Great staff... Usually a quick in/out for appointments. The VA Clinic isn't open on weekends or Federal Holidays. Relatively simple to seek care outside of normal hours from local urgent care or ER facilities and report it to VA.

Pre-op has to be the friendliness and caring staff at the hospital. They answer any concerns without you feeling like a baby. They make you smile, no matter how nervous you may be. Thank you for all you do. You can tell easily it's more than just a job to them. My favorites are TV, Trey and Amanda. There's several others, but these are the ones who always go above and beyond. I love shopping at the Super Thrift. The gentleman that work there are kind . I can see the hope in their eyes and in the way they present themselves. Recovery and healing can be overwhelming but they walk in hope and it’s evident. I grew up in Compton, California, searching for acceptance and belonging. I found it in the gang lifestyle, living as a gangbanger and hustler. Went to the EMERGENCY Department via ambulance. The staff at the hospital was very kind and listened to my concerns and I was out in less than 3 hours. The only “issue” I had with the whole process was the doctor on duty had an attitude. He did not have compassion for me. I went in thinking I was having a stroke and he acted like I was a drug seeker.. which is not the case at all.

I am truly thankful for the Serenity Center in Plainview. The program helped me with hurts and hangups that I carried from my addiction. I am more confident in my recovery emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The staff treated my daughter and I with the upmost respect and loved US every step of the 90 days. If you are a struggling mother they offer a women's and children's program, THAT WORKS! Thank you with all my heart. I now have a stronger bond with my family and children. I come here due to the great care and diversity because as a Black male, I want to ensure that I am treated properly. Dr. Gregory, as a white male in his 5th year of training, ensured just that. He did a phenomenal job with the procedure, explanation, and treatment of me; and I am thankful for his treatmemt, and the team that surrounded him to ensure that everything went smoothly.
