As a former student at Resolution Ranch Academy I honestly can't say enough good things about this place, I was sent here early December 2023 by my parents to be given a chance to turn my life around/to abandon the negative lifestyle that I was living. Before attending the ranch I was on a daily basis using drugs, skipping school, and disregarding authority all together. I won't lie and say this place was easy or that all my problems in life are gone because of my time at the ranch, but I will say if you are truly able to help your kid understand that change needs to happen and that the way he is living currently isn't working and that this place isn't a punishment, you can expect positive change. The staff there do truly care and want to see the best for you many of whom I still keep in contact with after graduating recently January of this year. The therapists there are also really empathetic most especially the one who I was assigned with, Mr. Clayton. He would consistently go out of his way to check in with his other students not because he was required to but because he cared, I can remember the countless times where it would be hours past his shift and he would still be there talking and processing with me to help me deal with my emotions and problems that I was struggling with. Thanks to the ranch I was able to excel at school and was able to turn my thoughts of wanting to dropout into now pursuing my education even further. The teachers there are super supportive and are willing to help you any chance they can and because of this I was able to go into the ranch mid way through my sophomore year of high school and come out a year later a high school graduate. As I mentioned before, yes this place can be difficult however anything worth doing WILL take time and on top of that your effort into whatever it is you are working on. If you choose to go in with a bad mindset chances are not much will change, but if you truly dedicate yourself to change I can promise you that you will be rewarded for your hard work. Lastly, I'd like to thank the ranch once again for all that they have done and the opportunities that they provided for me to be able to succeed in life in a way that I was unsure on how to do before.

Sending our son to Resolution Ranch was a tough decision, but it ended up being the best one we could have made. Struggling with behavioral issues, we felt lost. Resolution Ranch's compassionate staff provided exceptional, individualized care including excellent therapy. The therapists are skilled, family therapy was invaluable, the teachers are invested and the supportive community fostered growth in our son. Our child returned home transformed, with improved self-awareness and coping skills. Even typing this out gives me great joy to see how much better he has been.Needless to say we're deeply grateful and highly recommend Resolution Ranch Academy!!!

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. Georgetown, TX | The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare in the Austin, Texas, area has residential substance abuse treatment programs for men and women over the age of 18. I came in completely broken and out of options, and from the moment I arrived, the staff met me with compassion, honesty, and the structure I desperately needed. This was the first place where I felt truly seen—not just as someone struggling with addiction, but as a human being who deserved healing and hope.
The Arbor gave me the gift of desperation that turned into the gift of freedom. I left with tools, confidence, and a sense of purpose I didn’t think I’d ever feel again. If you are struggling—or if you love someone who is—this is where you want to be. I am living proof that recovery is possible, and The Arbor is the reason I’m sober today.
Thank you, Arbor family. I owe you everything.

I meant to share this sooner, but life after treatment got busy fast. Looking back now, I’m beyond grateful for my time at The Arbor because it gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to step back into life with confidence.
Reaching out for help wasn’t easy. I felt ashamed for losing the sobriety I had worked hard for, and I didn’t want to admit I needed treatment again. But reaching out to The Arbor was truly the best decision I made for myself. Taylor Anne Ramsey was the first person I connected with, and she met me with nothing but compassion. She never judged me—she just wanted to help. From there, she connected me with Tiffany Tidwell, who immediately made me feel safe and reassured that I was in good hands. That was the moment I knew The Arbor’s treatment would live up to the warmth and energy both Taylor Anne and Tiffany showed me.
Within days of arriving, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—it was immediate. Rachel had an incredible way of being both kind and firm, holding us accountable while still showing care. Tamara and Bella were amazing in our one-on-ones, offering thoughtful feedback that pushed me to look within and begin real healing. Mike, my RA, never sugarcoated things, and I honestly appreciated that tough love more than I can explain.
Some people stood out not just for what they did, but for the size of their hearts. Jimmie, Miss J, and Miranda were unforgettable. They carried so much love and energy into the program that you couldn’t help but feel lifted up by them.
And I can’t leave out the meals—Dom and her kitchen team made food that wasn’t just good, it was made with love. It sounds small, but those meals were such a comfort and part of what made The Arbor feel like home.
The programming itself was excellent—structured, engaging, and exactly what I needed at the time. But more than the curriculum, it was the people who made the difference. The staff didn’t just work there; they cared, they showed up, and they created an environment where healing was truly possible.
My experience at The Arbor was GREAT. No complaints, and I will recommend it for as long as I can. I walked away with tools, support, and a renewed sense of hope—and that’s something I’ll always carry with me.

I was referred to The Arbor by a close friend who got sober here 5 years ago, and I’m so glad I trusted them. I was turned off to AA before coming here because of the whole God thing. I had gone to other treatment centers before and tried alternative recovery programs, but never cracked open a big book until I got here. I came in through The Arbor’s doors as a husk of a human being. I was miserable in my addiction and miserable the multiple times I tried to get sober on my own. I couldn’t stand to sit in my own skin. I was desperate for a solution - a way out of my suffering. I gave my all to this program and trusted the direction of the staff and reaped the benefits almost immediately. My recovery manager, Mike, changed my life. He loved me when I couldn’t love myself. Never in any of my past treatment experiences have we had someone directly in charge of our recovery program. The recovery managers act as a stand in sponsor while you’re in treatment and hold you accountable for progressing in your step work. This is a true dual diagnosis facility as well. My therapist Gabi was very supportive in my journey here, as I do struggle with co-occurring disorders. EMDR is an option for those with trauma who are staying long term (which I highly recommend if you can). Equine therapy was another asset - I had Danielle and worked with Tilly and gained a whole new set of tools for coping and regulation that I wouldn’t have gained in traditional talk therapy. The psychiatrists and medical team are highly qualified and don’t just push pills for the sake of pushing pills. Every single staff member at The Arbor is committed to helping you grow in your recovery. From the admissions team (shout out Tiffany) to the support staff, this place made me feel like I was in good hands every step of the way. I left with a newfound sense of self worth and direction and confidence in myself to keep working the program. Thank you to The arbor for giving me my life back. I highly recommend this facility for any out there who are still suffering and genuinely want to live a life worth living.

I can honestly say this sober living/PHP program saved my life. When I first came in, I was broken, scared, and didn’t know how to live without using. What I found here was structure, accountability, and most importantly, support from people who understood exactly what I was going through.
The house/program wasn’t just a roof over my head it became a safe place where I could rebuild myself, one day at a time. The rules, meetings, and responsibilities might have felt hard at first, but I came to realize they were teaching me how to live again.
The friendships I built, the guidance I received, and the sense of community here gave me the foundation I needed to stay sober and grow. I’ll always be grateful for the staff and my housemates who stood by me when I couldn’t stand on my own.
If you’re struggling and looking for a place to heal, I truly believe this home can give you that chance. It gave me mine, and it changed my life.

Marla is not someone I would send my family to ever again. Sadly...there are great counselors and there are counselors who are detrimental and Marla is the later. I know of one young man who has been counselored by this office for nearly 10 years and has never made amends with his family. Another additional two young men who have both seen Marla have chosen to cut ties with many of their family members.
I know what you are thinking...we are probably one of "those families" but we are not. Our family surrounds people with love and support, which is how we ended up at Bridge Counseling. We sought support and we ended of with Marla.

Wonderful facility and staff. Great food too. They let you have cigarette breaks throughout the day too, not many places have that feature for patients these days.

A safe place to get yourself together when you fall. A place that helps those who are ready to help themselves. For me, it was a place of true salvation and I’ll never ever forget it and the people who were ready and willing to help me get through the mess I was in.

We drive here from BCS for my husbands care. Going to the “VA clinic” is about as fun as sitting on hold for an hour. However, I’ve found that every employee I’ve passed or observed is not only kind, but enthusiastic to help. (Specifically the two ladies at Desk 2C)
They are both kind, and eager to assist every time I hear them speak to someone.
This place is clean, seems pretty organized, and from what I can tell the patients and their families are in great hands!

I went for the detox and the nurses were all so kind. The nurse Caroline even would do fun stuff with me and play games with me because I was bored haha. The food was interesting since it seemed multiple staff cooked on certain days. But for the most part it was amazing food. They really cared and it was a fun experience despite the reason I was there.

This place got some memories fr. I feel like God touches ppl fr here. When I got here I thought everything was over, until I got here, and just after 20 mins, I met someone who gave me life again. And then I started to realize a bunch. Each and every kid in the unit was broken in some sort of way, and I felt like God was touching them in some sort of way. Keep out your head Little homie, cuz das a scary place to get lost in. I would like to thank Mrs.Tyson for never being scared to give us the truth, and going out her way to meet the kids needs. Thanks, and love to Mrs.Tyson, Mrs.Jessica, and Mrs.Gloria. I have some really good memories in this place. Your story is never over, never give up, because you answer to all you questions may be answered next week. The thing abt life is that, u never know, opportunities come and go. It's up to YOU to make your life what u want it to be. The future is what you make it. Make today better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today. To live your life properly, you have to evolve your mindset, and make it a mindset of your being. Thanks to this moment in Cedar, I'vd overcome a lot of struggles, mainly the ones with my parents, I got rid of that crazy step mom, and i'm actually able to talk to my dad now. My music career is stepping up majorly. And i'm finally clean, and I;m on a record. Been clean since May. Got in here in March, so I get it if it takes time, I was there too. my feelings so lost and I was so confused with them, I was kicked out, or I just ran away. I was in random ppl's houses. I been there. But it does get better, but always remember, ppl can't help or change you if you don't let them in, and let them help you.
