I’m writing this review as it has been 6 months and 1 day since a small group of family and indirect supporters led me to Enterhealth after months of isolating with Tito’s was followed by years of binge drinking and drinking throughout the day, to get through the day.
Everyone’s journey in sobriety is different and people take away different things from recovery. This is my 2nd time to go to treatment and it has been completely different than my 1st time. I feel like Enterhealth not only “got me sober”, but they helped me battle this by addressing my physical health, my strengths and weaknesses as well as my mental health. I also feel like I was given the freedom to be in charge of my own recovery plan. Physical and mental health were important to me and they allowed me to dive into that. I’m also not religious so I was much more receptive to their curriculum on the disease instead of just praying it into remission with AA. (Although they do offer AA based groups).
Other things such as the community, the food, the privacy of your own cabin, the routine and the amenities are all major perks that help you focus on your treatment.
I will say, this place is a major investment. I would be wary if your loved one is resistant to change. I feel like Enterhealth is a huge gift. I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to embrace a better life and is ready to work for it. 💜

Laura Auldridge was especially instrumental in my healing with her knowledge, compassion and humanity. This VA Hospital is unique in that it actually does the job it was designed to do. The treatment of wounded veterans which they do absolutely excellent. the staff is always on point and helpful the only draw back here is services are limited you get seen right away but some specialties arnt staffed requiring community referrals. that's where the ball falls most referrals are completed quickly some drag on. overall the treatment of injured veterans is excellent. being in the VA system over 20 years I've seen some horror stories ie; Hampton the worst VA hospital ever. if your in the treatment area of VAMC Amarillo you're in for a pleasant surprise.

My husband has been being given the wrong medications for a few years by Granbury mhmr. We found out the hard way by that I mean he really lost it mentally. He was signed into a psychic ward that had nothing to do with mhmr finally. They immediately realized he has been given the wrong medications for his diagnosis. He had basically been crying out for help this entire time and it basically fell in deaf ears. They didn't really care either. Seems like he was just a crazy person to them and there eyes would just glazed over. Finally successfully he's on the right medications now. I recommend avoiding this clinic altogether if you can. God bless each and everyone battling mental illness 🙏

I was here in a short stay in July-september of 2020. Under COVID it was frustrating and very very diluted. It's a co-ed facility and they do NOT allow fraternizing. But yet I have met my partner for life. We do not recommend to take the chances and risks involved but man I'm happy we did. We credit, Cindy, Wycliffe, Ali, Annie, and the other staff members there. Without their strict policing we probably wouldn't have been so strong today.

I just got home from inpatient with Carrollton springs and I loved it, as much as I could with it being a mental health facility. Everyone was so nice and I really got the help I needed. The therapist Nitten Khana was absolutely amazing. The reason for the 4 stars though is just the disorganization of admin here. It wasn’t great. Other than that though I would highly recommend this facility

I came here broken, not just from the bottle but from war too. The staff knew how to handle PTSD, not just the addiction part. EMDR helped me more than I expected. I did wish they had more vet-specific groups. Still, they showed real care.

I been going here for 4 years and my counselor Kay is amazing very easy to talk to very nice lady. The staff is nice and very friendly this is a good place to get your life stable then find a plan to get clean off everything.

This is my second go around with receiving treatment from the Brentwood stair clinic, and each time has been more than pleasant. I absolutely love this clinic, and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone out there struggling with addiction. It work for me the first time, and I know it will work for me this time!! I drive from Burleson specifically to this clinic because I like it way better than their mccart clinic, or other clinic in fort worth. I always feel at home here, Angela at the front desk is fantastic in every way possible, the counselors are amazing, nurse staff always listen to what my needs are and make it happen, the doctor is phenomenal, and overall this clinic has changed my life once, and I know it will change my life for the best once again, as I can already tell since I have only been back for a little over a month now, and I have been clean the whole time, thanks to methadone and the clinic and staff who make the clinic work so well. Thank you for helping me get my life back on track!! God does bless this Brentwood stair clinic.

I am contactng an attorney and filing a complaint with the State - they forged documents to try to admit me into inpatient, I was abused, injured but escaped while being isolated in the wings between inpatient and outpatient. Abuse, neglect, forgery this place only cares abouts money and not about helping people. They need to be held responsible and sued for malpractice!
