I've been employed with Grand Mental Health for about 4 years. I've worked outpatient in Claremore, and now crisis in Pryor. It's a unique place to work with so many caring people with lots of recovery stories themselves and hearts that understand. I never see job postings in Afton, OK though? Is it only outpatient? I've been thinking about moving to that area, and wondered about a possible transfer to this clinic? But never see any jobs posted for this area... Just curious.

My son has been suffering from severe mental issues for the past 3 years. None of the “professional” help I’ve sought out helped until I took him to GLMHC. They gave him the counselling and medication needed to overcome many of his problems. It’s still a work in progress, but he’s much better now. Just wanted to say thank you to the GLMHC team!

Best most through eye exam I have ever had and I've been in glasses since I was 10. So relaxing I was falling asleep. The most helpful when picking out frames. I got down many frames and they didn't even seem to mind, super nice and helpful. They called yesterday to tell me my glasses are in. 12 days. Far cry from 6- 8 weeks!!! They got their ducks in a row. Can't wait to pick them up my new glasses with the no glare tint and anti-scratch coating.

I love this clinic! Dr Kirk is the most caring doctor I have ever had anywhere. The dentist department is super also. Kory Andrews is the best! My teeth always feel so clean after being cleaned by her. Thank you to the entire facility!

I moved to GROVE in November and did not establish a primary care yet, but I was sick about three weeks ago with whatever it is it’s going around. I called the VINITA clinic sincr they’re larger. They said they had no idea if they could get me in even though I would come as a walk-in, they said they usually just take established patients Which can take a month or more. I call Jay. They got me right in that day. The doctor I saw was wonderful. He acted like he had all the time in the world. He explained things really well and I probably did not have to wait over 10 minutes to see him

This place has seriously changed my life. I never imagined I would find an outpatient program that would truly be effective but this place doesnt just want to give you medicine and send you on your way they want to change your negative behaviors and encourage long term sobriety by giving you tools and resources on how to do so. The staff has seriously went above and beyond to help me in any way possible and they have given me so many resources and are so eager to help it brings tears to my eyes. Every staff member greets me by my name even if I don’t know who they are and they all seem to want to work there to help people. The program itself is better than any rehab i have been to and I actually look forward to coming and doing the groups.Thank you to all Quapaw counseling staff!!

I was here when I was 15, and I have to say it was the best place I had ever been sent to and back then I had been sent to a lot of places. The staff was amazing way back then, now granted I had escaped twice B4 I realized it wasn't so bad, an I made the transition from willow Crest to moccasin bend. Out of the whole time I was there I only had 1 fight and that was when I got to the ranch. And on of the most awesome people I met there at the time. Was Gracie Garcia or it was Gracie Garlic. I remember very little but what I do the experience was good unless I myself went down and had to go back to Willow Crest but the staff were nice and helpful and I am thankful to them for helping me. I am 41 now and have kids and they are 20 and 21 and they absolutely love me as their mom. I am proud to have been able to get better so I could be a good mother for my kids so thank you for helping me

I live alone and am old 75...am new to OK....not yet found good health care...but I had an asthma attack...recently...had not been able to get my brand name asthma meds locally...except recently pharmacy staff at walmart spent many hours...personal time..and they got my asthma meds !!!! When every other local pharmacy didn't even try.... But...I could only afford 1 month...I had been without 4 yrs....so 30 days was not enough....ona Sat. Morning...I could not find 1 rescue inhaler!! That's panic to asthma sufferers...I called ER...they treated me great...not like a sick old lady...saw I was hyper anxious..making it all worse.. They gave me a comforting treatment with cool steroids...I could breathe....AND they gave me a rescue inhaler...giving me time to try to refill my script...

If you've come across this, It's probably fair to say, Life hasn't been a walk in the park lately, And you're looking at possible options to get help. You might be asking yourself, Is MAT right for me? I always tell people, If you have tried other programs, And treatments that have not worked for you, Then MAT is probably for you. The great thing is, BHG has an amazing staff, From Doctors, Nurses, And counselors, That can talk with you, Answer all of your questions, So you can make an informed decision. If you feel this is a good fit for you, The staff are there to help you navigate through the process, And get you on the road to recovery. I love that they make you a part of the game plan, While creating a treatment plan designed to fit each person's specific needs. At this point, You're probably just desperate to have some normalcy back in your life, And probably struggle to remember what life was like "Before". If you've read this, Please do yourself a favor, And pick up the phone and call them, It may be the most important call you ever make, Help is available!! Nobody is going to judge you, Or look down on you, The entire staff is there to help! I love my counselor, And he's available to me any time I need, Not just during normal buisness hours. Not sure why all the bad reviews. Probably just people that need to learn to be grateful. But who knows!? Anyway, this place is great. Everyone is friendly. If there are issues they work to resolve them. I've never been able to get this much help all in one place. This organization is truly a blessing that I'm immensely grateful for. I'd recommend them to anyone that's struggling with anything.

I cannot comment on the actual services provided by this agency. However, I have called and spoken with the front desk in regards to clients already receiving services. Every time I call to request information, I am greeted by warm staff who are pleasant to speak with and provide excellent assistance to whatever my inquiry was. I have never had a negative experience with the front desk staff at this agency.

I have been all over The United States trying to find good crisis and mental health care for my loved ones. (For years now.) The crisis unit in Jay, the staff, therapists, doctor or doctors, case workers, after care, are the very best. They should be funded to the max and expanded to teach other care givers in this Country, how to help people who suffer with mental illness. I just hope they never change!

Words can not express my appreciation to CAAIR. I had sent my grandson to military schools, at least 3, 30 day rehap programs nothing has worked. He has been in and out of trouble with law Enforcement and was not sure what to do. Drugs had consumed his life and I was at a lost what to do. I was not sure I’d one day I would find him dead. By pure chance I came across The CAAIR Program. After speaking with them, they reached out to him and he decided it was time to get help. My grandson loved this place. Never once did he call and want come home. It was not easy for him but he adjust and just finished one year program. His choice was to remain at CAAiR in transition program, continue working. I’m so thankful for CAAIR for returning my grandson to me. He went in as a child and came out a man and understand he does not want that life again.
