If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! Sincerely, Dustin❤️

I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward. The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it. What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don’t just treat the addiction—they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families. The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey. The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future. If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, and effective treatment program for a young person struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha 180. They truly saved my son and gave us the tools we need to continue on this journey together. Jenn Parent of Alpha Patient

I would just like to thank Recovery Unplugged in Austin, Texas for their amazing Trauma program that they put me through in rehab.. I will be 1 year sober on November 14, 2025. I was heavily addicted to meth and chaos. I am a living testament to the magic in this program. If there is anyone out there who struggles with the crippling cycle of trauma and addiction this program heals. My mind is different. My expectations are different. My self esteem. My confidence... I am no longer broken and confused. I got "Obama care" insurance online about 3 days before I found the program on Google. A week later I drove to Austin, remained in the program for 4.5 months or so. And honestly came back a different person. If you do not have transportation and feel stuck in your crappy life hating the you in your messed up head, they will pick you up from wherever you are and take you to Austin. Free of charge. Dont stay locked in to your trauma and addiction. There is life on the other side. The only hard part is making the decision to go. They allowed me to bring my Husky, Shady, with me. She stayed by my side through every single step. They loved her and cared for us both. Again. My insurance payed for this. I am ok now. A wise woman once told me, "Imagine the life you want.. Now go live it". I am passing this on. Get out. Get better. You ARE worth it.

I have waited for over a year to write this review to ensure my time at Sage was indeed "life-changing". I can now confidently say, my decision to seek therapy there was one of the best decisions I have ever made. For over 30 years I struggled with depression and anxiety and turned to alcohol to cope. But thanks to the therapists and counselors at the center, I now have the resources to manage my emotions in a healthy way. I feel like I've regained control of my life, and I'm excited to move forward with a new sense of confidence and purpose. I also attend their alumni group, which offers individuals free, weekly social events that provide ongoing support, education, and networking opportunities. It's an excellent resource for anyone in recovery who wants to continue their journey towards wellness and a better life. Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Recovery Center to anyone struggling with addiction or mental health issues. The environment is wonderful, the people are fantastic, and the support you receive is truly "life-changing". If you're looking for a place to help you get back on track, this is it.

This place is ALMOST like a resort. The property and facilities are beautiful. The food was always amazing , and the head chef is great. He always greets everybody with a smile and takes pride in what he serves. All the BHT were awesome too. This was my first time in rehAb and the fact they never take away. your phone and I could order off Amazon made it soo much easier. The only thing I would add is somehow pairing you up with someone who is a little ahead of you coming off the same substance. So you can ask them what to expect. I literally walked around asking everybody" What's your DOC?" I only found one person. Seemed 80% of residents were there for alcohol. I was there for Fetty& Meth. Took subs too early got PSw which sucked but the nurses did what they could to help and I survived. I did complete the 30 day residential and recommend.

I spent about 60 days here and am feeling very secure about my sobriety journey. There will be things that don’t happen in the time you want them, keep in mind that even if they doubled the staff this would still be the case because this kind of work is like running a marathon. Many of the staff have experience in recovery themselves ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS! You’ll save yourself a ton of grief if you just ask for what you need. There are so many strong feelings you’ll feel and in my experience here the things I felt were dysfunctional were all really just about my brain healing and the difficulty of being away from home. The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare in the Austin, Texas, area has residential substance abuse treatment programs for men and women over the age of 18. There is a treatment program specifically for young adults as well. I meant to share this sooner, but life after treatment got busy fast. Looking back now, I’m beyond grateful for my time at The Arbor because it gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to step back into life with confidence. Reaching out for help wasn’t easy. I felt ashamed for losing the sobriety I had worked hard for, and I didn’t want to admit I needed treatment again. But reaching out to The Arbor was truly the best decision I made for myself. Taylor Anne Ramsey was the first person I connected with, and she met me with nothing but compassion. She never judged me—she just wanted to help. From there, she connected me with Tiffany Tidwell, who immediately made me feel safe and reassured that I was in good hands. That was the moment I knew The Arbor’s treatment would live up to the warmth and energy both Taylor Anne and Tiffany showed me. Within days of arriving, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—it was immediate. Rachel had an incredible way of being both kind and firm, holding us accountable while still showing care. Tamara and Bella were amazing in our one-on-ones, offering thoughtful feedback that pushed me to look within and begin real healing. Mike, my RA, never sugarcoated things, and I honestly appreciated that tough love more than I can explain. Some people stood out not just for what they did, but for the size of their hearts. Jimmie, Miss J, and Miranda were unforgettable. They carried so much love and energy into the program that you couldn’t help but feel lifted up by them. And I can’t leave out the meals—Dom and her kitchen team made food that wasn’t just good, it was made with love. It sounds small, but those meals were such a comfort and part of what made The Arbor feel like home. The programming itself was excellent—structured, engaging, and exactly what I needed at the time. But more than the curriculum, it was the people who made the difference. The staff didn’t just work there; they cared, they showed up, and they created an environment where healing was truly possible. My experience at The Arbor was GREAT. No complaints, and I will recommend it for as long as I can. I walked away with tools, support, and a renewed sense of hope—and that’s something I’ll always carry with me.

I was referred to The Arbor by a close friend who got sober here 5 years ago, and I’m so glad I trusted them. I was turned off to AA before coming here because of the whole God thing. I had gone to other treatment centers before and tried alternative recovery programs, but never cracked open a big book until I got here. I came in through The Arbor’s doors as a husk of a human being. I was miserable in my addiction and miserable the multiple times I tried to get sober on my own. I couldn’t stand to sit in my own skin. I was desperate for a solution - a way out of my suffering. I gave my all to this program and trusted the direction of the staff and reaped the benefits almost immediately. My recovery manager, Mike, changed my life. He loved me when I couldn’t love myself. Never in any of my past treatment experiences have we had someone directly in charge of our recovery program. The recovery managers act as a stand in sponsor while you’re in treatment and hold you accountable for progressing in your step work. This is a true dual diagnosis facility as well. My therapist Gabi was very supportive in my journey here, as I do struggle with co-occurring disorders. EMDR is an option for those with trauma who are staying long term (which I highly recommend if you can). Equine therapy was another asset - I had Danielle and worked with Tilly and gained a whole new set of tools for coping and regulation that I wouldn’t have gained in traditional talk therapy. The psychiatrists and medical team are highly qualified and don’t just push pills for the sake of pushing pills. Every single staff member at The Arbor is committed to helping you grow in your recovery. From the admissions team (shout out Tiffany) to the support staff, this place made me feel like I was in good hands every step of the way. I left with a newfound sense of self worth and direction and confidence in myself to keep working the program. Thank you to The arbor for giving me my life back. I highly recommend this facility for any out there who are still suffering and genuinely want to live a life worth living.

I came though this program a broken man. I was tired and my life was in shambles. My hurts habits and hang-ups had destroyed every single relationship I've ever had. I was morally, spiritually and physically bankrupt with no hope of a future aside from jail, insanity, or death. I spent the best years of my life hidden in a bottle and substance use to avoid the hurt and hopelessness i was running from. When I walked though the doors of RU they surrounded me and loved me until I could learn to love myself. This Program didn't just solve the my abuse but helped me become a thriving and impactful person in my community and reattached me to my faith. I now host open an open mic once a week for singers and songwriters downtown and volunteer on the worship team once a week. Life is beautiful and hopeful. Thank you Recovery Unplugged

I can honestly say this sober living/PHP program saved my life. When I first came in, I was broken, scared, and didn’t know how to live without using. What I found here was structure, accountability, and most importantly, support from people who understood exactly what I was going through. The rules, meetings, and responsibilities might have felt hard at first, but I came to realize they were teaching me how to live again. The friendships I built, the guidance I received, and the sense of community here gave me the foundation I needed to stay sober and grow. I’ll always be grateful for the staff and my housemates who stood by me when I couldn’t stand on my own. If you’re struggling and looking for a place to heal, I truly believe this home can give you that chance. It gave me mine, and it changed my life.

My son was hopeless, and our lives were falling apart when I called our insurance company for information on an in-network facility. Their first recommendation was Infinite Recovery, and I am eternally grateful it was. The first person we spoke with was Tanner and then the clinical department. They walked us through a full continuum of care program that was tailored to my son's needs. They also provided the most exceptional family program I have seen, and it has helped our family heal and unite. My son is still in the program living in a beautiful sober living home. He now has a job and excellent community support. I highly recommend Infinite Recovery!!!

Addiction & Psychotherapy Services (Aeschbach & Associates) has been serving the greater Austin area since 1982. Good people, invaluable service provided. Very legit (non-sketch). [EDIT/UPDATE] Well, it’s been 5 years since I posted the brief review seen above, and I feel like both this clinic AND me deserve something of an update. I am still a patient of the clinic’s, albeit a patient whose chaotic and life-threatening issues with opiate addiction thankfully have been thoroughly tamed. While Google Reviews isn’t the appropriate venue to detail the grittier personal details encompassed within an individual case of opiate addiction disorder, I will share without hesitation the undeniable reality that without the service of professionally compassionate treatment of the addiction nightmare which first brought me to their doorstep, I would not be alive and able to compose the review you’re now reading. How very happy I AM here today, able to talk about this treatment and the improvements to and gains made in my life, none of which would have been remotely possible without the service provided by this clinic. Relationships shattered by the damage wrought by addiction have been repaired. My apartment becomes a nicer and more enjoyable place to call home with each passing year as I replace belongings that I sold or traded for drugs in the past and add new ones I never had the chance to enjoy “back then.” It’s easier to look in the mirror now that I put on new, clean clothes that I like to wear, instead of rummaging through piles of tattered threads, searching for the least dirty garments I first got from donation bins and the like. My self-esteem grows each passing day. I no longer avert my eyes from those of the people I encounter. I no longer find myself having to constantly look over my proverbial shoulder, worried that the people I know will steal my belongings at the first opportunity they see to do so. I no longer find myself incarcerated, wondering what lunkheaded thing I did to land myself there while I was, no doubt, blacked-out thanks to some atrociously dangerous combination of opiates, benzodiazepines, and anything else I might have imbibed while barking at the moon. Good grief, am I ever glad that those days seem finally to be behind me. One more killer perk which I suspect just might appeal to someone out there: I haven’t been dope-sick—or, I suppose I ought to say “in withdrawal”—not even once since the first day I began treatment. Not. Even. Once. So, if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, do yourself a gigantic, merciful favor by picking up the phone and giving these fine folks a ringy-dingy-ding. You could literally change your life today. Never have I regretted my decision to do so. One love… ✌️

Sage Recovery & Wellness Center: Alcohol & Drug Rehab Austin Texas, located in Austin, Texas is a private alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions. They offer residential care providing long term support for addiction recovery, as well as flexible outpatient addiction therapy allowing patients to live
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sage Recovery and Wellness Center is truly a healing place. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the peace and care that went into creating such a beautiful environment. The property itself is stunning — from the pool and hot tub to the cozy spaces throughout the villa (which feels more like a luxury home than a facility). The daily schedule may look full at first, but it’s so thoughtfully structured. Over time, you start building healthy habits and routines that carry into your everyday life after you leave. Some of my favorite parts were equine therapy at the Healing Horses Ranch (the staff there are amazing!), accudetox, yoga, and personal training. Everything is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and appreciate the little things again. The villa is gorgeous — spacious, peaceful, and filled with comforts like books to read, a beautiful kitchen, and incredible chef-made meals. But what truly makes Sage special is the staff. They don’t just show up for you — they get down in the trenches with you. They listen, they care, and they help guide you out of the darkness with compassion and understanding. The clients I met there became like family. Everyone is going through something, and it’s so powerful to feel seen, supported, and understood in that way. The therapists and curriculum are absolutely life-changing — I learned so many coping skills that I use every day. I am beyond grateful for my time at Sage. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life, and I genuinely believe they saved my life. If you’re ready to work on yourself and heal, this is the place to do it. 💛

Not only to myself, but to Sage, I owe a depth of gratitude for my success in my journey towards sobriety. From the clinicians/techs/chefs & more, comfortable amenities and daily structure in wellness activity provided the best opportunity for success. This journey, though not easy, wouldn't be possible had I not sought out help from Sage Recovery. My life has improved tremendously as a healthier human and my mental health struggles faced head-on. Thank you! I would recommend 100%.

Getting into recovery is scary, but with my experience at omega it completely changed my life. I went from having the worst thoughts possible to now being able to handle my emotions with new skills and tools provided by clinicians and therapists. They even got my medication stable to where I can function day to day with no problem. The people I want to thank are Ela (Psychiatrist) , Kales (Therapist), And the best techs ever Kasja, Jackson, Heather and Chase .

When I found Omega, I was desperate for help. I’m a single mom, and had just taken my partner to a treatment center of his own. I spent the first week or so of being here insisting that it wasn’t gonna work, just seeing as I’ve been in and out of treatment for 11 years now. But, I’ve been here 4 weeks today and I’m so much farther now than I ever thought I could be. I have to thank all the staff for their continued support and encouragement, and even patience, while I’ve struggled and fought to get to where I am now. I’m on track to get back to my kids and I’m so looking forward to “restarting” my life now that I’m healthier mentally than I’ve felt in, quite honestly, as long as I can remember. Words will never quite be able to describe or express my gratitude towards Omega and its staff for all the love they’ve shown to me and everyone else I’ve met since I got here. I’ve been able to speak with my kids on a semi-consistent basis, my therapist has been so supportive and helpful, and everyone has been able to sit down and listen/talk with me when I need it. I can’t think of a better center than here for my situation as a parent with two little ones at home. They’re my reason for coming here and all the staff have been so understanding about that, and have used my love for them to push me to do better and BE better so I can go home and truly be the mother my babies deserve.

i was admitted here in august it was my first time ever being in a mental hospital and overall my experience was very nice i was in the sunrise unit, the staff was amazing & made me feel safe comforted and valid! i had a really bad head injury and the staff & medical staff checked up on me everyday i got transferred from the ER where they didn’t even bother looking at my head injury so i was very appreciative of that! i’m now in the outpatient program which is also amazing i will say they definitely need better food but other than that it was amazing :)
