Been to here a few times. Been treated good. Doctors seem friendly and more caring then most hospitals you go to. Dont mind going here when there is a emergency.

Needed assistance for my father in law to get his heart medicine after he moved, I was immediately helped and they acted quickly to get his meds over nighted with refills.Jennifer was awesome in giving her time and effort to make this happen!

I retired from Ft Sill and stayed in Lawton for 2 years after I retired from 2021-2023. Moved to Dallas then I realized I spoiled I were from Lawton. Ft. Sill is not bad at all. I miss this hospital

I'm a retired combat arms 1SG with 21 years of service and can tell everyone that this is one of the best VA Clinics I have ever been to. The staff is very helpful, professional and caring and will bend over backwards to help you with any medical issues / questions you may have. I recently saw DR. Dollarhite, Shane DE audiology for my hearing exam and was diagnosed with hearing loss and tinnitus. With his help, I was approved for hearing aids. Audiology Tech, Krystal Ross did the fitting and ordered the hearing aids for me. Once they came in Dr. April Killman activated them and fully explained everything I needed to know in full detail (Very Professional). From one Veteran to Another, please treat these professional with the utmost respect. One happy veteran :)

I am very pleased with the service and care I receive at this VA clinic. I have found everyone to be helpful, friendly and competent. The facility is clean, organized, maintained and up to date.

The ladies that work the front desk and answer the endless calls all day long should be givin a serious raise for having to put up with all the grumpy pissed off old vets that call up there expecting Miracles. The people giving them negative reviews just have no idea of how lucky we are that any of them stay there and put up with us. So give them a break.

I've been going to the Altus BA Clinic for a few years now. The staff are very attentive people and the Medical Doctor is polite and professional. I am pleased to have only a short drive from my residence to access health care at the Clinic...!!

The whole crew ( Betty, Tammy, Crystal and Dr. Perez) is very respectful and understanding even when some of us can be a little moody as we go in there. I can assure you that they will do everything in their power that the VA says they can do for you and if they don't, then you probably messed up somewhere. Pro Tip respect and a smile will get far here.

Jim Taliaferro is the #1 best Mental Health service I've ever had in my life! No joke whatsoever! Very amazing and caring Staff and Doctors! I mostly go to the one in Altus for Dr. follow-up's, case management, and rehab, and they are very amazing, and caring! I highly recommend them!

The staff is really nice, but you do not want to be in that building on a humid day. It's way too hot.

Folks here are very friendly and helpful. Everyone had a smile and said hello. If you got a few screws loose I definitely recommend the people.

I love all the nurses that have come to my home. They have taken great care of me and have gone above and beyond many times. They are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I look forward to their visits. You can tell that they genuinely love their jobs and care for their patients.

I ve used them many time with my dad. We ve always been very impressed with their care. We will continue to use this service for future needs. Very professional and thorough nurses.

You know. I was here along time ago. Back in may 2023 when I was 13. And I ll tell y my it felt like home. I mean some people were acting up. Most of the staff are nice like Mr Morice(I think thats his name) The food was consumable so it was good. You had a lot of time on your hands. Wasn t to boring. And the night time staff Mr James was so cool and nice. I felt comfortable talking about my feelings and emotions. As long as you did what you did what you re supposed to, you ll be okay. This place is a real good place when I went. It just matters on new staff and new patients.It also brings back so much memories. If I could go back I would but nah.Anyways thanks for listening- Davian

i personally got sent there, in adolescence unit and my experience really changes me and how my point of view of life is. the staff was amazing and treated the teens amazing no matter how stubborn we were. if you are in need of seeking help i 100% recommend this place.

Adult UnitNobody likes to be taken into inpatient care.I know this, as someone who has been taken into inpatient care twice now.But, after the first initial day of shock, homesickness and anxiety- you begin to realize why you're here to begin with.And that is because you need help.I had a pleasant experience, despite the grossness of my room's bathroom and the one snotty nurse who talked about patients as if we were animals.Food was fantastic and the other nurses were phenomenal.Groups were decent yet repetitive and verbal- not many hands on activities.It was deathly boring, but I wasn't there to be entertained- I was there to be medicated correctly and taken care of.Overall, it helped me, and I hope it helps you.Adult unit deserves so much more love than its been getting from the company as its very shabby, and it makes the stay awful for its patients.

I love the amazing staff at Helen Farabee. They are there because they care and want to make a positive change. Each and every one of them is wonderful in their own unique way. They all bring so much to the table! I had the great pleasure of having Dr.Crane as my Psychiatrist. Dr. Crane is an excellent doctor and he really took the time and care to find the best solution for me as an individual and something that would fit best for my life while taking my physical health into account as well. He is very personable and kind and professional. Helen Farabee is definitely so blessed to have him as well as the rest of everyone who works there. This place is spectacular! I Love You All!

Dr Crane is very good to me and is helping me though some tough times,I really appreciate how he takes the time to listen,I wish I could see him in person and not on camera which was kinda weird for me at first. I struggle every day with depression,anxiety and panic attacks and I am a work in progress and works well with all issues

Called to confirm appointment. Was told 3pm. Showed up at 2:50, checked in, and waited for 25 minutes. Then they called me to the front, and told me it was for 2pm, and the nurse had already left. I waited almost 3 months for this appointment and took off work. They said they called twice and left a message and confirmed my number to us. When I got home, I looked through all messages, including deleted ones, and they never called.Update: bumped one star because they called and put an alert out for next availabilityUpdate: since that day they have been really great with me. Perhaps they just had a bad day. Bumped 1 star.
