I've been employed with Grand Mental Health for about 4 years. I've worked outpatient in Claremore, and now crisis in Pryor. It's a unique place to work with so many caring people with lots of recovery stories themselves and hearts that understand. I never see job postings in Afton, OK though? Is it only outpatient? I've been thinking about moving to that area, and wondered about a possible transfer to this clinic? But never see any jobs posted for this area... Just curious.

My son has been suffering from severe mental issues for the past 3 years. None of the “professional” help I’ve sought out helped until I took him to GLMHC. They gave him the counselling and medication needed to overcome many of his problems. It’s still a work in progress, but he’s much better now. Just wanted to say thank you to the GLMHC team!

Horrible place that hides information from you. Family members and staff never communicate. Nurses over medicated or confused meds. The staff is only there for a paycheck, they have no desire to actually help people. Therapists do not provide effective therapy. Us patients aren't provided with hygiene kits at night. Supervision is nonexistent in this place

This is a review for a wonderful Lady, Jessie Russell, contract health. Jessie, is on top of things. I never have to worry, getting my referral’s & she has hit the ball out of the park. The surgeon’s she made sure was very good at their job before sending anywhere. I am 4 surgies down since December 16, 2024. Everything goes so smooth when she is the one taking care of me💕 she does what she says she will do. Jessie, is definitely a huge asset for Cherokee Nation-Vinita Clinic. I came into the outpatient area of the hospital today to have my very first mammogram ever. The lady, and I so apologize that I cannot remember her name, because she was fantastic, was absolutely a pro! She put me at ease, she explained everything as she was doing it and before she did it, she was very quick, but thorough, and just made that experience a piece of cake! I highly recommend if anyone has been putting off a mammogram to make an appointment at Saint Francis in Vinita! You will not regret that decision!

Just a few weeks ago I had to take a trip to the ER because I thought I had vertigo. I went to a different ER first and they let me lay there an hour and a half in massive pain so I went back home. By 9:30 that night I couldn't move my entire right side. I couldn't stand upright without falling over. So I had a friend of mine take me to St Francis ER. I cannot remember the attending Dr's last name, Brian was his first name. He was right on his game, there was no wait time, and he had to have known exactly what was wrong because he gave me the right scans and tests and found a cancerous tumor in my brain. As soon as he got a chance He called and located a neurosurgeon at Tulsa hospital and had a room ready for me before I even left the ER. He and his staff I am eternally grateful to. The security guard that was on duty that night was also extremely helpful and concerned. I've never been more impressed. I had my brain surgery 4 days ago so tumor free now. Thank you Dr Brian I truly appreciate you and your staff. God Bless you

Royal oaks was by far the worst place to send someone with a crisis I went there because l I was suicidal and all they did was over medicated me and basically just did everything in their power to make sure I didn’t get better I would write down my fellings in a notebook and they threatened to call the cops like I was suicidal and all they were concerned about was my political beliefs they lied about me getting into fights although some skinny bowled haired wimp went at me and I was sitting in a chair and the staff actually had to get in front of him they just spewed out psychiatrist formalities and just kept telling me to take my medication although that was making my depression worse please I implore anyone thinking about going don’t unless you want to come out bitter and hating of society because they don’t treat you like you are going through something they just care about completing their shifts and The psychiatrist are just worried about saying as much bullshit as possible and calling that therapy

I have been here 2 times. And I got the help I needed. The staff are great. The nurses and doctors are also great thank you cam,kayla,jazzmyn and Natalie and a whole bunch others. I would recommend to anyone needing help. 10/10 for me. The food here is so good they even have special diets for kids that need them. Thank you so much for the help you guys gave me.

I voluntarily went in for detox to begin my journey to recovery. I was very observant during my treatment, I read all the reviews before hand and they made me nervous about going. But I took a leap of faith and went for it, I’m ready to start my next chapter!
Is everything perfect, no. But the staff (ALL of them) were very kind and accommodating during my three days there. Is it a 5 Star resort, not even close. If you go in with a good attitude, and simply be kind and courteous, I believe you’ll see quickly what I did. It’s just the beginning of the journey, not the final destination.

The people here are absolutely amazing. They don't badger you when you go in and you haven't paid your bill in a couple of months, they don't prescribe a ton of drugs and keep you all jacked up all day. They want you to functioning adult's and shekinah is amazing. She is so helpful with trying to get a schedule that you can work with and very easy to get along with.

I would use this hospital for rehab for my loved ones over and over. It is clean, very well maintained and ALL the staff is wonderful! Dr J has been such a blessing and is wonderful to my grandma. She doesn't just come in once a day but numerous times to see how she is. Every single nurse and nurse tech has been so compassionate and does their job so well. They don't run loved ones off as long as they are quiet and respectful and allow someone to stay over night with their loved one. My family is very impressed with everything!

I would give Dr J & the whole staff at Freeman East Rehab 10 stars! We are so grateful for the compassion, support, time and encouragement each and every person has given my mother this past week. Our lives changed so suddenly after she suffered a brain tumor and I truly wish no one had to go through this but after a craniotomy at Barnes we feel very fortunate to have such a nice rehab close to her family and home! We are so impressed with Dr J. She has spent countless hrs evaluating, answering our questions and literally holding Mom’s hand. The nursing staff has been phenomenal. The therapists have gone above and beyond helping her, dietary and housekeeping have as well.
