Have used the Victoria Clinic for over 25 years and overall the clinic has been really notable. I’m about as screwed up as anyone you can think of. Their psychiatric service has monitored me and recognize when I am in distress and need a med change. Don’t get me wrong, I am not “normal” but I am a world away from what I was before the VA. The medical staff are very aware when I need help or go in for a for a specific reason or need. No not everything goes perfect but they try.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Make u relax with their familiarity as you get to know each other. Fabulous support system!! Lots of different options for many different topics. Help is just a step or call away. Walk in intake. Transportation help to and from appointments for Dr, meds, assessments, paperwork, community reference lists. So helpful!! They really listen and communicate. So many possibilities for help with your mental health which is so important!!

I had an amazing experience at detar North they delivered all 3 of my babies who were NICU babies and c sectons and are looking after my 3rd in the NICU right now my first I had eclampsia and came in seizing they literally saved my life I was 16 years old and had a chance of dying so young if it weren't for them when my first son passed due to complications of being so young the NICU nurses cried with me and held me they honored him with a memory box and casts of his hands and feet they've let me room in with all 3 of my babies and have reassured me since my first one passed, I had panic attacks and I had post partum depression with my second son my nurses came in my room and sat with me on the floor and cried with me and comforted me I wouldn't go anywhere else I love detar🩷

I have lower lumbar stress, the doctors, nurses and staff were excellent. I was pleased and grateful for the service I received. As an OTR truck driver it can be difficult to get good medical treatment while on the road. It was very clean and quite. I checked very quickly, saw a nurse moments later, and the doctor shortly there after. Due to my injury not much could be done, however they managed my pain very well and it is a pharmacy right down the hallway. All an all I was grateful; now I just need to rest and hopefully, I will recover soon. Thank you DeTar Hospital....

I’ve had five years of sobriety before even worked at the treatment center but this is my 27th stay at a treatment center and by far Bannyon has been the best Recovery I’ve been through the reason is the staff the techs The beautiful scenery, and the Cardinals the nursing staff everyone here is working together to complete a goal. I have been to a handful of treatment centers in Texas and just finished my residential program at Banyan. It is operated very well. The programming and structure is different than other places. I couldn’t recommend coming here enough if you need help. The property is very big, nice amenities. The tech/recovery coach to client ratio is definitely the best I’ve seen. From the beautiful people who maintain the breathtaking 132 acres, to the very top of the medical/ clinical team — and of course Dan — every single person is beyond exceptional. I truly believe the “secret sauce” everyone talks about at The Orchard is community. It begins with the people who dedicate their lives not only to their own sobriety, but to ours as residents as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who welcomed me into their care with open arms — with no judgment, no preconceived notions, and every willingness to give me the help, the space, and the love I needed to heal from trauma that resulted in addiction. If you are looking for a place to become renewed and begin your recovery journey, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to take a hard look at The Orchard. I was at Great Oaks recently, and I've been through other places prior to this. The staff are all great people that know the disease of addiction, they were patient , understanding, and will call you on you BS. Reality versus expectations. If you wanna learn how to live without the trap in your life, this place is by far the best place I've been, but you gotta really want it, or no place you go is gonna fix you. I struggled with depression, bipolar disorder, and 15 years of addiction to heroin, speed, and alcohol. They teach great coping skills, grounding techniques, and other tools and exercises in the classes they have day in day out throughout the week. They psychiatric doctors and medical team is great, they put me on the proper medications that have my disorders under control. Their staff and techs are great, they don't judge because they have been through addiction and are active in recovery. They transport clients twice a week to 12 step Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, which are optional. The food is great, and they have a gym and swimming pool for the clients in rehab. I went there for a 30 day residential treatment in April, got sober, found a sponsor in AA and began working steps and my recovery journey, and got in good physical shape and regained my physical and mental health. I have four months continued sobriety, before I went to Great Oaks Recovery Center I couldn't go more than a couple weeks without drinking or using drugs. I recommend this place to anyone who's serious about getting sober and changing their life.

If you want to honestly get sober you’ll do what’s right no matter the circumstances.TLR has helped a ton to really help me find the roots of my problems it’s not always easy it will get uncomfortable and challenging but if you truly want to better yourself and your situation you’ll push through it and it’ll all make more sense to you and life will get easier of course you’ll have your ups and downs but that’s life fortunately now you’ll be equipped with more life skills and gain more insight about recovery

I loved this place. It provided me a save haven to reset my nervous system, and my vagus nerve. Every Employee knows their assignment to provide a space for healing. I needed the structure and time and the learning assignments. I had stopped eating, stopped taking medications, stopped sleeping and my intestines stopped working. Even though I remained functional in my daily responsibilities, I knew I was the walking dead and I needed help. Abba lead me to Willow Springs who provided the education, structure, food, medicine, and he provided the healing, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

I spent time at Skyward Addiction Treatment Center in Sugar Land and it really helped me turn things around. My counselor, Ms. Kimberly Isaac, was amazing — she took the time to actually understand what I was going through and helped me work through a lot of stuff instead of just going through the motions. The nursing staff, Jessica and Brianna, also deserve a shoutout, they were attentive and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even when I wasn't the easiest patient to deal with. It’s hard to put into words the amount of gratitude I feel for Robert Kidd & “the Room” @ Positive Recovery, but I will give it my best shot. After finding myself at an ultimate low & loosing nearly everything that ever mattered to me in life, I found myself sitting in what we call “the room”. Robert asked me a question that I had no idea wld be the start of a new & beautiful journey…. “Who is Kat?” Take away the kids, the marriage, the job, etc…most of which I had lost at that point anyway - who was I, at my core? I had absolutely no idea - but thankfully, I had a willingness & a safe place to find out. Thru some really challenging assignments & sitting in the room w/ others who were willing to open up & share things we probably wldn’t otherwise talk about…I found myself doing the same. In doing so, I have been able to let go of things I didn’t even realize I had been holding onto & have rediscovered who I AM. I hope this review reaches you when you’re feeling like you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked. If that’s where you are, know that PRC will give you the help you need, and Robert Kidd is in the business of the highest calling—Saving Lives. There are a few moments in my life that I can pinpoint as truly life-saving, and my experience at PRC is one of them. There are plenty of IOP programs around, but the people at this center, especially Robert Kidd, are on a whole different level. Before coming to PRC in San Marcos, I had been through three treatment centers and several Intensive Outpatient Programs, with my life in complete disarray. But everything changed when I met Robert. When you show up at an IOP, it’s not on your best day—it’s one of the lowest. My family had given up on me, and I didn’t have anyone to help me sort through the wreckage of my life and guide me forward. I felt hopeless, like rebuilding my life wasn’t possible. Robert took me in at my lowest point, and I’ll never forget what he said after going through the intake process. He looked at me—a 28-year-old man, fresh out of my second rehab, with a newborn child—and smiled. “Hey Bud, we’re going to get through this. And I don’t just mean maintain—I mean thrive. I have high hopes for you, John.” It had been a long time since someone believed in me. Robert became the father figure I needed when mine had stopped speaking to me. From that moment, I gave everything I had to getting clean. I had never stayed clean and sober for more than 12 days, but Robert's belief in me made me want to succeed. Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff is awesome! They always talk me out of leaving and they’re so kind I can’t be mad at them. I completed the program and the only thing I could say they could improve is maybe some more activities together. That’s a big thing. Connection with others and having fun. We did sometimes but I think they could do it more often.
