About Haven
Haven is a residential addiction treatment home for women in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They’ve been in the same location for more than five centuries and they’ve cemented their position as a local leader in substance use disorder treatment. They’re a spiritual provider that focuses on helping you grow your faith as you learn how to resist the pull of drugs and alcohol.
One of the most special things about this facility is its gorgeous setting. You’ll stay in a stunning mansion that overlooks the peaceful Arkansas river as you learn tools to help you build a life of sobriety. You’ll stay on site for six weeks to complete the program. During that time, you’ll work closely with a mentor, attend educational classes, work on chores, exercise and become integrated in the local recovery community. They follow the 12 step model of recovery so you can expect to attend peer based meetings, too.
Something neat is that the staff here is entirely female. Your days will be structured around a set schedule of activities designed to introduce you to a newer, higher way of thinking. Everyone on the team is also in recovery so they know firsthand what you’re experiencing.
The cost is $300 for the six weeks but take heart. You won’t be turned away if you can’t pay. If you have a desire to change and want to participate then they’ll find a way to help you cover the cost of treatment.

Treatments
Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
Clinical Services
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
