The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. When I say staff, I mean EVERYONE. From the techs, to the medical staff, to the housekeeping(they do your laundry), to the groundskeepers, counselors, everybody. This is world-class, luxury, top-tier care. If you want to do it right and you believe that you get what you pay for, this is the place for you. I'm a current resident who has been here for just over a week and am already planning to extend my stay another 30 days.

More Than Rehab saved my life. Every phase prepared me for my new life in recovery. Residential made detoxing from substances and dealing with the emotions that comes with that, as comfortable as they could given the circumstances. The “at home” made it very easy to stick to me wanting to be in treatment and getting help. The setting made you more comfortable, which helped be more honest and open about your addiction. The staff were all great, considerate, and accommodating to every person there. They made us a big part of the MTR family as opposed to feeling like just an addict. I would definitely recommend anyone needing help to come here.

With such an incredible team of therapist, clinicians, house managers, all the way down to the weekend guys, man everybody at MTR always wore their heart on their sleeve. Making the decision to go to MTR to continue my recovery was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Words cannot express my gratitude to the staff, from top to bottom, at both the PHP and VIOP programs. They are kind, compassionate and give you all the tools you need to continue in your recovery after you have completed the program. Most, if not all, of the staff have had battled with addiction, so they teach from experience and only want to see you succeed. There may be many different facilities and programs to choose from if you are looking for a way to regain your life back from addiction, but in my book, MTR is hands down the best.

Margaret was my tech for my TMS treatments. She made my experience so pleasant. I felt so warm and safe as the TMS machine can be intimidating with the loud tapping noise. Margaret was also very knowledgeable of these treatments and so all my questions were answered. And the best part is that I started feeling better and this really helped with my depression. I would highly recommend the TMS treatments at Anew Era, especially if Margaret is your tech!

This program is just different. Ive been in programs before and they were very surface level, but if youre willing to put in the work, these therapists and counselors are determined to help you in the healing process and deeply. Im really glad I took this step for myself to become a more well person and I hope others choose this step for themselves too with this program because it is worth it. You are worth it. And they will advocate for you all the way.

I didn't like it at first because I had subconsciously thought of it as a "group failures" class along with the stigma and bad rep that media shows of such programs, but once I paid attention, I realized that these programs provide tools and methods of how we can identify the traumas that are buried within ourselves.

I came seeking help for my daughter, they are helping her so much. I've seen a change in here since the therapy has started. It was overwhelming for me as a parent to seek help part of a Mental Hospital, but it has helped her tremendously and I'm glad I took her there. Thank you to the staff and therapist for your help. Always great experiences here. I’ve been going here for almost ten years and everyone I’ve encountered for the most part has been really helpful and kind. I love this clinic ! I love everyone there Ms. Laura , Art , Ms. Jennifer , and Mr. Daniel. They really care about us and I'm so happy to be there. I have a clinic close to me in Conroe Texas but I would rather go far that's 40 to 45 minutes away just to go to there clinic cause they are such wonderful people. They feel like my family ! Okay, I thought I'd give a shout out to this VA outpatient center in Katie. Because I see the low numbers, and I don't think it's a fair deal to give a negative review for negative experiences in a system that's full of bureaucracy. When people are just trying to do their jobs, the only complaint I have about this clinic is that I can't keep a primary care physician. They keep leaving, but that has nothing to do with the clinic that's, I don't know, maybe the theory. The doctors aren't happy with the pay or the bureaucracy or the workload. I don't know, but it's a lot asked of them to help us veterans. So I appreciate the effort that they put out every day. They come to work, they deal with us. Sometimes we can be difficult as vets, because we have a lot of issues that we're dealing with the military can really screw you up Lionel, so for them to have the patience, anybody in the medical field, my mom was ALV. N for 24 years before she passed and my hat goes off to anybody in the medical profession. Because I know it's not easy work. Some of the stories she would tell when she came home were horrifying, and I hope that I don't ever become one of those problem patient. Um, but this is just a shout out to the K. V. A the wait times aren't that long. I've never had to wait 22 long for an appointment and if they have the availability in the schedule, they'll fit you in.So I guess it's all a matter of perspective.You can go into a situation with a negative attitude and get a negative experience, or you can go in with a positive attitude.And if negative things happen, they brush off of you.So my advice is to just be calm and be patient.

Center for discovery saved my life. The bad reviews scared me at first and I was nervous to go. Once I got there I found a place where I felt understood and seen. The first time I went I did not take it seriously. I’m happy I got the chance for them to help me again. One thing people don’t understand is treatment is not magic, you have to put in the work too. They helped aid me in my recovery process and now I feel better than ever. It is what you make of it. The staff is absolutely incredible and easy to talk to and bond with. I met patients there that I now consider my friends. It’s helpful to be around people that understand. Chrystal is an amazing staff member who is respectful and caring. All the nurses are very thoughtful and they made every day a little easier. I found that saying goodbye was hard but every person there helped shape me into who I am right now. I now can look forward to my future and am excited to live and feel like myself again. Center for discovery was fun and helpful I am always grateful. I highly recommend getting treatment here.

My commitrd girlfriend wenf here and they had staff call me and lie fo me and say she left in the middle of the night and to never call looking for her . I never found her she eventully called and said she went fo jail , i called the jail and they never had anyone by that name they allowed her to have social media accounts, take and send pictures to other men , and find a way to let her continue ask me for money then lie and cover for her when i would call up there. She didnt receive any treatment and is still codependent and a compulive liar . I am a functioning drinker and from time to time do things addicts cant i was oing to live this life she is being told she needs to bd able to live free from her past. They didnt help her find Jesus , shes using quigi boards. Was taking glp 1 medicine while there and was datig a staff member and now after one month is publicly stating shes getting married while i was never told anything .. im a fantstic human that doesnt lie but will omit unnecessary information to outsiders that dint need ti know all of my personal business. They made her stay about me and never even had. Clue that she was the monster to eberyone in her path and co signed her bs. Now i fear shes kiving wktj someone she doesnt know working a miniju wage job running from her fears and responsibilities . While im getting hlessing after blessing i pray BVCasa wakesnup and does better and treats people instead of just makes a profit on them. God will punch her ticket soon and she will be caught blindsided naked and afraid somewhere and out little girls will suffer for it. Im sure my persistence in making her face accountability wil be what she blames but my heart breaks that the system didnt even try yo consider what wil happen to those in the wake ... Maybe God will wake her uo and she will realize her anger she projects is of her own creation and if shd would just stop and apologize and recognize she just needs to replant with the person God wnted to bless her through is the easiest and moat joyful route to healing after a small dose of humility.. shes about to humiliated and I hate that or her. He teacher or counselor ahould have forseen this and had us do a couples therapy to get the truth from their own obsrvations.. shes hunting for anyone to use to keep from having to do it alone or with someone who isnt going to keep their thumb on her neck

I left back in April after being employed for 5 years. It was a personal choice to leave and in no way had anything to do with the company itself. I will say that BVCASA is contracted through TDCJ. So they follow TDCJ rules. The program is what you make of it. If you behave badly, then you get in trouble and have consequences. The clients are there to correct bad behaviors they learn in prison and from the lives they have lived. To the families, please remember that loved ones may alter the truth to fit their narrative. Again, they are there to help correct the behaviors they learned in prison. The job itself has bless me with many things and many opportunities. I will forever be grateful. ❤️

Just leaving a comment as a program volunteer. I honestly feel like the Boaz House provides Christian support, sisterhood advice and valuable connections. Between religious studies, counseling, church and volunteer opportunities each person in the program has the opportunity for success. These skills only helped girls transition into sober living. I have seen a lot of growth with girls invested in the program. For girls who left the program, there were a lot prayers and real loss felt. The staff member I worked closely with definitely gave 120% love & support to the girls.

The Boaz House transformed my life in more way than one. I have battled with addiction for 17 years and been to a couple rehabs none was like this one. Christina truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to help them. I didn't think this program was for me but after completing it and seeing how much this changes lives I have decided to stay here, became staff and am now giving back.
