The specialty clinic is clean, and as of this post, wait times for scheduled appointments are very minimal.
Great staff and veteran service.
As far as the windows where the clerks are, I feel the computers should not block the view between clerk and veteran (very rude).
Also, when at the clerks windows, there should be a "pull ticket paper number" and a diisplay showing what window the veteran should proceed to.
The ckerks fo a great job assisting veterans.
As a veteran and Google reviewer, I highly recommend the South Enterprize VA clinic.

I just want to share ,that when my granddaughter alicia osterhoudt went to this place she loved it there because everyone was so loveable and friendly, i got to meet mr henry on the phone when I explained to him my Situation about my granddaughter, how she was abusing drugs, he knew all about it. It gave me a little testimony praise God. He helped me get my granddaughter in the was so understandable. Very nice to this day.
I still remember Mr. Henry. It's Li can hear his vowhen, he says.

This is a really nice place if you are re-entering the free world and want to stay some where where you can be around a clean and sober environment. You get the things you need with a pretty good breakfast and dinner with all the snacks you can stand in between. The men who stay here are very friendly and helpful. The staff the same. The place has its problems. But what old building doesn't. If you are really looking to stay clean and save a little money doing it I recommend this place.

Ok so I have to say that I was at first skeptical of the services that are being offered here, and I put alot of value on my peace of mind over most everything else. Well there is no other place that can offer you ample amount of time for sleep and relaxation. The classes they offer are sure to have you asleep and fully rested before you leave this fine educational institution. I can literally lose out on sleep at my house, come to class, and take a load off and go right to sleep like nobodies business, this program works if your looking for a creative way to get a few extra hours of restful sleep say if you have a partner who snores and keeps you up 💁🏻♂️ They sometimes have punch and donuts which at first come off sort of Jonestown'ish but no complaints I mean I'm still here unfortunately. The ladies are extremely nice at least to me..I would have given it a 5 star review but they don't have any fitness center available for us, no weight systems and we can't control the TV ever. We never get to talk about the significance of the teachings of Jesus Christ ever but I think would be of great importance if we did thats just my personal opinion. ..

I've been to over a dozen different treatment facilities in my lifetime. They all had similar approaches. Treatment associates has an unorthodox style that only a small sliver of the population would actually benefit from. If you don't benefit from treatment there, then YOU are the problem, not the drugs or alcohol.

For free health care, I don’t know why I complain. Probably because I'm a salty lil Karen who can barely get out of bed and when I do; I'm mad 😂 I've been to several VAs and Shavano typically completes everything I ask for help with, even if it takes forever. And I really like Dr K.
Overall with VA healthcare, or pretty much anything nowdays; being direct and asking for what you need WITH UNLIMITED PATIENCE gets the best results.

I've been seeing my Shavano Park team since October, and I like the location and staff. Dr K is great. Today there was some hub-bub with the fire department and I was forgotten about in the waiting room and ended up having to be there a few extra hours😂 The pros to this was the waiting room was comfortable, the staff was funny and I got to get halfway through my new library book. The only suggestion I would make would be maybe some feng shui (zen water fountain and tranquil pictures perhaps?) and coffee station/healthy snacks for the waiting room.

I was inpatient here for 4 days, adult unit. Best staff ever. Truly made me feel welcome and wanted while I was there and they really brightened up the mood for everyone as much as they could. Give miss terry/terri and miss Candice a raise ! I couldn’t have gotten better help for the situation I was in, they were the best. 💕

My daughter attended Rise Inspire Academy for 2½ years and graduated in 2025. We were referred to the program by a close friend who works in the recovery community, and I'm truly grateful for that connection. Rise made a meaningful impact in my daughter’s life. She began her journey to recovery in 2023, and today, she’s the only clean and sober student in her graduating class. That speaks volumes about her commitment — and the support she received.
Throughout her time there, my daughter was offered counseling, coaching, and a safe place to heal and grow. The program isn’t magic, and it’s not easy. But for students who are ready to put in the work, it can work. The staff includes some very kind, devoted individuals who truly care about the kids they serve. For that, I’m thankful.
However, my experience as a parent was mixed. I found communication with the staff to be somewhat lacking. It often felt like they were focused entirely on my child — which is important — but I also felt left out of the loop and that my feedback was not always welcomed or acknowledged. That made things challenging at times.
One concern I want to raise is how my daughter was led to believe she had a chance to work at the school after graduation. She went through the process of creating a recovery plan, submitting a resume, and even had an interview with the director, Evita. But in the end, nothing came of it, with no clear explanation. I can’t help but feel this decision may have been influenced by my own willingness to speak up about certain safety concerns and the need for stronger leadership. That was disappointing, especially after the growth and hard work my daughter had shown.
Despite the challenges, I do strongly recommend Rise Inspire Academy to families with teens struggling with substance abuse. This school offers a life-changing opportunity for young people — but it requires effort, honesty, and a desire to change. For those who are ready, this program can be the turning point.

Wonderful program. Just so you know though: No cell phones (for the most part), and only Cristian religious services are offered. I was not okay with it, and they still let me make it. Great people. (If they still have the acoustic guitar group, highlight it on your schedule, do not miss out!)

Not without flaws becuz it’s state funded severely underfunded . Respite is probabl good for someone who’s severely impoverished, but honestly better advice is given by staff/other clients. The limits on phone uses and no personal laptops is absurd tho; don’t understand why u wouldn’t just kick ppl out if violating policies (u have people competing against each other to access stuff; 80% of that is becuz of weird rules to lock up phones). Staff r great and clean room/bedding.

What a awesome clinic! I moved here from Florida 8 months ago and was so nervous about changing clinics. But this clinic has made the transition so smooth. Words cannot fully express my profound appreciation for the truly exceptional care my son is receiving here as he battles severe pneumonia.
The nurses have been nothing short of extraordinary. Their attention is unwavering, and their approach is so genuinely warm and accommodating, transforming what could be an incredibly stressful and long hospital stay into a period that feels as peaceful and uneventful as possible. They consistently treat my son with dignity and respect, providing comfort that goes beyond their medical duties.
I want to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to the entire @liftteam, and most particularly to Isaiah. Knowing my son is fragile, the gentleness and careful precision they use when cleaning and rotating him is an immense comfort. It is clear they understand the delicate nature of his condition and handle him with incredible tenderness.

The staff is very nice,the counselors are very considerate always helpful. I never thought I would feel normal again. Going to this clinic is helping me tremendously. I recommend to everyone that is in their addiction and wants to get help and clean to try this program it works
