This place was clean, respectable uplifting, healing, free to those who can’t afford it. He is now a law abiding citizen and has 10 years of sobriety. He helps many others in recovery and still thanks God everyday for people and places like this in which he would not be where he is without Cloverhouse and their mission. Bottom line is ... if you are ready to change your ways then the instrument used to assist you can’t do it wrong. But... if you are not willing to change your ways, no place and no person will ever do it right in your eyes. Perhaps rating our own level of willingness is the appropriate measure to use.

I stayed in the adolescent unit for ten days and it actually helped me for the most part.Yeah there were days were I got triggered really bad but I think in the end that helped prepare me. Plus the techs ( April, Kamille and Portchia especially) were really helpful.

Those people allowed her and some other girls to FIND A RAZOR and use and share it, and she caught a virus.... She is in septic shock... Those people were supposed to watch after her. Believe me, when this is all over, I am going to make moves against that place. Legal moves.

Hard beds. Freezing cold. Racist, Rude staff. The men staff there are WEIRD. Literally racist books in the rec room…. A girl punched the walls and they never cleaned the blood. The girl with the black arm tattoo was so rude she made me feel so uncomfortable by the way she glared at and treated me. Someone said it felt like we were being punished for our own mental health and that is very true. So unprofessional. Thin clothing when it was FREEZING COLD. The feminine products are a JOKE. Got told to wait to talk to my family.. literally felt like a PRISON. Did not feel like I was getting help, I even felt worse when I left the hospital. Even more depressed than I already was. I don’t see how this place is still open. So traumatizing considering I was hearing violent people upstairs screaming all night. Saw a guy literally scrape his skin off with these scratch stickers they gave us. And the therapist did NOTHING. SHE WATCHED HIM AND DID NOTHING. Another guy walked around naked in his room and doors have to stay open and my roommate which was a girl went in HIS ROOM again staff did nothing. Like who knows what happened in there🤦♀️. I shit you not, the old lady with red hair that works behind the counter at the pharmacy was leaning over and falling asleep as I was waiting for my meds that made me worse..because they got my diagnosis wrong. They labeled me as schizophrenic. I later left Rivercrest to find out by my psychiatrist that I am actually bipolar. Yeah so basically THIS PLACE IS A JOKE they do NOT care about their patients.. food was buss tho

This place was very informative to me when others were not. Did not have a bad experience in the very short time I dealt with them. Humphrey house is a place for the kids in our communtiy to go and be kept in their community and in the state. Families and youth have an opportunity to work together on their target goals together. Sometimes Humphrey House is often the better choice than the home for whatever reasons and that's just being honest. As always when looking at the whole picture you may not always get the answers and results you want but you get what you need. Humphrey house provides just that place that is needed even during the times it isn't wanted. It takes a village. And a village isn't perfect but they are willing to keep trying.

I went to dove tree, in Lubbock, Tx broken and very lost. Mentally, emotionally, and physically lost. They helped me get back on my feet again and have helped me gain more confidence in myself. There’s a lot of the staff that I’m very grateful for, but Josh Toney and Lex helped me out so much. it’s been years since i went here but now im old enough to actually make a review, oceans was my saving grace the put so much care and attention into helping all of us girls in the pod, i sang everyday and they even printed sheet music so all the girls could join in! food wasn’t my favourite but they threw a super bowl party for us and let us have the best time!
