I just want to share ,that when my granddaughter alicia osterhoudt went to this place she loved it there because everyone was so loveable and friendly, i got to meet mr henry on the phone when I explained to him my Situation about my granddaughter, how she was abusing drugs, he knew all about it. It gave me a little testimony praise God. He helped me get my granddaughter in the was so understandable. Very nice to this day.

Like so many other people's reviews, I can honestly say that this place has saved me, and my guy. Heroin is the one drug that I couldn't stay away from. It has been almost 12 years since I got on the methadone, and although I hate being tied to it, it is the one thing that has stopped that craving that always took me right back. I am so thankful to the staff here. It was hard at first, living in Robstown without a vehicle, so we had to bus it there and back to make it to work on time. Hustling to make our weekly payments until we made our first paycheck. The counselor, Kat worked hard for us to get state funded, and we worked hard to get our weekly takeouts. I have been through alot of the counselors, and all have been very helpful and respectful, that includes the receptionists, nurses, everyone. As long as you show respect, you'll get respect. Try playing them like they haven't seen and heard it all before, and you are only going to end up hurting yourself. We are very lucky to have this clinic. Because it has state funding we all try to do our best and follow the few rules. It is the only one that has funding and many on a fixed income or out of a job would suffer

Would give no stars if I could, Dr. Andrews suggested smoothies as a solution to my eating disorder, said I didn’t need treatment for it because I “looked ok,” later forcibly hospitalized me in a hospital where the staff was physically abusive. The care is free so that is nice but also can be carceral and negligent.

Do not take your kids to this treatment center. The counselor, Kenneth, was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and homophobic. I am a biological female and identify as a female, and he still chose to refer to me as a male despite clearly knowing I am my son’s mother.
Not only did he mistreat me, but he also disrespected my son throughout the entire session, bullying him and accusing him of being in a gang with no reason or evidence.
Parents deserve a safe, supportive environment for their children, and this place failed us completely.

I picked up prescription meds over the weekend and forgot to take them to nursing the next day I came back and was thrown out with no where to go.
No rules or regulations ever received. People were caught stealing multiple times but did not get thrown out until more than 10 times stealing from other clients. People drinking onsite and we’re allowed to stay (caught twice).
I looked at my insurance statement and they charged over $250,000 for less than 3 months.
Would not recommend for anyone that has other choices.

I was a client at soba twice but my most recent time there I did 8 months. First in residential for a month and the remaining time in the sober living house. overall I had a good experience and attribute soba for helping me get/stay sober. Shannon and Lucas are the directors and genuinely care about all clients and are always open to making soba a safer place. Getting in to soba was made easy for me with the help of Megan being there and working with insurance to get me the help I desperately needed. My case worker and therapist were Annette and Gabriella and they are absolutely amazing and care about the well being of other clients. In regards to the techs most of them really do care and suit up and show up everyday and are helpful/caring. But on the other hand there were moments of severe unprofessionalism from the techs. Talking negatively about me/other clients in a gossipy manor. Even going as far as going above people that are actually in a position of power and changing my lock on the door (John Allen). BUT besides him everyone is great. Soba has changed my life and I am forever grateful 💓

By God’s grace and Britanny’s help my son is doing so much better. Words could never express my appreciation for the team at La Hacienda. The buildings are older than I expected, but the love and treatment there is state of the art. The time spent there will put you or your love one on the right track to the life you are seeking. The family program is not easy, but plays a huge role in success. The family support during and after is amazing. It is like an extended family reunion of support each week, where joys are celebrated and those experiencing set backs are supported. I never do reviews but I am concerned about what I have experienced happening to anyone else. My name is Kimberly and I am an addict in recovery. I'd l I ke to start off being accountable by saying had I never self sabotaged myself I wouldn't of had to find a place to help me recovery from childhood trauma , alcohol and drug addiction however I didn't cope properly and I got myself into a strong hold which I. Grateful to be catching before it's too late and death and institutions are all my family have left of me. With that all being said. Please do your homework and read reviews because had I done that 1st then I would not be sitting in the ER at Baylor in a state I do not live in with no support nearby wondering why the center that called 9.1.1. 2 days ago is now telling me they no longer can keep my bed when I was suffering a TIA stroke due to conflict with another girl in the home bullying and running things due to favoritism manipulation and bullying tactics. They work off a seniority system which is great and effective to each individual however when one addict starts bossing around another addict it's a problem. When staff had to be asked by me to explain the rules to the house to the new comers because we are having other girls in treatment getting frustrated having to tell us the rules that's a problem.....when your given an LE which is a learning experience write up aka spank on the hand and has consequences attached to it by another client in the home who has child hood trauma and bullying issues that's a problem. This is what happened to me and I will just tell you I've never felt more trapped , unheard and more unsafe then I did there. That's truly unfortunate. They have many beds open at the moment and they are telling me that because I've had to come here due to my health which they were told about previously but chose to not let me have my medication which is a blood thinner because of the bottle being opened already that's a huge problem it's discrimination and it's abandoning a client aka patient. They could simply eliminate bullying and allowing senior peers to tell others peers what to do vs staying in their bubble or lane and staff can be more consistent but Instead I'm having to send an Uber to get my belongings so they are not donated in 24 hours from a facility I drove 15 hours to be at. I will also say there is alot of greatness and great staff at this facility and the clinical team is amazing but the actual home needs a better POA , have exit strategies when emergencies happen and most importantly it needs a Safer" safe place "environment plan in my opinion. Not all of us have been to prison or jail and not all of us were raised the same so allowing uneducated clients tell other clients what to do or kicking off their shoes getting ready to fight is not what my trauma driven addicted mind and heart needed that's for sure. Just educate yourself on every level before choosing a place for your loved one. That is the best advice I can give you. For me this wasn't it and I'm disappointed because I felt blessed to be given a bed there and now I'm feeling blessed to beggetting my things from there and this will not be the end of my recovery. I won't and don't have to use again and I pray your loved one never does either. This place is amazing. The complaints in the reviews worried me. But the moment I arrived I was treated with the upmost care. Only weak people leave a treatment facility like this. This place saved my life and I was treated with dignity and respect throughout. I have my life back and that is what I went there for. Anybody you read on here that has anything bad to say is soft. This place can fix anyone WILLING to be vulnerable. Some adults never got told they couldn't be unicorns when they grew up and it shows.

Warriors Heart in Bandera, TX was the safest spot I could’ve landed when my life was burning down. I came in drowning in booze, broken from childhood abuse, combat PTSD, and straight rage. They gave me the tools to start building something solid out of all that wreckage.
Biggest lesson for me was Ego. I thought I had one, maybe two. Nah, I had a fleet of them! All those past traumas twisting up and firing off as anger. Warriors Heart helped me see it, strip it down, and start putting in the real work.
Most of the staff are real ones, and they show up every day with wisdom, patience, and love.
It wasnt a magic fix. But it’s where the construction starts, new foundations can be started, and for me, that made all the difference. 🙏

I was transferred here from Tomball. The atmosphere drove my anxiety through the roof. I had to be transferred to Memorial Herman in the Medical center with fears of AFib. So glad I don't have to go back.

I have struggled for years. Symetria and their staff helped me discover why. Their outpatient approach allows you to still work and attend your sessions too. No judging, no ridicule. They provide the system, you provide the work. The struggle is real but it works if you work it!!!!

When I arrived at Heartwood in Austin, I was completely broken and had no hope left. I had been to multiple treatment centers before, but there is truly something different about Heartwood. From the beautiful, peaceful campus to the loving staff who actually take the time to truly know you, every part of this place is special.
The team at Heartwood, from the counselors all the way to the owner, are an absolute blessing. They do not just treat you; they care about you on a level I had never experienced elsewhere. Their approach helped me dig deep, open up, and finally begin to heal.
The aftercare is top tier as well. The constant love, support, and encouragement they continue to give even after you leave is nothing short of amazing.

I’ve been to multiple treatment centers. This is the best men’s treatment center there is in the area. Top to bottom, there’s not one staff member who isn’t truly doing this deal. You will be seen, you will be heard and you won’t fly under the radar. Heartwoods got a great mix of therapy/clinical practice and 12 step practice. Heartwood is in the helping people industry.
