Just leaving a comment as a program volunteer. I honestly feel like the Boaz House provides Christian support, sisterhood advice and valuable connections. Between religious studies, counseling, church and volunteer opportunities each person in the program has the opportunity for success. These skills only helped girls transition into sober living. I have seen a lot of growth with girls invested in the program. For girls who left the program, there were a lot prayers and real loss felt. The staff member I worked closely with definitely gave 120% love & support to the girls.

My friend completed this program and her life has never been the same! She is now married, has a new baby and has a great corporate job. This would not have been possible if she had not been discipled and had the care she received from The Boaz House.

The Boaz House transformed my life in more way than one. I have battled with addiction for 17 years and been to a couple rehabs none was like this one. Christina truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to help them. I didn't think this program was for me but after completing it and seeing how much this changes lives I have decided to stay here, became staff and am now giving back.

The Orchard changed my life! Between the staff, counselors, and management there unified goal is something I have never seen! From the minute you arrive you are greeted with hellos, smiles, and staff focused solely on you and your recovery. With accomodations similar to a 5 star resort you won't find another facility that pays attention to the little details. Lastly, what I believe makes The Orchard the best in the country....is there program. While learning about addiction, Counselors work with you to address the underlying issues that started you down your addiction journey. I was able to tackle years of trauma and unspoken issues that once addressed freed me from the shackles of addiction. Since leaving the Orchard I have remained sober and The O will always be a place of healing and hope! If your looking for the real deal- this is the place you want to be!

The staff was all very nice, extremely helpful with the TMS process and Ins/Billing. They gave me several different payment options after the 1st of the year when my deductible started over. The TMS procedure itself was not painful and helped lower my medication dosages. I feel like it has helped me. I look forward to see the full results after my treatments are complete.

Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. He taught me about what my brain is going through and actually backs it up with scientific studies and evidence. I am excited about my future today. Like I said PRC is a game changer.

I've been to a bunch of rehab centers over the years some were decent, and others left a lot to be desired. When I first walked into Positive Recovery, I was expecting the same old, repetitive lessons I'd heard a million times before. Boy, was I in for a surprise! At the Cinco Ranch location, Glenn completely redefined my experience. His approach is genuinely refreshing he creates a safe, welcoming space that makes you actually look forward to coming back.I remember my first Monday group session; it was impressive to see a mix of people, including some who've been attending for months. One person even mentioned they drive over 40 miles just to be part of the group! Glenn s unique style is not only engaging and fun, but it also provides practical, real-life insights that go far beyond just staying sober. His sessions taught me valuable lessons about life, renewing my passion and hope for the future. If you're looking for a recovery program that feels more like a supportive community rather than a repetitive class, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thanks, Glenn, for breathing new life into my recovery journey!

PRC Cinco was the perfect choice for my recovery. I completed the PHP program and cannot recommend it enough to those battling addiction. The program and curriculum are wonderful, but it s Glenn (the counselor), who I will always owe my sobriety and so much more to. He made me feel comfortable and seen from day 1 and his passion and knowledge in what he does is inspiring. I will continue after care as long as the doors are open!

New Dimensions has helped me to start to change negative thought patterns that I have struggle with for years. Their staff is fantastic and caring. I enrolled as a patient at New Dimensions with no prior experience with iop. I called all around Houston and I gave this center a chance because they were the first ones to pick up the phone with a sense of compassion in their voices. I am an adult in my late 20s with alcohol and substance abuse history and I have ptsd from past traumas in my life as well as severe manic depression. My life had gotten to a place of complete unmanageability. I was scared that my diseases would eventually cause my inevitable death and I did not know any of the tools I needed to be a healthy functioning adult. All of that slowly and subtly started to change and improve because of the professional guidance I received from ALL of my therapists and counselors there. I learned how to replace bad habits with healthy ones and I choose my well being over the things that I can't change on a daily basis, one day at a time. I will always feel a sense of gratitude to this facility.

Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) is a substance abuse treatment facility in Houston, Texas. They offer outpatient programming, which provides flexibility for those wanting to continue working or attending school while getting care. The location is convenient, near the George Bush and William P. Hobby airports and the University of Houston for
I want to first say that my time at the PaRC was a wonderful experience and was probably the best 30 days of my life. Most of the personnel working there were exceptional humans and 85% are actually in recovery so they know exactly what you are going through. The support, the mental wellbeing staff, counselors and care coordination team are, for the most part phenomenal. I wanted to give a big shout out to Ernie, Anthony, Tuliesha, Cecelia, Amad, Resha, Derrick, Darrel, Gabriel, Gabriella, Ryan, Veronica, David, Lilly, Ms Linda, Xavier, Tara and Mary as well as John A, Tonya and Joel from the Alumni team for their exceptional support throughout my stay and help developing a rock solid exit plan. All this being said, I want to make people aware that this facility has no problem filling their building well past the capacity for the number of staff they have. There were quite often too few nurses to handle the number of people that had to get medications both in the morning and at night. Zero processes were in place and it became a zoo. I can only speak for my counselor, but by the time I left she was too busy as she completely missed setting up my family one on one. She just stated "I just ran out of time". In addition, my care coordinator was a nice guy but completely and utterly dropped the ball on my sober living and a few other big ticket items I needed to depart and I was nearly left without a place to stay (homeless) if I had not taken action. I attempted to stay involved but I was just told to "trust me" and nothing happened until the day before I left and then they were all in mandatory training. (thank you Cecelia and Resha for helping me bail this situation out). The thing that really affected my stay the most and what you the reader need to be made aware of was that there were several events of drug use in the facility, specifically THC vape pens. The facility needs to do a much better job of monitoring for illicit drugs. They state they have a drug dog on placards around the facility, but there was never one present during my stay and I suspect this was from the days when they belonged to Memorial Herman. The worst part, on one occasion, a resident was caught using the drugs, was not remorseful, was not taking the program seriously at all (did not attend groups, slept all day, wandered around smoking vape inside, etc) and was just allowed to stay. When this was escalated, the only answer given was we did not know the whole story, but what more to the story is there than they used drugs and got caught ( I was present during this entire escapade) The rules for the facility that are received on day 1 state clearly that possession, distribution or use of illicit drugs is strictly prohibited and are grounds for "IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE". I spoke up about this during our community group and was pulled to the side and found out it was because this person did not have a place to go. I stated that they do have a place to go, they can either be kicked out like every other person would be for doing the same thing or moved to a higher level facility (Level 4).In reflection, I enjoyed this facility immensely but there is not a formalized feedback methodology that actually promises results, overcrowding is a very present issue (this is a for profit deal remember), staffing among care coordinators, counselors and nurses are not appropriate to the number of patients and the rules are seemingly very flexible (i suspect unless you have great insurance lol). Thank you. Lastly before I leave, there is one BHT that either needs an attitude adjustment or just shouldn't be working there anymore. Her name starts with a Sh. You all know who she is if you have been there. She needs to be addressed.

I feel blessed that I began my recovery journey at Taylor Recovery Center. If Alcohol and/or Drugs are making your life unmanageable, please consider coming to this beautiful facility. You are able to bring your Dog or Cat with you and keep your cell phone 24/7 while beginning the sober way of life. That is a blessing most rehabs don't allow! The place is immaculate and the full-size beds are very comfortable. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable in addiction and mental health. My counselor Jude was always available to talk and I will use the tools she gave me to prevent a future relapse.I definitely can't say enough about the lead tech Stephanie - always going above and beyond - she has a way about her that can talk "ANYONE OFF THE LEDGE" She has saved many lives by showing empathy and sincere love for the addict that still suffers. All of the techs are truly amazing. To name a few - Lauren, AJ, Haley, Lauren C, Taylor, James, Katy, Delsa and Lady AJ!!! Every one of them were so kind and patient with the clients. And now I come to "THE CHEF - JOHN" and his assistant Jose. Every day he puts out a display of culinary delights from "Omelets made to order" and "Friday Night is Steak Night" to freshly baked warm cookies that he hand delivers to everyone!!!! Most days you feel like you re dining in a 5-star restaurant.I highly recommend starting your new my way of life at Taylor!!!

I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.

I really have nothing to say bad about this Clinic, I See plenty of Neg reviews however I have been twice with just walk ins due to I am transferring in the system from overseas. Try walking in a Clinic in the Private world, not happening and not at no cost to you. I have been treated fair and well here in Katy and again no complaints. I have all my medications and the providers and nurses all have been nice and courteous. Today I left with clear instructions of my next events in the Va Health System

Read almost all the comments before walking into this clinic!!! Came to establish care since getting out little over a year ago. The mental health nurse went over and beyond making sure I got my meds before I left since I ran out a while ago. I eventually established care and got pretty quick appt dates coming up. Fingers crossed they don t cancel on me as I ve read it s possible. The only reason for the 4 is because the original person that helped me before being passed off seem like she really didn t wanna help me.

Wonderful experience with my daughter. Bianca is the sweetest. It shows that she truly cares. My daughter is temperamental and gets cranky and scared with new people but Bianca handled her so calmly that my daughter enjoyed her sessions. It is a blessing to find a therapist who treats patients like that.

Dr. Kaminar is incredible! I ve been seeing him for almost 2 years and he is consistently helpful. As a woman with mental illness, I ve had doctors constantly dismiss my symptoms and concerns. This has never been the case with Dr. Kaminar. He is so supportive and validates my concerns. Even with the smallest shifts of my health, he is ready to listen and find a solution that works best for me.

I was very impressed with the professional staff; clean, therapeutic facility; and the overall programming and planning at the Center. My daughter appreciated it. Upon discharge, she talks favorably of the place and of her learning a lot about herself. I shout thank you 100 times for the appreciated, healthy results.

A loved one I know just spent almost 9 weeks there recently. The program is not easy as eating disorders affect everyone differently and can be very challenging to address. My loved one wanted to quit multiple times, but with the around the clock support of the staff, techs, dieticians, therapists, and doctors, she was able to stay, improve her overall health, and be discharged as completing the program. We visited every weekend and participated in every weekly support session provided via zoom. Again, the process and experience is not easy. Tough love is sometimes necessary. It was evident the actions taken by the staff was always intended to help my loved one deal with the disorder and regain control once again. We understand the battle is by no means over, but we feel the experience and service provided by the center has better equipped us and my loved one to continue to make progress. We are extremely grateful for all the staff at the center for discovery and would highly recommend the program, but I must reiterate that the process is not easy on the family or the patients. I understand are situations all different. My loved one is extremely grateful she completed the program as are we. Thanks again.

I attended my nursing school clinical here and was truly impressed by the exceptional care provided to the patients. This facility is amazing. The staff are incredibly compassionate, treating the children as if they were their own. The quality of care these children receive here is unmatched and may not be available in their own homes. I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a supportive and nurturing environment for their special child.
