Rehab is what you make it. If you want to honestly get sober you’ll do what’s right no matter the circumstances.TLR has helped a ton to really help me find the roots of my problems it’s not always easy it will get uncomfortable and challenging but if you truly want to better yourself and your situation you’ll push through it and it’ll all make more sense to you and life will get easier of course you’ll have your ups and downs but that’s life fortunately now you’ll be equipped with more life skills and gain more insight about recovery

The entire staff was more than helpful and concerned about our well-being than I could have imagined. Their willingness to be of service to us all was on a whole other level. Great people, great fellowship and great food, couldn't have been blessed with a better place! It works if you work it, so work it cause you're worth it! You get out of it, what you put into it.

Recovery unplugged changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The care for their clients went far beyond my expectations of rehabilitation centers. My counselor LuLu helped me find the understanding of myself needed to move forward from active addiction, my case manager Chloe provided me the resources needed to take the next steps, and my Alumni Coordinator Natalie has an incomparable heart for those in recovery as they take those next steps. The program also entrenches you in the Austin recovery community, intentionally becoming the connective tissue with society needed for rehabilitation from addiction. As someone who never wanted to step into rehab, I would recommend the program to anyone.

I know Mark rector is non-binary however it saved my life and it did a good job with CPR and I don't know how aside from staying sober I could ever repay it thank you Mr or Mrs or whatever you're pronoun is

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Overall good treatment center. Great therapists and all that. If you’re looking for addiction treatment I’d definitely try applying to go there. But if you need mental health treatment, you’d best look elsewhere since they only deal with mental health as it relates to addiction. Just coping skills training & some psych-ed. Not much art therapy if that’s your thing. Also, they don’t really help you find a job so just be aware of that too. I would go to them again if I relapsed I guess. They’ll get you to 6 months sober at least. Being discharged too early before I felt like I was ready activated my abandonment wound though.

My experience with Alpha (Now Release) was wonderful. This is where my experience with addiction recovery became enjoyable not just a chore. I found a distinctive unique experience. They helped me learn how to live in the outside world and experience life in ways that changed my perspective of the world. This place really can provide change to people’s life from life skills to recovery while still having fun at the same time.

I would like to share that Recovery Unplugged, Albert Road, is a step above all the rest. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful, nursing staff is compassionate and caring and let me say the therapists are the best. The food is on par and the activities are fun and exciting. I also want to mention the alumni coordinators Sarah and Ross, big kudos to them. They are always big fun!

Oh man, this place is a game-changer! I never thought a rehab situation could be so much fun, AND help me achieve my ultimate goal of sobriety. This place did both. The staff is invested, the food is stellar, the Alumni team has been an absolute pleasure to work with. They even host weekly hangs for us! Run, don’t walk. 5-stars!

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Everyone who is fighting the battle of addiction is in need of a place like this. My insurance covered the complete stay, I got to meet so many different people, my therapist Angel nailed everything I threw at her, & I am leaving rehabilitated & very much refreshed! New Hope Ranch ROCKS !!!
