Folks with eating disorders frequently turn to substance use to m | Treatments Programs Payment Options | When our daughter was admitted to the Center For Discovery, Cypress Tx., her body and mind were not in a good place. Of course, at first she was resistant, but after a few weeks we started noticing big changes. Dr. Rana, her psychiatrist, made some changes to her meds. Miss Ashleigh her therapist worked constantly with her and kept in constant contact with us. Nurse Shoba would greet us when we visited our daughter, after talking to her you could see she had a servants heart, her concern and care for the children was evident. Our daughter said Nurse Shoba just made her feel peaceful and cared for. Naomi, the dietician, was honest and kind. After a few weeks our daughter looked healthier, her eyes were brighter, and she was more confident in herself. Nurse Indie would email through updates to us weekly and was always available for questions and concerns. After about a month we noticed her thoughts and habits were changing for the better. We can't say enough about the whole staff. Watching our daughter's physical and mental health change over her 2 month stay was amazing and heartwarming. Anyone with a loved one needing treatment should consider The Center For Discovery, Cypress. Yes, the first few weeks may be hard, yes, they will eat to build up their physical strength. But once they buy in to the process you and your loved one will be happy with the result.
