Sante has taught me the tools I need to have a great recovery. The staff cares and goes above and beyond for the patients there. My absolutely favorites are: Kelsey, Hannah, Robert, Jordan, Josh, Sean, Maddison, Melissa, Christina, Martin, and Alanha. These people helped me find peace and love during my stay. 4 years ago my mom sent me to roots renewal ranch. I was 15 years old and was the 3rd ever patient. struggling with substance and mental health. I’m now almost 20 years old. Roots gave me a new experience. A huge difference from in patient or an outpatient clinic. Roots felt like a home. As a single child I never had to live with other people or be away from my mom or my home for an extended period of time. But at roots I made 12 sisters. Who to this day im still in contact with. The animals and group therapies and activities they had/have were very different. Never in my life did I think I would be feeding a donkey! I’m now a part of the alumni program. Every single one of the roots staff is still in my life. Especially Kendall Pickett and Zoe. Kendall runs a lot of the alumni events. Such as alumni in person meetings every second Wednesday of the month. And even though I don’t live in Dallas anymore every week without fail I attend via FaceTime. And it’s been amazing seeing girls from my group (4 years ago) to girls who got out just a week ago. We continue to learn a lot from each other. And I find so much comfort in the staff. Still to this day if I’m just having a bad day and need someone to talk to there my first call. And they still give me so much love. FOREVER GREATFUL -#3 ❤️

I want to start this review with a couple facts.... our daughter goes by he/him and has chosen a gender neutral name to go by, while this isnt something we like or necessarily agree with, we did A LOT of research on the subject and discovered that the best approach for her mental health was to respect her choice so around her we use he/him, the chosen name and i am her biggest supporter. This doesn't cement her in this choice.... this let her know that her parents love and support her and gives her the space to feel comfortable working through things. She even let some of the girls put fake eyelashes on her and said things like im more comfortable being feminine..... these mental health trained professionals know what they are doing & truly have your daughters best interests at heart. This place needs more than 5 stars bc wow. We were basically lost, hopeless, frustrated, and at the end of our ropes..... as was our kiddo. Roots has given us hope. Their approach includes the family and that's key. Top it off with all of the post discharge support. And I don't know how they do it but it feels like everyone working their including the chefs... u heard me.... these girls get fed like the amazing queens that they are, but I digress.... the entire staff cares and wants to be there helping these girls and their families heal. It was incredibly hard to choose a place to send my daughter & afmit that im not enough and we need help. Roots made me feel like we are right where we belong and that there is light at the end of this dark tunnel. Our daughter has much better communication skills and confidence in herself and the process and even in us as parents. I know now that when we hit bumps in the road that we will be able to handle things in a much better way for our kiddo than previously. And even better.... she knows how to handle things with much much better coping skills. Read the books they recommend, show up to the support groups, and be radically open & honest.... these people know how and will help. This isn't just a rehab.... this is a new extension of family & friends that are positive influences for not just your kiddo but for you as well.

BEST PLACE EVER. I have tried various other doctors/clinics and none of them even begin to compare to this one. The staff here is absolutely amazing. I can’t even make a single complaint. Dr Son is the best as well. He explains everything and you truly feel like he understands you. I can proudly say this, this place saved my life. If you or someone you know needs help getting off opiates do it right the first time and come here. You won’t be disappointed. If you are specifically struggling with fentanyl please don’t waste your time with other ways. I have tried 6 other methods from lazer therapy to having the earpiece to suboxone. Methadone is the key to our current fentanyl crisis. This clinic makes recovery possible again!

I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. I will forever be in debt to what this program gave me during the most formative year of my life. Lighthouse is one of very few places where every staff member truly just wants to see you succeed. I could go through the list of names, but it would be too long. Thank you lighthouse for giving me the why’s and the how’s on how to live a life beyond what I could have imagined a little over a year ago.

Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person.
Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support.
I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made an overwhelming situation feel manageable, and I am deeply grateful for everything they did to support both my child and our family.

So, let me just start off by saying thank you to all involved with Aspire!
I was reluctant to say the least because I've been through IOP before. That shadow wasn't casted over me after the first session I sat in my seat.
I grew and grew with the help of Aspire and my journey was exactly what I was looking for.
I garnered the tools to get a ton of steam off and establish my support system in Aspire and OUTSIDE of Aspire, which they encouraged me to do.
The entire team was apart of my experience and went above and beyond to help me get on to the next chapter of my life.
I'm eternally grateful to the entire team and program of Aspire and would definitely suggest this be the group to consider for your start and introduction to getting the tools you need to stay sober in early sobriety.
I'll be a proud member of their Alumni program, and maybe one day, I'll see who reads this review at the Alumni group as well!

They did their best to help me but I was a little too headstrong and my Waze And I took a few months off of their treatment to figure out how I could deal with pain management and my mental diagnosis but I think overall they do the best they can and the people that don’t work with them don’t have a good experience the staff was really friendly and cute and I enjoyed it

If it weren’t for MHMR, I wouldn’t be alive today. They have saved my life! Maybe my situation is just different?! I called 988 in July 2024, and they sent 2 regular people to just talk to me. They did not judge or tell me what to do, they listened and were able to get me out of the living environment that was making my grief from my sweet baby brother’s suicide so much worse. I’ve been homeless and was DONE soI took half a bottle of blood pressure pills. Crazy thing because I didn’t even get a good night sleep. So then I was assigned a case worker who was a regular person going to college to get his degree in counseling, who would come and pick me up, take me to my appointments and take me to the pharmacy. It was amazing and it’s because for once I was SHOWN my life was worth living, clearly something my own family would never do. I’ve been at this clinic almost a year and now my social security will finally go through in a few months. They even helped me do my application and soon I will have my own income and will never need help from any family ever again, and THAT feels great. I’m healing a little and none of this could have happened without MHMR. I’m just so grateful & this place does great work if you’re very direct and honest about what you need.

There is an article by, David S. who is an alumnus of the Sontx Residential Program. Wrote and published an article called:
"Acceptance Is (Not The Final) Answer"
It's sad that their are individuals who place personality before principals. This article proves it. The individual takes a corner stone in recovery, "Acceptance" and makes a mockery of it by taking the negative points that an individual can take away from it and saying that's all we believe in recovery. Obviously, David has not fully subscribed to recovery yet. All that he accuses those in recovery of believing about acceptance is wrong and only shows his ignorance. I don't choose to subscribe to the thought that all in recovery are as ignorant as David S. However David said "Acceptance is not the answer to all my problems today"!
If David who's in recovery say all in recovery are liars, Is he telling the Truth?

Their are countless of drug treatment programs, and sober living homes out there, but I honestly don't think I would of have gained as much as success as I have now if it wasn't for Solutions of North Texas and their staff. The structure of the program not only thought me what I needed to know about myself as an addict, but enforced greatly the severity of working my Steps as well as working with a sponsor. Now, I myself sponsor others and have placed myself in a position in life I never thought would be achievable. I truly owe a great and big Thank You to the entire staff, specially Cheri for putting up with me, even though I know she is probably crying because I'm gone. As of now there’s only 1 nurse working & she’s doing a great job! The rest of the staff is great aswell and have always been very helpful if I’ve ever needed anything. To the one nurse that’s by herself, I feel bad for her but she’s doing what she can to make sure everyone gets taken care of & she’s doing an awesome job of it.

My son went here for about 7 months and it was a great experience for my wife and I also my son. The staff was great Mike, Alex and Aaron where always informative provided great insight also have my wife and I coaching about how to handle my sons behavior and how we could be better in supporting him in his recovery. My sons been sober since Jan 2019 and is in college now living a happy sober life. My son still privately sees his counselor he saw at Lighthouse off site of course and did case management for few months after discharge.

I just got home from inpatient with Carrollton springs and I loved it, as much as I could with it being a mental health facility. Everyone was so nice and I really got the help I needed. The therapist Nitten Khana was absolutely amazing. The reason for the 4 stars though is just the disorganization of admin here. It wasn’t great. Other than that though I would highly recommend this facility

I had an amazing experience with NP Ubabuco. I recently moved from Florida and attended an IOP program under the care of a psychiatrist. I didn’t agree with prior diagnoses and we discussed why I felt that way and NP Unabuco was able to give his input on what possibly led to those diagnoses. For the first time in my mental health journey I felt heard. I am excited to continue and feel that I am in the best place for care. Staff were extremely helpful as well. 10/10 ✨

This was my 4th rehab this year and it was by far the best. The food is TOO good and the staff was wonderful. I felt like they nearly bent over backwards to make sure I was comfortable. I felt finally made it through a 30 day program without quitting. I feel it was because of the love and support from the staff who seemed to care more than all the other places.

To be completely honest, I thought I would absolutely loathe these online sessions. And while I did at first considering I was forced to go through with it, I'm glad I did; and I would do ANYTHING for my girls. Matt and Sydney taught me things about myself I didn't know in my [at that time] 32 years of life. Matt was great and reminded me of Seth Rogen. He was very funny and straightforward and I like that. Also, he was a great teacher and has a good way of getting you to understand things. Sydney was the best counselor I could have asked for, and I appreciate EVERYTHING she did for me. She was more than just a counselor to me and even went out of her way to help my girls and I. I am forever grateful for her, Matt, and this program. I've never been to a rehab before this one so I may be biased, but if you're looking for a place to grow and get help, this is it. Thank y'all!

I attended LMR back around 2010-2012. I look back today and am so grateful for the support I received as I struggled with Cocaine addiction. I had been arrested just 8 months after losing my father to pneumonia and was having a very difficult time just living day to day. Thank you for everything you do and continue to do. Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.

This is a great facility and program. The staff is amazing! I took off one star because the billing department at corporate is incompetent. Make sure you are well educated on your insurance coverage and know the financial process at the center ahead of time to avoid stress and frustration.

My experience with Homeward bound back in the day was a great one. I was in the process of trying to be admitted recently and it ended up taking 4 days before I was told no. I have the distinct problem of taking benzodiazepines and being addicted to Fentanyl. This facility is for simple detox only. They have other programs but my experience is with the detox part. I like the people they are great but they have their limits and they know it. Listen when the nurse sends you away and keeps making you jump through hoops. That is her passive aggressive no and im not sure why they dont just say no instead of making people go to doctors and get prescriptions changed just so the nurse can bring in security and tell you they don't think you will be able to come to the program after all. Detoxing off benzos and opiates was too much for them. This isn't a resort set up not a vacation. DETOX ! BRING CIGARETTES ! YOU SMOKE AFTER EVERY MEAL AND PEOPLE WANNA BUM one every meal. This place is good for a simple detox. No bells no whistles you get in you get out. the staff is very nice they help you get funding or you set up a payment plan but funding is available. The kitchen has decent meals three times a day. After every meal you get smoke breaks. There are no groups you don't have to sit in group at all for any reason .They put out desserts for snacks in between meals for all the sugar addicts. It's a 5 to 7-Day detox depending on the funding and how much you got in your system Max is 7 days.

After reading all the reviews regarding the Seay Behavioral Center, I want to share my experience. I was voluntarily admitted on October 09, 2023, and released on October 12, 2023. I went in to detox from pain medicine due to back pain. I read the reviews before checking in, which made me afraid of this place to the point that I almost did not go in. The nurse who performed the check-in process was charming and understanding. Several rules were imposed, but I understand the reason behind them. At no time the staff were rude or condescending to me or any of the other patients. Yes, when someone "acted out," the staff expeditiously was stern and controlled things. The bedrooms were quite large and had somewhat comfortable beds; remember, this is a hospital. The unit is well-kept and always clean. Each room has a clean bathroom, and the shower has good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The food was okay; again, this is a hospital. We were served breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks twice in the afternoon. Each day, the meals were different and tasty.
Activities: each day, there were different classes and activities. Some of those activities included Yoga, outside time, about an hour, meditation, group therapy, and classes to help with coping mechanisms. We were allowed to use the phone anytime except when there was a scheduled activity. There were two wireless phones and two wired phones. There is a TV room with two big round tables and plenty of chairs where people can read, draw, or mingle.
Overall, I am happy that I was admitted to Seay Behavioral Center, as I connected well with the staff, Drs, Nurses, Therapists, etc., including the patients. We all knew we were there because we wanted a better life, so we motivated each other.
This was my experience, and understand that different people will have different experiences or ideas.

I just came to say the staff really do make this place. I’ve been here about 4 times in the adolescent unit and each time the staff have helped me alott. I recommend this hospital a lot it’s definitely the better one out of the options here compared to what goes on at some of the other ones from my experience. Although a little overstimulating and annoying for me at times I’ve personally never had a bad or horrible experience with the hospital itself or the staff. I really just came here to personally shout Mrs. Taz especially she’s suchhhh a cool and nice person definitely played a big part in my progress and comfortability and the therapist here are amazinggg they really take their time with you and getting to know you and what you’re dealing with. I became quite comfortable with them all but especially Darius he’s the goat fr!! He helped me in so many ways and I’ll forever be thankful for him and really all the staff I got to know pretty well even Mrs. Heidi and Janise. I don’t know if they’ll see this but I hope they do they’ll know who it’s from lol but in the event that they do I miss yalll and I’m forever grateful for you guys. like I said I won’t be back but I hope yall are doing well and I wish yalll the bestt!

Okay, so I have a couple of things I want to share. First off, I gave Seay Center a 5/5 because of their staff which includes mental health techs, nurses, and doctors when available. Other than that, there is no way this place as a whole should be considered a 5 when most of their services would fall under a 2.5 or a 3 star. And while this may be true, the staff makes up for that lack of quality and with them, you truly feel like you’re getting a five star experience. They try to connect and even act goofy, so that you feel comfortable being you even if you are not a hundred percent yourself at the time. Unfortunately, I am over-qualified to discuss Seay Center since I have been there 3x in the past few years. Each time was different, but one thing did not change - the staff. They never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed or like I’m not doing enough as a patient to get better. Honestly, if you ever end up here, you’re in good hands and if you think your not, find the following people: Taz (mainly works with adolescents though), Kenina, Mike, Katrina, Debbie, Hiedi, Kim, Kianndria, Winnie, and Brittany. Shout to (most) of the staff, but especially these folks because they were a HUGE help!

I am sorry it has taken me this long to write a review. I wanted to make sure that I had the time to really write in detail how well my son did with the program at Center for Discovery and how much he connected not only with the other kids there but with the staff. It has made a huge impact on him and us. Sometimes, I felt like we were spoiled. :)
This has been a long journey and especially for my son since we didn't know till much later. When the decision was made that he needed to go to a residential, I was terrified and nervous. They worked super hard with our insurance to get him in and because CFD is 3.5 hours away from us, I was very reluctant, but we knew we had to do what we had to do for the health and healing journey for our child.
It was a struggle trying to find a place that accepted adolescent males. I thank God every day that CFD accepted boys. We were so scared that were not going to be able to find anything for him in the state.
Thankfully, we were able with the help of CFD speaking with the insurance back and forth, he was in. At this point he and the family just wanted to get started with this program. We were all so exhausted and I was emotionally drained. When we came for his admission, the whole staff greeted us with kind hearts and smiles. Just the knowing how scared and anxious families are they knew exactly how to read the room.
Everyone was so very help for the first few weeks when I would ask a bazillion questions. I was scared about the medications, scared about everything. The whole fear of the unknown. And let me tell you, Marisol, Mallory and so many more were so patient and kind with me and my fears. It is like they know what they are doing or something lol!! But seriously. I don't know what I would have done without them talking me off the ledge sometimes because of my son being far and not being able to see him but once a week, that was tough for me. And everyone has their own battles, that one was mine.
My son made some friends along the way and still is in contact with them once in a while and feel that is needed during this time of healing and recovery with teens. They need a good support system. The kids there were so supportive of him like they were family and felt great knowing he had that there and I was able to sleep just a little better at night knowing that.
Once he finally broke out of his shell and began to really dive deep into what he needed to do to start this process, he did amazing. CFD was there for him and us every step of the way.
He came out like a champ, and I am so proud of him and everyone at CFD for doing the hard work you do. It must be so rewarding and hard at the same time, with your heart strings being pulled every which way. YOU ALL ARE HEROS!

I was here January through March, 2024. Any reviews before May 2023 are from old, irresponsible management, and under Casey (Site Manager) and Kaitlyn (Lead Therapist/Clinical Manager) everything has run much better, and patients are treated with care and individual respect.
From all the other residentials I have heard of from others, this is the place to be. This eating disorder residential is like no other that I've seen or heard of. I flew in from NC, so I can't say much for other Texas residentials, but I can say that two months here was one of the most beneficial experiences I have ever had.
There are eating disorder and diet technicians, who are very well trained and prepare nutritious meals by the individualized diet orders of each patient, and genuinely care about the experience and healing of the patients they are working with. The staff was one of the best parts of my stay here. They keep a watchful eye on patients, yet don't make them feel as if they are in prison. CFD Plano is definitely a home setting.
Here, myself and other patients are not only medically watched and stabilized, but also learn how to plan, cook, and understand meals ourselves. I came out of CFD with a much better knowledge and mindset about eating, with the careful patience of my entire care team.
Primary care teams consist of a trained therapist, psychiatrist, dietitian, and pediatrician (only adolescents at this center). Patients are also cared for by on-site nurses, day and overnight staff, and occasional external doctor visits with guardian consent, if necessary. This treatment center was my first, and I gained a well-rounded understanding of all the processes and routines. The staff is very well informing.
I felt safe here.
Visiting hours are every evening, and after the patient moves up in their treatment, passes to take time with family may be granted.
The treatment center cares for patients 9-18, and though those who come here for care are mostly teenagers, I have personally seen how well the team responds to caring for younger children. 10/10 recommend.
In my time here, I had Stephanie as my therapist and Helen Mary as my dietitian. They were the most amazing clinicians I have had to this day. Both were very patient and understanding with me, having worked in this field for years, yet pushed me at the perfect pace to make sure I was recovering at the right pace for me. There are hard times in treatment, and I felt supported in my struggle in recovery. Stephanie worked with me on my other issues, such as communication, familial relationships, and self image, as well as my eating disorder. She made me feel understood and talked to me about what she was doing and why, along with my parents. Stephanie played one of the most crucial roles in my time here, and prepared me for leaving and being on my own from day one. Defiantely my favorite therapist out of the five that I have had in treatment. My dietitian, Helen Mary (Katool) played another crucial role in my recovery. She individualizes meal sizes and food exposures to each patient, and pushed me to broaden my tolerance of food in a way that I have seen no other dietitian master. Ms. Katool showed me a different way of viewing food, and intertwined therapeutic methods and exposures into how she teaches and treats clients with nutrition. I have also seen her work well with young children.
In the first few days of treatment, patients will get ten minutes of phone time every night, and will move up in allotted times throughout treatment. Phone numbers will have to be approved by guardians to call.
CFD does not tube patients, and will closely monitor their health. If nutritional deficiency are low to the concern of the patient's team, the patient will be admitted to the nearest hospital.
CFDP treats multiple eating disorders. My review comes from my point of anorexia nervosa, but I was also alongside those and informed of those with bulimia, BED, and ARFID, who also got individualized treatment and groups pertaining to their needs.

My child had an excellent experience here. We sent our kiddo five states away to be in this program after extensively interviewing other programs on the east half of the nation. They did wonders for our kid. Do not hesitate to send your child here. The therapy was tremendous and nutritional education and learning to plate and make decisions about food really helped.
