. Like if you're tired, you would have to stay out in the community room and find a place to nap. You don't necessarily have to make friends but its helpful finding people you could pass the time with.
