As a former student at Resolution Ranch Academy I honestly can't say enough good things about this place, I was sent here early December 2023 by my parents to be given a chance to turn my life around/to abandon the negative lifestyle that I was living. Before attending the ranch I was on a daily basis using drugs, skipping school, and disregarding authority all together. I won't lie and say this place was easy or that all my problems in life are gone because of my time at the ranch, but I will say if you are truly able to help your kid understand that change needs to happen and that the way he is living currently isn't working and that this place isn't a punishment, you can expect positive change. The staff there do truly care and want to see the best for you many of whom I still keep in contact with after graduating recently January of this year. The therapists there are also really empathetic most especially the one who I was assigned with, Mr. Clayton. He would consistently go out of his way to check in with his other students not because he was required to but because he cared, I can remember the countless times where it would be hours past his shift and he would still be there talking and processing with me to help me deal with my emotions and problems that I was struggling with. Thanks to the ranch I was able to excel at school and was able to turn my thoughts of wanting to dropout into now pursuing my education even further. The teachers there are super supportive and are willing to help you any chance they can and because of this I was able to go into the ranch mid way through my sophomore year of high school and come out a year later a high school graduate. As I mentioned before, yes this place can be difficult however anything worth doing WILL take time and on top of that your effort into whatever it is you are working on. If you choose to go in with a bad mindset chances are not much will change, but if you truly dedicate yourself to change I can promise you that you will be rewarded for your hard work. Lastly, I'd like to thank the ranch once again for all that they have done and the opportunities that they provided for me to be able to succeed in life in a way that I was unsure on how to do before.

Sending our son to Resolution Ranch was a tough decision, but it ended up being the best one we could have made. Struggling with behavioral issues, we felt lost. Resolution Ranch's compassionate staff provided exceptional, individualized care including excellent therapy. The therapists are skilled, family therapy was invaluable, the teachers are invested and the supportive community fostered growth in our son. Our child returned home transformed, with improved self-awareness and coping skills. Even typing this out gives me great joy to see how much better he has been.Needless to say we're deeply grateful and highly recommend Resolution Ranch Academy!!!

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

The women's house feels like a home, the food is good, it's not a cafeteria its chefs and they are awesome. Brand new gym equipment and facilitated exercise. But aside from all of that, it's the people who put their time into the clients at the arbor that I appreciate the most. I had never been to an AA centered treatment facility, and this was life changing. I met with my counselor, Kalli once a week and had the opportunity to meet with her more if I wanted to. I met with my recovery manger, Paula once a week as well. The Psych doctor, Kasey is ON HER GAME. I was able to meet with her within the first week of arrival. I felt like my needs and concerns were met across the board. Being surrounded by nature and horses was very therapeutic. Just about everyone working there is in recovery which I also respect and appreciate. Swing by the barn and meet with the horse ladies they are amazing, even if you don't want to do equine. The Arbor will forever be one of the places that forever changed the course of my life.
I arrived at the Arbor immediately after spending six days in detox. I was terrified, ashamed, overwhelmed, and convinced that my life had completely fallen apart. I believed I had lost my marriage, my family, my career, and everything I had worked so hard for. Walking into residential treatment was never somewhere I imagined my life would take me.
The Arbor gave me much more than a place where I couldn’t drink. It gave me the space to finally understand my addiction, look honestly at myself, begin dealing with the damage my drinking had caused, and learn how to live differently. The staff didn’t simply tell me what I wanted to hear. They challenged me, supported me, encouraged me, and helped me begin doing the work that recovery required.
There was also something incredibly special about the community of women there. We came from completely different backgrounds and walks of life, yet somehow we understood one another in ways that people outside of addiction sometimes can’t. There were tears and incredibly hard days, but there was also laughter, prayer, encouragement, and friendships that made those difficult days a little easier.
My faith also became an important part of my healing. I can look back now and see God’s hand in so many details that I couldn’t understand while I was living through them. I walked into The Arbor feeling broken and hopeless. I did not walk out with a perfect life or every relationship instantly repaired, but I walked out with hope, tools, accountability, and a foundation for recovery.
And then I went home and kept doing the work.
Today, more than three years after my last drink, I am still sober. My marriage and family are healing, and relationships I once feared I had destroyed have experienced restoration that I wasn’t sure was possible. My life today is something I honestly could not have imagined when I first came to The Arbor.
Treatment wasn’t easy. There were moments I wanted to leave. There were things I didn’t want to hear and things about myself I didn’t want to face. But looking back, I am grateful that treatment wasn’t simply made comfortable for me. I needed people willing to help me face the truth while also reminding me that my life was worth fighting for.
I will always be grateful for The Arbor, the staff who poured into me, the women who walked beside me, and the role this place played in my recovery. It will forever be a transforming part of my story.

I went to the Arbor at my rock bottom in 2023. My life was falling apart around me and I could not pull myself out of the despair. My family reached out to the Arbor for help and I’m so grateful that they did. My time at the Arbor changed my life. My addiction had taken me so deep into despair that I didn’t even know where to begin to get my life back on track. The staff at the Arbor took their time to help me learn about myself and find out who I am. The time and care they took to teach me about addiction, boundaries, family systems and reliance on a higher power changed how I was able to approach life. They gave me the support and resources I needed to live a life in recovery and it has been beautiful. My family life, personal accountability and interpersonal relationships have completely shifted to allow for real connection for the first time in my life. This program works if you work it. I was at my lowest point 3 years ago and now I will be getting married to the love of my life this upcoming year. I owe everything to the Arbor and the people who make this place what it is.

Georgetown, TX | Rock Springs is a mental health and addiction treatment center in Georgetown, Texas. They offer mental health services and substance use treatment for adults as well as mental health programs for children and teens. They provide inpatient and outpatient programming for adolescents and adults who are dealing with mental health and addiction disorder | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Our family had a loved one stay at Rock Springs, and we are incredibly grateful for the care they received. Going into the experience, we were nervous after reading some of the reviews. I remember mentioning to a friend what our family was going through, and they shared that they had personally spent over a week at Rock Springs for detox several years ago. They told me they had a positive experience, and hearing that from someone I knew really helped put my mind at ease.
We're so glad we kept an open mind because every person's experience is different. The social worker even explained that each patient's experience can vary depending on the group of patients there at the same time, which made a lot of sense.
Our family member came home feeling like they truly learned valuable coping skills, gained a better understanding of how the brain works, and learned a lot about addiction and mental health. They also met some genuinely kind, supportive people during their stay and felt encouraged by both the staff and fellow patients. They even said the food wasn't bad!
The staff was friendly and compassionate. Liliana, who handled the financial side, was very kind and helpful. Heidi, one of the nurses, made a positive impression, and Amy was also very helpful when we spoke with her.
While communication with the treatment team was understandably limited, we respected that our family member is an adult and that the primary focus was on their recovery. We were able to visit, which meant a great deal to us.
Our loved one came home saying they were genuinely glad they went and are ready to use what they learned in real-life situations. For our family, this experience was truly a blessing. If you're reading reviews because you're scared about making the decision to seek help, I encourage you not to let a few negative experiences make the decision for you. Every person's journey is different, and for our family, Rock Springs made a real difference.

After losing my son last year, Mother’s Day was incredibly difficult for me, and I ended up in the Sunrise Unit at Rock Springs. I cannot say enough good things about the staff there and the care I received.
Annette is legitimately one of the most knowledgeable therapists I’ve ever met — you can mention almost any book or therapeutic concept, and she’s already read it and can discuss it thoughtfully. I learned so many skills from Annette’s groups. She is also deeply empathetic. Aaron, one of the nurses, has such a huge heart and genuinely cares about the patients. Jaimee, a behavioral tech, sat with me, held my hand, and hugged me while I talked about the loss of my son, a moment of kindness I will never forget. Maureen was always positive, attentive, and constantly checking in on everyone to make sure we were okay. I also really loved the yoga session with Jacob; it was one of my favorite parts of the program.
I was specifically on the Sunrise Unit, so I can only speak to that experience, but they truly seem to have figured out how to create a compassionate and supportive environment. Most importantly, I felt heard. My treatment team listened to me, treated me like a person, and helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. This is definitely where I would go if I was ever in crisis again.

I was in the Sunrise unit. The best unit in the hospital in my opinion. I want to thank the entire staff, especially Mrs Gertrude, Ms Sabreelyn, Mrs Yemi, Mrs Nikki, Mr Aaron, Mr Carrey, Mrs Sabrina, Ms Jamie, Christopher, Mrs India, Mrs Natasha and various other nurses, doctors and therapist that helped me along the way and set a path for me to continue on my journey. I met many wonderful women from all walks of life that made me feel seen and heard. My stay was the perfect. If you're in need of a reset or you need detox, this is the place to go and get just that. They also provide continued help when you're out.The food was okay. I knew it would be bland due to others dietary needs but a little salt, pepper and franks goes a long way, lol. I can't thank everyone enough.

I felt so safe in this facility that I've been completely rehabilitated. I'm diagnosed with a lot mental disorders. Bipolar, Schizophrenia, ADD just to name a few. They never gave me any injections that I didn't need. The only thing they did to me that I didn't feel was necessary is lock me in seclusion. I'm not going to shout out specific names again because it was almost every staff. They don't need a shout out they need a raise. I will advocate for this facility and the money I earn from my lawsuits I will use a chunk of it to invest in this facility. Yes this place has flaws but it's full of wonder people who just want to make sure you're safe when you leave. The techs went above and beyond. The nurses were amazing and Doctor Leon was nice to me but definitely has a bit of an ego.

It would serve more veterans if when there was an appointment to building 163, that there be the automatic question- Is this your first visit? If the answer is yes, there should be an automatic question- Would you like a map of the campus leading to building 163?

I went for the detox and the nurses were all so kind. The nurse Caroline even would do fun stuff with me and play games with me because I was bored haha. The food was interesting since it seemed multiple staff cooked on certain days. But for the most part it was amazing food. They really cared and it was a fun experience despite the reason I was there.

I can’t thank this program enough for everything they did for my daughter. When she first arrived, she was scared, emotional, and unsure of what to expect. As a parent, that was hard to watch. But over time, I saw such a beautiful transformation.
She grew to genuinely love the staff, her peers, and the program itself. She always talked about the fun activities, the friendships she made, and how supported she felt every day. It meant so much to know she was in an environment where she felt safe, cared for, and encouraged to grow. The staff treated her with kindness, patience, and compassion, and those are things that I will never forget.
By the time it was time for her to leave, she wasn’t ready to go. She had built such strong bonds with the staff and the other kids that saying goodbye was emotional for everyone. Seeing how much she had grown and how much this place had come to mean to her speaks volumes about the incredible people who work here.
Of course, no place is perfect. We had one small hiccup during our time here, but it was nothing major and it never took away from the wonderful care my daughter received.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this program to other families. My daughter made lifelong memories, formed meaningful friendships, and experienced love and support from people who truly cared about her well-being. Thank you to every staff member who played a part in her journey. Your kindness, dedication, and compassion made a lasting impact on both my daughter and our family. We will always be grateful. Thanks to all Cedar Crest Staff Members ;) Sincerely Jessica & Alexia B đź©·
