The whole crew ( Betty, Tammy, Crystal and Dr. Perez) is very respectful and understanding even when some of us can be a little moody as we go in there. I can assure you that they will do everything in their power that the VA says they can do for you and if they don't, then you probably messed up somewhere. I've been assigned to this clinic for less than a year. I've tried to use the facility on 2 different occasions, both times they refused to see me and told me to go to urgent care. What is the purpose of this clinic? I guess they only do yearly exams.

Went here for a strangulated hernia (had one before so I know what it is) and the Dr checked me for an inguinal hernia. She said there was nothing wrong and next time I have any discomfort or pain to go to the ER. Altus has a terrible record of disrespecting veterans and taking advantage of the military stationed at AAFB. The locals in this city should be ashamed of themselves

I’m meeting them in the middle, my family has had both good and bad experiences. Different providers, different experiences. I have had a bad experience in the urgent care one time, it was close to time for them to leave. The provider had an attitude and treated me like I was annoying for being there. I ended up going to the ER. My son has ADHD and when we moved here from Ny drs flat out refused to give him his meds he was on for years and flipped his whole world upside down, which was annoying. The one provider in the led clinic is awkward, not bad just awkward and straight to the point. His behavioral health nurse practitioner is very nice lady, I don’t always agree with her but she listens. The neurologist I saw on base was nice, quick to hear me and get me out of the door. It’s mostly the receptionists at the clinics that aren’t friendly or welcoming. They always look miserable, and the first impression you get is everyone here is miserable. The ladies in the lab were friendly and quick. My PA, is friendly and always listens to my concerns, if he can’t answer them he happily gives me a referral out. Now the referral process is another thing…. Pain in the rear!!

Fairly easy to take drug test there. However they may expect to help get you dressed, that is rude and uncalled for. On the other side where they have "treatment" arguing cause them to lie or take a agessive run at you.

So this place is not great but the only reason I am rating is this high is the nurse or doctor I’m not sure that saw me this morning Mendy Corter! She helped me so much I was seen Friday and they basically just brushed me aside did no testing didn’t even check my bp. Didn’t do a chest X-ray nothing.. well I went back today because I wasn’t any better and turns out I have pneumonia my lungs and trashed and she was mad that the last doc that saw me didn’t bother to check me out! Well 2 breathing treatments and two shots in my butt later and they had me feeling a little better sent me home with so antibiotics and an inhaler to make sure I got better!! Thank you so much Mendy Corter you helped make me feel better and didn’t make me feel like I was overreacting and being dramatic!

I came here for my recovery, and at first I would say that I didnt like it, but that was making excuses for myself. But I stayed and graduated, this place tought me to learn patience and roll with changes that can come up in real life and not have to turn to drugs. Now im a peerlead helping others in the community to see the bright side of things and fight those urges we all get. This is hard thing to do alone, but if u build a community it becomes easier. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Valley Hope has changed my life. I went from isolation in a motel room doing drugs, to being a productive citizen. I’ve been sober 54 days today and a huge part is because of Valley Hope. A family member recently completed the recovery program at Country Road Recovery Center, and I cannot say enough good things about them. He had dealt with addiction for many years. In terms of being in the program, he recently said "It was the best things I've ever done and I wish I had done it sooner". When he completed the program, they helped him with placement in a sober living house and arranged for his attendance in an intensive outpatient program. They care about their patients. I went to dove tree, in Lubbock, Tx broken and very lost. Mentally, emotionally, and physically lost. They helped me get back on my feet again and have helped me gain more confidence in myself. There’s a lot of the staff that I’m very grateful for, but Josh Toney and Lex helped me out so much. I finally feel as though I’m finding myself again, and have been able to finally find my course in life and what I’m supposed to be doing. I give thanks to these two and am so very grateful for them.

I love the ranch I had been there twice and it saved my life I meet some of the best people that I ever had in my life there there will always be that love that I have when I remember the staff the fun the peers it’s the best rehab in Texas love you all
