I had such an amazing experience at Banyan. The staff is helpful and the medical staff is very knowledgeable. The education and curriculum are so on point. The hiking trail and pool and a great getaway. If you like to relax and fish there is that too. It is such a beautiful property. #lovebeing sober.

I went there back in 2012 and 13. What God did for me through using Eternal Awakenings , has sure lived up to their name, God transformed me and changed me by waking me up. I am humbled to still be apart of this wonderful and God fearing place. I’m also grateful and thankful for what God did for me so that I could step into His identity He had for me, so I too could be used for His glory. God is still continuously using this wonderful and beautiful place for His glory, all to bring the lost home, sinners to repentance and salvation to a fallen world. I went in for treatment at EA several years ago (2011) and I have never looked back. I had been to a facility in Memphis the year before after losing my son in the Army & I couldn’t seem to get my life together. It helped, but when I had a setback, I looked closer to home & found EA just 30 miles away & from the minute I entered that beautiful, stately home I felt welcomed & loved. Jim and his awesome staff as well as the others in treatment made my stay so productive and life changing. I am a minister’s daughter & the faith based treatment helped me get through & arrive back to myself. Even after my husband’s passing in 2019, I relied on the things I was taught & reminded of from my stay. If you need help for addiction or alcoholism, this is a great place to go - you will make friends you never knew you needed and learn things about yourself that carry you through the next phase of your life. I’m so grateful I found EA.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! I can't say enough great things about my treatment at RU. I was in the PHP program and the curriculum is awesome. They definitely help you get out of your comfort zone with Open Mic on Wednesdays, which I loved! The mens houses are both very nice and comfortable. And they provide food for us and we can still purchase extra if we want. I would recommend this facility to any and everyone!

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

This place changes lives. Its helped me to have the tools to accurately address and process what my addiction and addictive behaviors look like both mentally and physically. How my trauma has played a role in my life and how to deal with it and myself daily. The amount of growth that can be gained in a few weeks and months is a miracle. Robert Kidd and his team do an amazing job prompting, listening, and directing healing and true recovery. Its all about being healthy in the end. It’s hard to put into words the amount of gratitude I feel for Robert Kidd & “the Room” @ Positive Recovery, but I will give it my best shot. After finding myself at an ultimate low & loosing nearly everything that ever mattered to me in life, I found myself sitting in what we call “the room”. Robert asked me a question that I had no idea wld be the start of a new & beautiful journey…. “Who is Kat?” Take away the kids, the marriage, the job, etc…most of which I had lost at that point anyway - who was I, at my core? I had absolutely no idea - but thankfully, I had a willingness & a safe place to find out. Thru some really challenging assignments & sitting in the room w/ others who were willing to open up & share things we probably wldn’t otherwise talk about…I found myself doing the same. In doing so, I have been able to let go of things I didn’t even realize I had been holding onto & have rediscovered who I AM. I hope this review reaches you when you’re feeling like you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked. If that’s where you are, know that PRC will give you the help you need, and Robert Kidd is in the business of the highest calling—Saving Lives. There are a few moments in my life that I can pinpoint as truly life-saving, and my experience at PRC is one of them. There are plenty of IOP programs around, but the people at this center, especially Robert Kidd, are on a whole different level. Before coming to PRC in San Marcos, I had been through three treatment centers and several Intensive Outpatient Programs, with my life in complete disarray. But everything changed when I met Robert. When you show up at an IOP, it’s not on your best day—it’s one of the lowest. My family had given up on me, and I didn’t have anyone to help me sort through the wreckage of my life and guide me forward. I felt hopeless, like rebuilding my life wasn’t possible. Robert took me in at my lowest point, and I’ll never forget what he said after going through the intake process. He looked at me—a 28-year-old man, fresh out of my second rehab, with a newborn child—and smiled. “Hey Bud, we’re going to get through this. And I don’t just mean maintain—I mean thrive. I have high hopes for you, John.” It had been a long time since someone believed in me. Robert became the father figure I needed when mine had stopped speaking to me. From that moment, I gave everything I had to getting clean. I had never stayed clean and sober for more than 12 days, but Robert's belief in me made me want to succeed. It wasn’t the money spent on rehab or the numerous counselors and medications that made the difference—it was Robert’s belief in me. He didn’t just let me slip away when I missed a group session; he would reach out, encourage me, and motivate me to keep going. Their first recommendation was Infinite Recovery, and I am eternally grateful it was. The first person we spoke with was Tanner and then the clinical department. They walked us through a full continuum of care program that was tailored to my son's needs. They also provided the most exceptional family program I have seen, and it has helped our family heal and unite. My son is still in the program living in a beautiful sober living home. New Hope Ranch saved my life. I had my ups and downs but I learned how to deal with every issue with grace. I learned how to care for others as I was also focusing on myself. The team that's there is great and I learned from them that every moment is a learning or teaching moment. It's so refreshing to gain confidence and not be in fear when dealing with my addiction. Where do I start! From finding this place to getting in contact with Gil! Gil went above and beyond to evaluate my son at our home. Gil did everything possible to get my son admitted in quickly. My family was turned upside down over night from a head on collision. My son had his spinal injury that left him paralyzed. We were told that the best place for him to get treatment was at TIRR in Houston. Well shame on TIRR for not being any help at all. I spent months trying to get him to TIRR with no luck. I finally did some research and found you guys in Austin! From the 1st day of conversation with Gil he was out evaluating my son the next following week. Gil called me back at the end of the week with the news we’ve been waiting for, since our release from hospital. He was accepted! Mind you I was back in the hospital due to a set back in my recovery. The following week he was admitted in and I met Stephanie! Stephanie you’re an angel! Stephanie went above and beyond to take care of my son. She was so helpful when I felt helpless in my hospital bed. Stephanie helped with paperwork and making sure everything was good! Texas Neuro rehab center you guys have Althea best staff! If your family member has a traumatic brain injury and they require intensive therapy to recover as much as they can, this facility has a highly professional team and a welcoming environment to help them. From the leadership to the therapists to the social workers to all of the support staff, the people are great. They try to create a nurturing environment to help your loved ones get back to you. With multiple hours of service per day, that does not come cheap but it is money well spent.

I went to the ER yesterday to get checked for a blood clot in my leg. As soon as I went to a room, blood work and an EKG were done. I went to ultrasound for a scan, all before seeing anyone. I'm not sure who ordered all of the tests but it sure reduced the amount of time it took for me to be evaluated. I appreciate the treatment I received and all of the people involved. Fortunately there was no blood clot. Thank you Grmc, keep up the good work.

As a cycle breaker of generational trauma I must say this place deserves 8 stars! Eternally grateful for your services. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it. You must be honest in order for therapy/ healing to work. Blessings to the entire staff. You all deserve raises. The clean up crew was excellent. i did discovery's iop and php program and it completely changed my mental health for the better. i've been to a handful of treatment programs and this one was by far the best. i was in such an awful place at the time and after finishing up the program i honestly feel like a new person. the therapists and staff always go above and beyond. they're funny, kind, and honestly make you feel safe. i highly recommend discovery to anyone struggling with mental illness. part of me was sad to leave!

I got sober in residential treatment. But I learned how to stay sober in sober living. Living at Hyde Park mens for 8 months is the main reason I’m 4 years sober today. This place provided the structure and support I needed when transitioning back to the “real” world. Leaving inpatient can be extremely tough. You hit the pause button on your life for a bit but then you find yourself thrown right back into the fold. Nothing has changed except for you. It was in the Arbor’s sober living that I really got to put what I learned into practice. And when I got off course, I had an entire community to help get me back on the right track. I will be forever grateful for my experience with this house.

I was so scared to start NOCD but I’m so glad I did. After years of talk therapy that never helped my NOCD therapist understood my problem and was able to quickly zero in on ways for me to address the problem. She gave me the education and tools to strategically deal with my challenges. I.started NOCD when I was 73 years old. I was desperate for help and relief from the misery I have known my entire life. I'm a former patient I'm 30 now I was in-patient form 17 yr old to 18 I ended my stent as a phase 3 motivator. for some reason I was thinking about my time at phoenix austin it was a growing experience I was an involuntary patient, a nudge from a judge but I'm glad I went met some awesome and interesting kids and the staff was amazing. The pictures on the page showe how far the facility has come it looks so different from when I made my stay I am now happily married with 3 beautiful daughters had it not been for these ppl I would not have the beautiful life I have now.if someone could remind me of the motto I wouldn be grateful I can not remember after all these years
