I stayed at High Frontier in Fort Davis for a quick little getaway, and it was exactly what I needed. The setting is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful mountain views and wide-open skies that instantly slow you down. The space felt welcoming and quiet perfect for unplugging and catching your breath.Everyone I encountered was kind and accommodating, and there's a really unique, grounded energy to the whole property. Springboard is the best decision I ve ever made!!!Tyner was so helpful in helping me get into the doors and so welcoming once I did, I m forever grateful for him.It was such a life changing experience in just 30 days. The staff is phenomenal and the program and curriculum is one of a kind. I ve gained so much knowledge about alcoholism and drug abuse than I ever have before. The staff truly care for everyone and show so much love to each individual, I felt supported the entire time. It was such an amazing experience and I had the best time with the other clients which became family by the end of the program. I see negative reviews. This place is what you make of it. They give you the tools use and it's up to you. I've found the staff to helpful and empathetic. I also recommend the counseling; so much in fact that I have recently brought a family member to also be a recipient and they have no substance abuse problems whatsoever. At first I was nervous to go in because of the reviews but I can honestly say coming here has saved my life. Was able to bring my kids in with me and even though they didn't love it so much our bond has definitely gotten stronger. I definitely recommend it. My counselor was the best and all the staff was awesome! Very friendly and caring.

I have been to this VA a handful of times, and I don't recall ever having a negative experience. It is located on the second floor, and the staff has always been courteous if I had questions. There is plenty of parking in the front, with several handicap spaces near the front entrance.

My son was in a very difficult place. He said he needed help. Fortunately I had seen the Peak Behavioral center driving by so I immediately took him there. Sam greeted us and we told her he needed help and she immediately arranged for him to be taken care of. Since he s an adult I didn t get to speak to any of the staff other than Iris and Sam who were wonderful to me. My son is glad that he was able to get help from the staff and get his emotions under control and I am very happy that he will continue to get after care. Sooo grateful to all they are there to offer these much needed services.

When I was down there for rtc at first I didn t like it. I just wanted to get out I was in the rtc program for 7 months. There was days I felt like nothing was helping me. I felt like what I said didn t matter. But there was days Where everything was good everything was all right. They taught me a lot of skills. There were a couple staff that I loved. They kept me up and helped me out when I was struggling. Ms. Jeanette. Ms. Carmelita. And Ms. Aida. Mrs. Mallela was a very good therapist. She helped me out a lot don t get me wrong we had our moments but they really helped me understand why I needed to be there and why what I was doing could leave me dead or back in jail. I would say though if you don t want your kids medicated don t go there but your kids do have a choice to say they don t want medication but it s always up to the parent too

Well all I can say is that my adult child suffers from Schizophrenia and goes into psychosis often however we recently used this hospital. The psychiatrist here wants to help and has done better than most facilities. It's about getting the meds stabilized in a person. However, often people don't understand that it's a the illness that makes things complicated in a person's phsiologogy make up of what meds are compatible. In saying this a good Psychiatrist will look through the patient history and allergic reactions to meds and will make the best appropriate decision in helping the patient to be comfortable and safe without any addictions to certain kinds of meds in a bad way however,only what is needed. From my understanding I know I have had the doctor there help my adult child to recover as best as they can. When the meds are unbalanced for whatever reason we take him here to get them balanced. There are legal regulations in every hospital and a patient's right are we work with this information so do they. So the patient gets the right treatment in meds. I know the level of care they can do and understanding mental illness very well. However everyone mental health is different. I believe in the psychiatrist here to make educated trained decisions. I always pray they continue to make the best recommendations for each patient.

Humphrey house is a place for the kids in our communtiy to go and be kept in their community and in the state. Families and youth have an opportunity to work together on their target goals together. Sometimes Humphrey House is often the better choice than the home for whatever reasons and that's just being honest. As always when looking at the whole picture you may not always get the answers and results you want but you get what you need. Humphrey house provides just that place that is needed even during the times it isn't wanted. It takes a village. And a village isn't perfect but they are willing to keep trying.

I've been helped so much by Dr. Roger and his nurse James. Anything I need they're there to help. My experience has been very positive. The waiting time is very minimal 5 mins tops. Everything is done in a timely manner including form fillings. Super happy with the service and definitely recommend this facility to someone looking for a fast appointment.

I need to rate a perfect ten honestly. The staff here as well as the Dr. go well above caring. The utmost respect and care I have experienced from everyone here. They will always care and truly give their all when it comes to patients. I truly want to thank all of the staff and doctor the Councelors and nurse for their professionalism as well as the care they give. I don t feel like a patient, they make me feel like family. I love them all. The receptionist is always friendly as well with a smile every time. He s great as well thank you.
