The specialty clinic is clean, and as of this post, wait times for scheduled appointments are very minimal.
Great staff and veteran service.
As far as the windows where the clerks are, I feel the computers should not block the view between clerk and veteran (very rude).
Also, when at the clerks windows, there should be a "pull ticket paper number" and a diisplay showing what window the veteran should proceed to.
The ckerks fo a great job assisting veterans.
As a veteran and Google reviewer, I highly recommend the South Enterprize VA clinic.

I just want to share ,that when my granddaughter alicia osterhoudt went to this place she loved it there because everyone was so loveable and friendly, i got to meet mr henry on the phone when I explained to him my Situation about my granddaughter, how she was abusing drugs, he knew all about it. It gave me a little testimony praise God. He helped me get my granddaughter in the was so understandable. Very nice to this day.
I still remember Mr. Henry. It's Li can hear his vowhen, he says.

DeTar Imaging Center--zero stars if I could!
I arrived ½hour early as told. It took over an hour to be called to fill out my paperwork. Another ¾hour passed and I inquired how much longer it would be because I had another appt at 4pm. The clerk went to check. I overheard the tech in the back state it's 2:05 and we had others ahead of her. This was a lie! It was already 2:21 by my phone and their clock. The clerk came back and told me I would not make it to my next appt as my tests would take 2hours and would be another ½hour before I could be seen.
So, the appt time means nothing. The wait time was the length of my tests. No one came out to even be courteous enough to tell me they were running way behind.
I walked out and rescheduled at a different facility.

Was told by a doctor that I’d be sent home after going in. I won’t post my personal reasons on why I was there, but I called next day on some questions about the medication because I ended up starting to go into anaphylactic reaction, I got told that they know what “I am doing and up too” and said goodbye and hung up. So I called pharmacist and was instructed that because I am now getting worse and having a reaction, I need to go to citizens instead. So I waisted my time going to Detar North. Now I have been in two different hospitals.

Ok so I have to say that I was at first skeptical of the services that are being offered here, and I put alot of value on my peace of mind over most everything else. Well there is no other place that can offer you ample amount of time for sleep and relaxation. The classes they offer are sure to have you asleep and fully rested before you leave this fine educational institution. I can literally lose out on sleep at my house, come to class, and take a load off and go right to sleep like nobodies business, this program works if your looking for a creative way to get a few extra hours of restful sleep say if you have a partner who snores and keeps you up 💁🏻♂️ They sometimes have punch and donuts which at first come off sort of Jonestown'ish but no complaints I mean I'm still here unfortunately. The ladies are extremely nice at least to me..I would have given it a 5 star review but they don't have any fitness center available for us, no weight systems and we can't control the TV ever. We never get to talk about the significance of the teachings of Jesus Christ ever but I think would be of great importance if we did thats just my personal opinion. ..

I've been to over a dozen different treatment facilities in my lifetime. They all had similar approaches. Treatment associates has an unorthodox style that only a small sliver of the population would actually benefit from. If you don't benefit from treatment there, then YOU are the problem, not the drugs or alcohol.

I have not yet been to the new clinic so i can not evaluate that at this time. However, this review is based on NP Laurie Collis alone. She is indeed the very best. Most VA providers should take a page from her book!! I have been in the VA system for over two decades and she is the best provider I have ever had at the VA.

Words could never express my appreciation for the team at La Hacienda. The buildings are older than I expected, but the love and treatment there is state of the art. The time spent there will put you or your love one on the right track to the life you are seeking. The family program is not easy, but plays a huge role in success. Choosing La Hacienda Treatment Center was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for by every single staff member, from the doctors and counselors to the housekeepers, interns, and chefs. Their compassion and dedication to each individual’s recovery is evident in everything they do.
The medical care was exceptional, and the peaceful, serene environment provided the space I needed to truly heal. From the pool and fitness classes to the art room and beautiful ground, they have created a nurturing and restorative experience.
La Hacienda helped me in ways I could not help myself, and for that, I will be forever grateful. I left with not only a renewed sense of self, but also lifelong friendships.

I had little to no hope before coming to Kemah Palms Recovery. I had just spent 8 days at a med-center hospital after a suicide attempt and they wouldn't discharge me unless it was to a rehab. Kemah Palms was actually my 6th rehab in the past year and a half. It was the first one I actually finished. I had left against medical advice at all the others. I was on a tremendous downward spiral with so much momentum that there was no stopping this fall. I was coping with the pressures of a recent divorce and spending the last two plus years fighting for my son's life who had had 4 open heart surgeries and 3 brain surgeries amongst many others. That was in addition to life's other traumas and pressures. I am dual diagnosed and my PTSD is so extreme it doesn't usually allow me to deal with situations of chaos and high stress. The team at Kemah Palms developed a treatment plan just for me and weren't so legalistic with the rules that I couldn't make it through there, but also had enough order that it was a safe environment. Earlier in this review I mentioned this being the first rehab I finished. That begs the question "what was different about Kemah Palms Recovery?" The biggest difference for me were that the people who are with you day in and day out are former recovering addicts themselves and actually care about recovery. They understand this is life and death and come at you from a place of understanding and love. From their director Paul (no one knows more about recovery than this man) to their clinical director Tabitha (compassionate and intuitive) to my counselor Mrs. Day (best in the business and a true overcomer) to all the RA's and I do mean absolutely all of them, they prioritize you as a person and put your recovery first. From Raquel (super sweet and caring) to Michael (now my sponsor and I wouldn't have it any other way) to Cody (a fantastic recovery ally who I can still call and process with today) to Kristen (super caring) to Christian (rooted in faith) to Matt (a caring recovery advocate) to Abbie (authentically cares for you as a person) to Julie (who knows how to keep you grounded) to Ember (heart of gold) to Ashton (strong advocate) Mandy (super love her and no more caring/empathetic person alive) to the nursing staff, Hailey,(actually saved me when I was choking and also grounded in faith) to Carmen (fantastic nurse.) From Ashlynn who was kind and caring during my intial call, to even Jennifer and Stephanie who make sure you're set up for success when you leave by making sure you have living arrangements and appointments set. Basically just everyone from the doctors to even the maintenance staff Andy, Curt, and Cameron, this place is all about recovery and doing what it takes to get you healthy and the best version of you. I must also mention Mrs. Clara the cook. That was some of the best eating I have ever had. I even spoke with the owners several times while I was there and they are absolutely awesome. You'd think a place like this would be profits over people and most rehabs are, but it is super refreshing that this is the exception to that rule where people and their recovery come first. I love this place. I have to mention the equine therapy they have with two awesome horses, (Star and Cassie) and Sparky the recovery dog was there to love on you when you needed a friend. The community and love here and the continued connection has laid the foundations for what my recovery will be for the future. I am now participating in their PHP program and Jason and John are fantastic. They are the counselors running that program and they really challenge your old thought processes. I am approaching 2 months sober at this time, which is huge if you know me, and nothing short of a present day miracle. If you're looking for a place to partner with you and give you the necessary tools for you to be sober and successful I highly recommend this place. Kemah Palms Recovery is more than a rehab, they are love. ❤️

Well considering I’ve been to quite a few rehabs, Kemah Palms has hands down been the best one. All the staff was very welcoming from the moment I walked through the front door. Detox was surprisingly good, Residential had its ups and downs but that’s all about perspective. The counselors were amazing! Told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear. I’ve never felt so confident in recovery. They gave me wonderful tools to use. Taught me away to handle life in a more affective way. I would recommend KPR to anyone looking to change their life.

I was unsure of how this program would benefit my recovery in the beginning; I did not buy in fully for almost two weeks, but I am so glad I did. I want to thank the amazing staff- RA’s, Counselors, Admin, Groundskeepers, and especially the other clients I befriended along the way for their role in my recovery. The Orchard changed my life! Between the staff, counselors, and management there unified goal is something I have never seen! I have very mixed feelings about this place. I have been through IARC 4 times. There are many pros and cons, the biggest pro is the staff. Many of them genuinely care about the patients and have been around for years. Some staff have no business working in recovery, but "i wont take other people's inventory". This place is obviously a business first and a rehab second; sometimes clients that belong in a different type of institution slip through the doors. The food is mid. They use YouTube as a recovery tool, which is fine. The experience of going through the program is where most of the recovery comes from. I genuinely do appreciate most of the staff, they make up the heart and soul of that place. My recommendation to anyone considering IARC for rehab is... 1. Be honest, dont take away someones bed if you dont want it. 2. You better have thick skin and a high pain tolerance. 3. Use bathroom slippers if you dont want athletes foot. This place saves lives and has potential. Hope this review helps anyone conaidering going there.

I have struggled for years. Symetria and their staff helped me discover why. Their outpatient approach allows you to still work and attend your sessions too. No judging, no ridicule. They provide the system, you provide the work. The struggle is real but it works if you work it!!!!

Good quality VA services. The only problem is with prosthetics, I have been waiting for my back brace for over 3 months! Every month, I check/follow up, and they tell me it's still on order!

The dosing nurses Taylor, Olivia, Lexi & Ruth are all both professional & personable, kind & caring, nice & helpful too! Nancy the "Boss" who runs everything at the front desk has the nicest and most welcoming smile ever, not to mention the most genuine and thoughtful person, truly! And now my counselor , Mr. Richard, he keeps me in line & focused on my treatment plan, thank goodness because even though I'm scatterbrained he is on point! I can't forget to mention Jose, who really is awesome, just don't mess with him when he's drinking his coffee, lol, just kidding. Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward.
The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it.

The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future.

This is a good place. They are patient with me and have multiple different options of treatment and therapy. I am not an easy client to have but, somehow, they find a way to make it work which is more than i can say for most doctors.
