My time at MTR Rehab was truly transformative, and I can confidently say it's one of the best rehab facilities I've ever experienced. I left feeling equipped with a wealth of new tools and strategies to support my recovery journey. The program provided me with invaluable insights and practical skills that I now use daily. What truly sets MTR apart is the exceptional staff. I'm incredibly grateful for the dedication and care shown by Mr. Nick, Mr. Jonathan, Miss Kay, Miss Lynn, and Miss Audrey. A special thank you to my therapist, Miss Melanie, and to Mr. Sam. They created a supportive and understanding environment where I felt safe to explore my challenges and develop effective coping mechanisms. They genuinely invested in my well-being and provided me with everything I needed to work on my recovery from addiction. I feel genuinely blessed to have had their guidance and support. I highly recommend MTR to anyone seeking a comprehensive and compassionate approach to recovery.

I was there around 2006 and it was good I have not one complaint! The structure and responsibilities they give ARE for Your own benefits! All the bad reviews about they did this and didn't do this they were rude LoL you just came out of a very strict environment and these people are trying to help get you back out there living so do your program and stop complaining! I recently had a loved one go through Burning Trees program. Let me start off by saying it was a huge Blessing having him there. It was by the grace of God that we were all put there. The entire Staff and program was everything I didn’t know of, but everything I could have hoped for. Both my son as well as my wife and I learned so much about how addiction is truly a family disease, that has to be worked on by the whole Family. He as well as our family has taken away so much from the time spent there and also the family program offered there. I thought going into this, that rehab was time spent in the program and then get out and live it alone which seemed hard for me to grasp. The staff at Burning Tree showed me that they are there for you while you’re learning the steps, during aftercare, as well as your journey through life. My hats off to everyone over at Burning Tree for showing my son a better way of everything, and me a better way of everything. Hunter, Doug, Russell, and all other staff are such great humans that God sent into our lives and for that I am forever grateful. That doesn’t take away from the countless other counselors and people in this journey, but they were closest to me when I need updates and reassurance. I have to speak about the Family Program in particular real quick without trying to give to much “unsolicited advice”, but this program did so much for my wife and I reconnecting and strengthen our relationship with our son. After seeing everything and learning everything that the program has to offer, it has opened so much communication between us. Doug Wade leads a phenomenal family program and has much knowledge and so many ways of showing one how to “Love Differently”. I am so happy that we all got to experience that. My son is going on 4 months sober now, and is currently in his after treatment process. I’ll leave this Review with one of my Life Lasting Take aways that I got from the Program at Burning Tree. “No Matter what happens, We are right where we need to be.” Thanks for Reading.

Recovery Unplugged was a god send. Im truly appreciative of their trauma program and of their staff. I’ve never been to treatment before and i was worried staff would just be there for a paycheck but that wasn't the case whatsoever. Staff was kind and patient. They take the time to see how you're doing and truly care. Counselors are real awesome. To be honest I didn't even know it was a trauma center and when I found out I was able to let go of the trauma thats been haunting me for all these years. I thought i was going to take it all to my grave and im glad my counselor Amy made me feel comfortable and safe to do so. The techs are awesome and treat everyone with respect and kindness. The food is awesome there as well. If you have dietary restrictions or needs they will cater to those needs and are super friendly. Alumni coordinators are super friendly and check up on ya after you leave the program. They also set up these cool events you can attend to for free as RU Alumni. This place ROCKS! Highly recommend it.

This place is so amazing. I was just a scared, strong out girl from east Texas when I arrived arvRecivery Unplugged on Albert Road. They did my intake at 3am, made me comfortable, and put me to bed. I went to sleep and woke up to the most amazing staff waiting to greet me and start the process of detoxing my mind and body and getting me well. Throughout my stay. I was treated with the utmost respect. There was not once that I felt like less than family to these wonderful people. The nurses were at my bedside checking my vitals, the techs were assessing my comfort. My dog was accepted and loved. After detox, the work began. But it never felt hard or overwhelming. The program is easy to follow. There was always someone who could answer questions or concerns. Even in the middle of the night. I just graduated the full 4 month program for Recovery Unplugged. I am a far cry from the girl I came in as. I am a sober woman, in Austin, with an apartment a job and a bright future. Thank you recovery Unplugged. I can not express my gratitude enough. You guys are incredible

I had a great experience at Willow Springs. I had never been to a treatment facility before so I didn't know what to expect. The staff was compassionate and very receptive to any issues I brought up. They offer 12 step and non 12 step programs so you can decide which recovery plan works for you and I use principles from all of them to maintain my recovery. This was my new patient visit. Staff was very friendly and efficient. My wait in the exam room was an hour. Dr. Gupta apologized for the wait. Commented that “they were so understaffed “. Also, she kept yawning…said she was so tired. But, she took time with me to go over my medical history and explained her treatment in detail. I have been very pleased with my medical team in the Ascencion Seton system. It’s so nice to have all my providers in a system they can communicate. I enrolled as a patient at New Dimensions with no prior experience with iop. I called all around Houston and I gave this center a chance because they were the first ones to pick up the phone with a sense of compassion in their voices. I am an adult in my late 20s with alcohol and substance abuse history and I have ptsd from past traumas in my life as well as severe manic depression. My life had gotten to a place of complete unmanageability. I was scared that my diseases would eventually cause my inevitable death and I did not know any of the tools I needed to be a healthy functioning adult. All of that slowly and subtly started to change and improve because of the professional guidance I received from ALL of my therapists and counselors there. I learned how to replace bad habits with healthy ones and I choose my well being over the things that I can't change on a daily basis, one day at a time. I will always feel a sense of gratitude to this facility.

Skyward recovery is the place you want to be! I was so scared this time and alone that I didn't think I was going to make it out alive. My mind body and soul were tired and ready for change from "dead end" rehab facilities. When I looked up skyward my main focus was to go get the treatment I needed that was going to focus on mostly on the behaviors along with addiction. Let's face it, we are not good at adulting because some of us started our addiction during our childhood, so our thoughts are not focused on being in the solution but remaining in the problem. I was able to work on my inner child and as well as my inner critic and attain the right tools and steps to works towards the love I now have for myself. If you are done and want a different approach at recovery I fully recommend looking into Skyward. They are not only saving lives but changing the direction in the recovery movement Thank you to the staff (especially Stephanie)for all the love and support you gave me and for believing in me when I couldn't even do it for myself 💜

Skyward Recovery Addiction Treatment Center has truly been a beacon of hope and transformation in my journey to overcome alcoholism. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was met with compassion, understanding, and an unwavering commitment to my recovery. The staff at the center are nothing short of extraordinary—they are not only skilled professionals but also deeply caring individuals who genuinely invest in the success and well-being of each person they support. The programs offered at the Skyward Recovery Center are comprehensive and tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual. The holistic approach they take, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction, has been instrumental in my healing process. Through their innovative therapies, support groups, and one-on-one counseling sessions, I was able to rebuild my life and regain a sense of purpose that I had lost for so long. But what truly sets this center apart is the sense of community and belonging it fosters. At Skyward Recovery Center, I never felt alone in my struggles. The camaraderie and support from the staff have been invaluable, helping me to stay motivated and focused on my recovery goals. Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude for the Skyward Recovery Center. They have given me the tools, support, and encouragement I needed to reclaim my life and embrace a brighter, healthier future. I will forever be thankful for their dedication and for helping me find my way back to a life of sobriety.

I have waited for over a year to write this review to ensure my time at Sage was indeed "life-changing". I can now confidently say, my decision to seek therapy there was one of the best decisions I have ever made. For over 30 years I struggled with depression and anxiety and turned to alcohol to cope. But thanks to the therapists and counselors at the center, I now have the resources to manage my emotions in a healthy way. I feel like I've regained control of my life, and I'm excited to move forward with a new sense of confidence and purpose. I also attend their alumni group, which offers individuals free, weekly social events that provide ongoing support, education, and networking opportunities. It's an excellent resource for anyone in recovery who wants to continue their journey towards wellness and a better life. Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Recovery Center to anyone struggling with addiction or mental health issues. The environment is wonderful, the people are fantastic, and the support you receive is truly "life-changing". If you're looking for a place to help you get back on track, this is it.

Best time of my life; it was the staff, the food and the people along side me as patients, that were all really lovely. Of course there were little things I didn’t like so much but they were usually minor like eating in front of others.( I have severe anxiety) Words cannot express how grateful I am to this place, and maybe it was because I went to an amazing unit but I felt safe and comfortable. I’ve actually joked to my family saying “If I ever have another mental breakdown, this is where I wanna go”.😂 I expected the reviews to be incredibly high though so I’m quite surprised, maybe I got the location wrong? (This is simply my perspective of my time here, don’t take my word for it, simply consider it for a moment.)I actually cried so hard when I had to leave, and the staff was comforting me, making sure that I was alright.I felt like I had to leave a review just to wish another person would have this experience as well.

edit three years later cus i did actually end up returning in 2024. still the sweetest staff, unit ATP rules yo.. and the food is amazing. superb bedding and amenties. ur not a patient here, just another human being receiving genuine and real care from other human beings. cannot recommend menninger enough. what a saving grace [2021 review] - i've been to a few different hospitals, and menninger puts every other hospital to shame. the staff here actually made me feel cared about. the therapy was helpful, and the nurses are easy to get along with. the food is outstanding! they had a panini grill, dessert everyday, a cafe, and so many food options. they have a nice pool, that i've never used, but my friends enjoyed going. :) the rooms are amazing as well. they have very clean rooms with a very comfortable chair and lovely bedding as well. you actually have space on the bed, wow! the overall experience was so joyful. i love this place and i'll keep the memories i have with me for such a long time. you'll meet some of the best people there, from different locations as well. easily the best i've been to :)

I have nothing but good things to say about this program and what they teach in their classes. They welcome you into their class and help you to understand a different perspective on life. If you get the opportunity to meet with Agatha or Alethe, you will not be disappointed. Great Program!

Best thing I have ever done! PRC not only helped me learn about my addiction but it also broke down some walls of abuse and showed me ways to move forward. I also learned how to deal with a lot of grief that I had not expressed. My relationship with my children has been restored and I couldn't be happier. Thank You PRC

I have been to a few recovery centers and CARS is by far the best. They work with you and actually care about your progress and how you are. Kim is by far the best counselor I could’ve asked for, she is kind, caring and is the best part of CARS in my opinion. Also thw nurses there, Leah and Art work SO hard making sure everyone gets taken care of. I can’t say one bad thing about any of the counselors for that matter because they are all awesome.

Love it here! They have helped me in so many ways! Especially Kim, she is an amazing counselor and person. I feel like I can tell her anything without feeling judged or like I have gone backwards in my treatment that I just need to fix whatever problem I'm having and still feel like I'm accomplishing life in a positive way and that once I fix that issue I'm still doing good so thank you Kim for making feel that way and keeping me on track!! ❤️❤️❤️

I have been to 7 different clinics between Utah, cali, Texas; and CARS in Tomball is the best I have been to. If it weren’t for Kimberley there is no way I would be doing as good as I am. She has been there to talk me through hard times, reminded me how strong I am, if something comes up (out of town, or surgeries etc.) Kimberley, the nurses, and doctor do all they can to accommodate my needs. Other clinics made me feel like a burden, or like I was putting them out, or a pain. I have never had a counselor as amazing as Kimberly. I thought I was losing my dad, and the support Kimberly gave me, I have never had. She didn’t rush me out, I had to go back to my home state and she helped me make a relapse prevention plan, checked in on me, and has never made me feel like an addict. She has helped set me up to succeed, not fail. I have almost two years sober and if I didn’t have her support as well as Leah and Art and Chase I wouldn’t have made it this far. I’ve never had this kind of support in a program as I do now. Kimberly is the reason I stay at this clinic; “the best counselor I’ve had.” Leah, Art and Chase are all bonuses! If you’re looking for somewhere for yourself or family, CARS is the best. The counselors, nurses, and doc are all positives to this place

This VA is a joke. There is always something that goes wrong. Either they are giving me medicine that makes me sick or I'm allergic to and break me out with rashes. Today I took off of work for three appointments. They only saw me for 20 minute questions. I didn't get blood work, paper smear or talk to my therapist. I called Wednesday to verify my appts for today. I took off for nothing today. This place is so unreliable!!!!! No wonder veterans go crazy!

The staff here has some attitude and they’re very rude. If you ever try calling the clinic you’ll have your call dropped regardless of how many times you call. This has been the absolute worst location in all my experience dealing with the VA. I’m stunned with all the negative reviews addressing the same issues that nothing has been done.

A few months ago I went into Anaphylactic shock; we rushed to this hospital and man! From the front desk clerk to the doctor himself- the entire staff were quick, professional and overall just awesome! They calmed me down, helped me right away and were overall just nice. I love that entire staff, they saved my life. To any of the staff that reads this-- if no one told y'all how much they appreciate you then just know that this 1 human soul does. Thank you again

I went in to give blood prior to my appointment and was in and out rather quickly. Went in a week later for my afternoon Doctor appointment and was in and out within an hour. Dr Chandy was very thorough and friendy, as was the staff. I was quite surprised given the 3.5 reviews I read previous to my appointment, however, I don't like to assume anything without experiencing it for myself. The only thing I didn't like was waiting over a month for my appointment, but to be fair, I've also had very long wait times in the private sector, some close to two months.

My child got diagnosed with adhd and odd. Was there a week and was still hurting his self there, they just sent him back on his way without finding a solution. He currently takes medication and there electronic system is down so therefore he can’t get his medication and they sent him home with prescription scripts knowing you can’t fill a controlled substance with paper slips it has to be sent electronically. If your child is in need of help do not take them to this facility

They got my son on the right medication after having a horrible experience at another facility!! My son is actually doing a lot better after coming home from here. They stayed in touch with us, called us daily and gave updates. Was very impressed with them. Yes they have rules the kids need to follow, and that’s good because everything has rules. Yes they spent time in the group room watching a movie but that gave him time to think about what he did to get to where he was. I would highly recommend them!!

I'm sharing my thoughts and feelings today freely, because I'm not ashamed that I had to get help for my addiction. I've been in other methadone programs in Houston, and they were good, but Conroe clinic is GREAT! The staff, from the medicating nurse to the counselors, and even the financial staff, are very friendly and informative on ANYTHING I've ever needed help with or info about. I feel safe and secure while there, and can call anytime of the day or night to speak to my counselor- and that is truly an important thing when you need someone you can trust to talk to. They are honest and caring, and would never steer you in the wrong direction for such important things like your physical or mental health. I feel that I can talk to ANY ONE of them about ANYTHING, and not be judged or disvalued as a person. They are there to help YOU, and they ALL take that responsibility seriously. IF YOU NEED HELP, THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO FIND IT!!! Call and talk to them, and you'll hear it in thier voices. It's not just a paycheck for any of them, helping others is a calling, not a job, and you'll never go wrong by calling to inquire about thier services. You've come to the right place for help when you call or go there!!! FOR SURE!!!
