My son first went there at a time when he wasn’t ready to embrace recovery and after that, he spent time at many other treatment centers. When he finally reached the point where he was ready to get better La Hacienda was the place he wanted to go. That spoke volumes to me. Out of everywhere he had been, La Hacienda was the place where he felt the most comfortable and cared for. It was a place that made him believe that recovery was possible. As a mother, I understood very little about addiction so I attended 4 different family programs at his various treatment centers and the one at LaHa was by far the best. When my son returned to LaHa he specifically asked his dad to attend the family session. It was here that he finally understood addiction as a disease and was given the perspective he needed to not only support our son’s recovery but his own through attending our local Alanon. I honestly only had the intention to stay 1. Each month I agreed to extend because this place was worth it. One of my character flaws is perfectionism and I could complain about some small issues, but honestly that's irrelevant to the support and care I received. After detox, I was assigned the absolute best therapist I have ever had and several amazing recovery coaches that helped me work through my personal issues, legal problems, and my FMLA so I had a job to return to. I learned more about mental health, addictions, and coping skills then I ever expected. I met lot of amazing friends that I still keep in regular contact with since my departure and most of the staff are incredibly loving and caring. Food and facility cleanliness was also great. Overall, I had my ups and downs, but was shown to overcome them and have been thriving more than I had in a long time before arriving to windmill. Once I got there, Robert (head tech) and Angie (one of the many amazing nurses) made me feel very safe & welcomed me, explained the rules in detail and were willing to help me with whatever I needed. I did the intake process & got settled into detox. The next few days I went to classes and they opened my eyes to staying longer than my original plan which was just for detox. I stayed the whole 45 day program and it was the best decision for me. Some days were harder than others but the technicians - like Courtney, Karissa, Raven, Tito, Chris, JJ, and Sonny. - really made such a huge difference in my stay. Not only do some of them teach the courses but they are with us day to day & get to help us in some of the darkest toughest moments. Others that really helped were counselors - like Andrew, Jennifer, Chelsea, and Katie - with the curriculum, and sessions placed to help us not have to worry about outside troubles, and just to feel comfortable in our recovery. It made all the difference. And for the aftercare, there is Ripple Ranch Continuum Outreach Program, and our fantastic alumni coordinator Skyler Wellman. If anyone needs literally anything ever, he’s the man to go too, his heart and passion for the recovery in every stage is beautiful and awe inspiring. ✨ Not to mention the wonderful chefs in the kitchen who make us 3 wonderful tasty meals a day. And Ms.Nettie - can’t forget that most amazing woman✨💛 kept me strong even when I didn’t think I had anymore left in me. 🌸✨ Ripple became my home for 45 days when I needed it the very most. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Great therapists and all that. If you’re looking for addiction treatment I’d definitely try applying to go there. But if you need mental health treatment, you’d best look elsewhere since they only deal with mental health as it relates to addiction. Just coping skills training & some psych-ed. Not much art therapy if that’s your thing. Also, they don’t really help you find a job so just be aware of that too. I would go to them again if I relapsed I guess. They’ll get you to 6 months sober at least. Being discharged too early before I felt like I was ready activated my abandonment wound though. La Hacienda truly changed my life. I’ve been to treatment centers all over the state of Texas, and La Hacienda was the last treatment center I ever had to go to. The 28 days I spent there helped save my life and gave me the foundation I needed for long term recovery. The staff genuinely care and are always available to help, encourage, and support clients through every stage of the process. The program is strongly rooted in a 12 step approach, which was exactly what I needed, while also offering specialized programming to meet different individual needs. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and very clean, creating an environment where healing feels possible. The medical staff were also incredible and made me feel safe and cared for throughout my stay. Our family’s experience with LaHa left a lasting impression on me. My son first went there at a time when he wasn’t ready to embrace recovery and after that, he spent time at many other treatment centers. When he finally reached the point where he was ready to get better La Hacienda was the place he wanted to go. That spoke volumes to me. Out of everywhere he had been, La Hacienda was the place where he felt the most comfortable and cared for. It was a place that made him believe that recovery was possible. As a mother, I understood very little about addiction so I attended 4 different family programs at his various treatment centers and the one at LaHa was by far the best. When my son returned to LaHa he specifically asked his dad to attend the family session. It was here that he finally understood addiction as a disease and was given the perspective he needed to not only support our son’s recovery but his own through attending our local Alanon. We highly recommend La Hacienda.

Recovery unplugged changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The care for their clients went far beyond my expectations of rehabilitation centers. My counselor LuLu helped me find the understanding of myself needed to move forward from active addiction, my case manager Chloe provided me the resources needed to take the next steps, and my Alumni Coordinator Natalie has an incomparable heart for those in recovery as they take those next steps. The program also entrenches you in the Austin recovery community, intentionally becoming the connective tissue with society needed for rehabilitation from addiction. As someone who never wanted to step into rehab, I would recommend the program to anyone.

I was a client here and stayed for 3 months. I honestly only had the intention to stay 1. Each month I agreed to extend because this place was worth it. One of my character flaws is perfectionism and I could complain about some small issues, but honestly that's irrelevant to the support and care I received. After detox, I was assigned the absolute best therapist I have ever had and several amazing recovery coaches that helped me work through my personal issues, legal problems, and my FMLA so I had a job to return to. I learned more about mental health, addictions, and coping skills then I ever expected. I met lot of amazing friends that I still keep in regular contact with since my departure and most of the staff are incredibly loving and caring. Food and facility cleanliness was also great. Overall, I had my ups and downs, but was shown to overcome them and have been thriving more than I had in a long time before arriving to windmill. God always keeps my life "interesting", but I'm glad this place came into my life.

I went into rehab scared, and unknowing of what to expect. Once I got there, Robert (head tech) and Angie (one of the many amazing nurses) made me feel very safe & welcomed me, explained the rules in detail and were willing to help me with whatever I needed. I did the intake process & got settled into detox. The next few days I went to classes and they opened my eyes to staying longer than my original plan which was just for detox. I stayed the whole 45 day program and it was the best decision for me. Some days were harder than others but the technicians - like Courtney, Karissa, Raven, Tito, Chris, JJ, and Sonny. - really made such a huge difference in my stay. Not only do some of them teach the courses but they are with us day to day & get to help us in some of the darkest toughest moments. Others that really helped were counselors - like Andrew, Jennifer, Chelsea, and Katie - with the curriculum, and sessions placed to help us not have to worry about outside troubles, and just to feel comfortable in our recovery. It made all the difference. And for the aftercare, there is Ripple Ranch Continuum Outreach Program, and our fantastic alumni coordinator Skyler Wellman. If anyone needs literally anything ever, he’s the man to go too, his heart and passion for the recovery in every stage is beautiful and awe inspiring. ✨ Not to mention the wonderful chefs in the kitchen who make us 3 wonderful tasty meals a day. And Ms.Nettie - can’t forget that most amazing woman✨💛 kept me strong even when I didn’t think I had anymore left in me. 🌸✨ Ripple became my home for 45 days when I needed it the very most. The connections I’ve made there will last a lifetime & I am so so grateful for it. ✨💛

Ripple Ranch was exactly what I needed and I am grateful for the staff, medical team, and counselors. I joined at one of the lowest points in my life and the work was not easy but the support from the team pushed me through the program and greatly improved my recovery and sobriety. The team cares about their alumni and treats you with dignity, care, and love. Very grateful they had me as a patient and I would recommend going if you are serious about getting sober.

Wether you take the help, or not, it is not their problem. Nova is far from perfect, and some of the information can be misleading. But if you want to dive deep into the 12 Steps while enjoying good food and a beautiful scenic view, this is the place for you. The staff is great — the RAs and techs are friendly and genuinely care. The woman who runs it, however, can be unreasonable and enforces some silly rules (like not being allowed to save your food for later — insanity), but fortunately, she’s not around much. Jeff and Korn are the ones who really run the show. They have a ton of recovery experience and are both awesome guys who truly care. Jeff changed my life and helped save my marriage, so the place gets five stars from me for that reason alone. Thank you to Jeff, Korn, Cassandra, Jen, Leon Phelps, Aaron, and the rest of the staff!

Heartwood Recovery truly saved my life. From the moment I got there, I felt like I was surrounded by people who actually cared about me and wanted to see me succeed. Being a young adult in recovery can be difficult, but Heartwood does an amazing job helping younger guys feel comfortable, connected, and understood. One of the biggest things I took away from Heartwood was the brotherhood. I built real relationships with people who were going through the same things as me, and that made a huge difference in my recovery. The combination of the 12 steps, clinical support, recovery coaches, and staff gave me the structure and tools I needed to start building a better life. The outings were great, the food was honestly amazing, and the entire staff made Heartwood feel more like a community than a treatment center. I’ll always be grateful for my time there and the people I met. Heartwood didn’t just help me get sober, it helped me learn how to live again. I can genuinely say Heartwood saved my life, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for real help.

Overall good treatment center. Great therapists and all that. If you’re looking for addiction treatment I’d definitely try applying to go there. But if you need mental health treatment, you’d best look elsewhere since they only deal with mental health as it relates to addiction. Just coping skills training & some psych-ed. Not much art therapy if that’s your thing. Also, they don’t really help you find a job so just be aware of that too. I would go to them again if I relapsed I guess. They’ll get you to 6 months sober at least. Being discharged too early before I felt like I was ready activated my abandonment wound though.

I can't say enough good things about this rehab. Walking through the doors was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. The staff truly cared about my recovery and treated me with compassion, respect, and understanding every step of the way, from residential to outpatient services as well as the alumni program. The counselors and support staff created a safe environment where I could be honest, heal, and learn the tools I needed to build a new life. I had a very positive experience with Austin Recovery Center in downtown Austin while completing my IOP counseling program. Hector A. was sincere, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to, and he made it comfortable to have meaningful conversations about some of life's more difficult experiences. His guidance helped me work through an uneasy period in a positive and constructive way, and I'm proud to say I successfully completed the program. Although I completed the program requirements, I still check in from time to time at the downtown location. I always feel comfortable there and leave with a positive experience. I'm grateful for the support I received from Hector and the Austin Recovery Center team and would recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive and understanding environment during their recovery. Stage Recovery is filled with loving, skilled, and attentive staff. They use a holistic model, and honor the natural world and other powerful modalities of healing. I had the opportunity to work with Blake Goldstein, and she is kind, compassionate and incredibly skilled at her job. The people who work here are committed to support recovery in this world that can be so hard to navigate, and it was refreshing and encouraging to see the devotion and expertise on each level of the treatment team, including therapists, business development, and administration. Beyond the logistics, I felt a truly loving and warm feel when I went to the residential and IOP location. I would highly recommend Sage for a chance to reset and pivot from whatever is blocking you from living in your highest purpose.

Fullbrook is a really special place with people who genuinely care about the women and families they work with. The staff are compassionate, supportive, and clearly take the time to get to know each person rather than treating everyone the same. Addiction is incredibly hard on both the person struggling and the people who love them, and I really appreciate the way Fullbrook recognizes that. They provide a lot of support while still giving women the structure and accountability they need to move forward. You can tell the people there truly care about the work they do and want to see their clients succeed. Loved my time at Fullbrook. I’m beyond blessed that I was able to have a chance to understand and process my addiction and trauma through this program. Amazing staff that can relate and be so personable and open about their experiences makes it so raw, real and relatable. I made some of my best friends and unbreakable connections there. I first went to the in patient 30 day facility in Spicewood TX and that place was phenomenal!! They give you everything you need to be successful once out in the real world. I am now in Steve’s IOP class and actually look forward to every meeting. There is so much to learn and he has the knowledge to teach it for sure. The program itself is amazing and focuses on what you gain and not what you lose!

This was an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming and understanding. The counselor (Steve) is one of the most knowledgeable and sincere people I've ever had the privilege to meet and learn from. He welcomes all who are willing to put in the work to improve their lives and help others do the same. This is a safe and judgment-free environment that will not only help you and your loved ones understand the daily struggles of addiction, but will also teach you to understand and appreciate those around you in your day-to-day life. I recommend this class to anyone who is looking for help.
