She completed her doctorate in 2018 in Industrial and Organizational Psychology to contribute to the improvement of accessibility and delivery of health care services. She is an experienced administrator and provider of direct patient care. Her background in Art Therapy has developed her artistic interests. She has authored bible studies for those newly in recovery from substance use disorders as well as professional articles for publication. She loves her dogs and the rewilding of garden spaces. She moved to Kansas to be closer to her grandchildren and to continue working in the field of substance abuse treatment.
