I am writing to express my deep gratitude for the support my family received during my husband’s month-long stay at Banyan. While it was a challenging time for both of us, the facility provided me with a counselor, Jordan, to help me navigate my emotions and learn valuable coping tools. Jordan went above and beyond for me every step of the way. Whenever I needed to talk, express my feelings, or required reassurance, she was always there to support and encourage me. Her reminders that I am strong and that the system works truly helped me through a very difficult period. Thanks to the process and steps provided by Banyan, my husband has maintained his sobriety. Our marriage has completely turned around; we now communicate better, listen to one another, and account for each other's feelings. I will forever be grateful for the impact this facility and Jordan have had on our lives.

I have been to a handful of treatment centers in Texas and just finished my residential program at Banyan. It is operated very well. The programming and structure is different than other places. I couldn’t recommend coming here enough if you need help. The property is very big, nice amenities. The tech/recovery coach to client ratio is definitely the best I’ve seen. The techs are amazing and truly care. Thank you Banyan for everything!

I went in for treatment at EA several years ago (2011) and I have never looked back. I had been to a facility in Memphis the year before after losing my son in the Army & I couldn’t seem to get my life together. It helped, but when I had a setback, I looked closer to home & found EA just 30 miles away & from the minute I entered that beautiful, stately home I felt welcomed & loved. Jim and his awesome staff as well as the others in treatment made my stay so productive and life changing. I am a minister’s daughter & the faith based treatment helped me get through & arrive back to myself. Even after my husband’s passing in 2019, I relied on the things I was taught & reminded of from my stay. If you need help for addiction or alcoholism, this is a great place to go - you will make friends you never knew you needed and learn things about yourself that carry you through the next phase of your life. I’m so grateful I found EA.

It's sorta hard to give the awesome review I want to and explain because I don't want to publicly announce my situation to the world but I know I have to say something to make sure people in and around the area who need services that BBT provides, I want to be able to let know this is a positive life changing place to turn to. Help is here for so many situations and if not they can help point you in the right direction. There was no judgment. Every single person I talked to was absolutely amazing, very sweet, caring, nice, helpful and genuinely wanting to help me and have me suceed...period. If you or someone you know need help or any services that BBT provides I highly recommend contacting them immediately. This is such a great place to be able to turn to for help because it is everywhere here.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Sincerely, Dustin❤️

Recovery unplugged changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The care for their clients went far beyond my expectations of rehabilitation centers. My counselor LuLu helped me find the understanding of myself needed to move forward from active addiction, my case manager Chloe provided me the resources needed to take the next steps, and my Alumni Coordinator Natalie has an incomparable heart for those in recovery as they take those next steps. The program also entrenches you in the Austin recovery community, intentionally becoming the connective tissue with society needed for rehabilitation from addiction. If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward. The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it. What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don’t just treat the addiction—they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families. The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey. The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future. If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, and effective treatment program for a young person struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha 180. They truly saved my son and gave us the tools we need to continue on this journey together. Jenn Parent of Alpha Patient

I loved this place. It provided me a save haven to reset my nervous system, and my vagus nerve. Every Employee knows their assignment to provide a space for healing. I struggled with 8 years of addiction... I never wanted to be one of those people that had to say ah I man I had to go to rehab... but truly going to this place really was not at all like anything I expected it to be... this place was really awesome because it didn't feel like some typical boring office space just going over the same cheesy PowerPoint... but it actually was shockingly something I really enjoyed and ultimately looked forward to going each week. It felt like a family in a way, just in a place full of close friends who could all just kinda unload the weight of our problems, share our triumphs, relate to each others lives in ways that you just can't do with anyone else in your life who doesn't understand addiction. The staff here really cares, and it felt really personal like not just through a I care about my job kinda way but honestly like I'm passionate about wanting to see you make it! I want to help however I can so that you can be happy and free to enjoy living again... and I absolutely got that from this place! I am extremely grateful and highly recommend you give this place a try if you're even just thinking about getting clean... you can always leave lol but I promise you... you'll WANT to stay!

If you are debating whether sobriety is for you, I seriously recommend checking out Positive Recovery. I have struggled with alcohol my entire life and now I’m proud to say I’m coming up on 3 years of sobriety. My life has totally changed for the better. I can’t even put into words how much of a win it has been for my family and I, especially here just on a google review. Todd, the counselor, is the best I have ever seen and this was not my first time in a recovery center. If you are thinking about it at all, you probably need to give it a try. You owe it to yourself and your family. It works, I promise.

It’s hard to put into words the amount of gratitude I feel for Robert Kidd & “the Room” @ Positive Recovery, but I will give it my best shot. After finding myself at an ultimate low & loosing nearly everything that ever mattered to me in life, I found myself sitting in what we call “the room”. Robert asked me a question that I had no idea wld be the start of a new & beautiful journey…. “Who is Kat?” Take away the kids, the marriage, the job, etc…most of which I had lost at that point anyway - who was I, at my core? I had absolutely no idea - but thankfully, I had a willingness & a safe place to find out. Thru some really challenging assignments & sitting in the room w/ others who were willing to open up & share things we probably wldn’t otherwise talk about…I found myself doing the same. In doing so, I have been able to let go of things I didn’t even realize I had been holding onto & have rediscovered who I AM. It’s a special room & To say that I’m grateful is a serious understatement. Everyday is a gift 🙏 I realize that more today than ever. #soberaf #onedayatatime

I hope this review reaches you when you’re feeling like you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked. If that’s where you are, know that PRC will give you the help you need, and Robert Kidd is in the business of the highest calling—Saving Lives. There are a few moments in my life that I can pinpoint as truly life-saving, and my experience at PRC is one of them. There are plenty of IOP programs around, but the people at this center, especially Robert Kidd, are on a whole different level. Before coming to PRC in San Marcos, I had been through three treatment centers and several Intensive Outpatient Programs, with my life in complete disarray. But everything changed when I met Robert. When you show up at an IOP, it’s not on your best day—it’s one of the lowest. My family had given up on me, and I didn’t have anyone to help me sort through the wreckage of my life and guide me forward. I felt hopeless, like rebuilding my life wasn’t possible. Robert took me in at my lowest point, and I’ll never forget what he said after going through the intake process. He looked at me—a 28-year-old man, fresh out of my second rehab, with a newborn child—and smiled. “Hey Bud, we’re going to get through this. And I don’t just mean maintain—I mean thrive. I have high hopes for you, John.” It had been a long time since someone believed in me. Robert became the father figure I needed when mine had stopped speaking to me. From that moment, I gave everything I had to getting clean. I had never stayed clean and sober for more than 12 days, but Robert's belief in me made me want to succeed. It wasn’t the money spent on rehab or the numerous counselors and medications that made the difference—it was Robert’s belief in me. He didn’t just let me slip away when I missed a group session; he would reach out, encourage me, and motivate me to keep going. PRC, and especially Robert Kidd, are the reasons I’m here today, thriving. If you’re considering PRC here in San Marcos, know that it could be the place where your life changes too.

My son was hopeless, and our lives were falling apart when I called our insurance company for information on an in-network facility. Their first recommendation was Infinite Recovery, and I am eternally grateful it was. The first person we spoke with was Tanner and then the clinical department. They walked us through a full continuum of care program that was tailored to my son's needs. They also provided the most exceptional family program I have seen, and it has helped our family heal and unite. My son is still in the program living in a beautiful sober living home. He now has a job and excellent community support. I highly recommend Infinite Recovery!!!

These people saved my life and my entire psyche. I have been away from addiction for over 15 years now. I often reflect on how profound that experience was going through their clinic. Before, I had moralized my distress, addiction and self-medication, viewing it as a personal flaw. But through their scientific system, I was able to heal and fully integrate back into society. It feels wild leaving a review for an institution like this 15 years later, but their impact is truly lifelong. I’m so grateful to Dr. Aeschbach, and to Dr. Aeschbach-Jachmann. They are true carers with a foundation in medicine and psychiatry that is sadly not found often. If any of you working at the clinic read this - thank you! The staff and support helped me through some of the most difficult years of my life in my early twenties.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kelsey from Infinite Recovery and have been consistently impressed by her dedication and compassion. One case that stands out involved a client who had been struggling to find the right treatment placement for quite some time despite multiple barriers and setbacks. Kelsey remained persistent, explored every available option, and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. Thanks to her hard work and advocacy, the client was ultimately placed in the care they needed. She is an incredible community partner who genuinely cares about helping people find recovery and support.

This place was nothing less than stellar. The staff was very professional from the therapists to the techs. Heather, Kayja and Julian are top tier. If you failed at this place it's because you did not apply yourself. Advocate for yourself, the staff at Omega are not magicians, they are there to educate and guide you in the right direction. I came to Omaga broken and angry and left a better person. Everyone there was always accommodating and willing to help. Nick, Jackson, Christina, Noel, Hayden, Rebecca, Kaels and Brook ...sorry if I forgot anyone...love you all. ( I saw a post from a previous resident... Key Bell... which was absolutely all lies and that infuriates me ...as he was nothing but drama and refused to put the work in...then left a bad review.... SHAME ON YOU KEY !!!

If you are in need of mental help, freedom from addiction or a mixture of the two, this place is for you. The sheer amount of lives I have witnessed restored from this program is mind blowing. The Clinical staff are comparable to warriors that quite literally go to war against the things that are holding you back from being the best version of yourself. Is the program easy? Absolutely not, but usually, nothing that is worth completing is easy at all and for issues as complicated as mental health and addiction are, it goes without saying that a massive surge of effort and concern have to be applied but the staff here at this program make that giant of a task look more like bite sized and achievable goals. You will work very closely with not only your own therapist, but also every therapist on site. They have aftercare emphasis near the end of your program to ensure you aren't dumped into the street upon completion assuming you are one of the many people in this world that lack a support system, they also come up with long term plans that exceed simple necessities upon leaving which, if applied, will serve you extremely well in maintaining and growing durability in your mental health. I've been through just about every form of mental health help you can imagine. Short term programs, long term, group therapy, individualized therapy, inpatient, outpatient, the list goes on. All it took for me to change my life was a true desire to live, 1 and a half months in their inpatient care and 2 months of their outpatient program. Now I find myself taking steps for my future that I never imagined myself taking. The program caters to just about every life circumstance and they offer several routes so whether you can only attend it during the day and need to go home afterwards or whether you can commit your time to the inpatient portion of the program, they will work with you. If you are on the edge of that cliff in life, take one more leap of faith away from that edge and call them, I can personally attest to the restorative power that this place equipped me with and I hope that you join the many souls that have been strengthened and filled with a renewed desire for life through this organization. Shout-out to Clinical Staff, the Techs and all of the volunteers that give their time to Omega. I will never forget any of you.

The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

my sister had an accident four months ago, which paralyzed her from the shoulders down. We were totally lost and none of us expected our family to be in this situation. Thank God she was sent to the Texas Neuro rehab center! They have helped us through every step of the way! They helped us with the insurance and the other resources that are available, and fought for my sister all the way. The therapists, nurses along with the entire staff are amazing! My sister has really bonded with them and it’s made this situation so much better! Our caseworker, Stephanie, was truly a godsend! We really would not have been able to make it this far without her help and guidance! Every day, I thank God for their help and assistance through this difficult time.

My sister was involved in a bad fall down some stairs and ended up needing surgery and is now paralyzed from her shoulders down. She was moved to the Texas Neuro Rehabilitation center after her surgery. We, as her family support, had ZERO idea what was next and how to proceed into the future. This is where we met Stephanie (her social worker) and ALL the wonderful staff at Texas Neuro Rehabilitation. What a Great group of folks! We know nothing about how to proceed from day One and Stephanie & the staff at Texas Neuro made us feel welcome and comfortable that we had made the right choice in our sister's care. Everyone at Texas Neuro is friendly and helpful. They are always there to answer any questions and help while Stephanie helped us make it through all the paperwork and contacts we needed to make to ensure that our sister was very well taken care of. I highly recommend the Texas Neuro Rehabilitation Center on all levels. Our sister is Happy there and really enjoys the staff and all her interactions during her stay. Excellent group of folks!! Thank you Texas Neuro Rehabilitation!
