BTL Lodge is a high accountability short term treatment center. That being said the staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to your recovery and the work required for a true recovery, not just sobriety. Heavy emphasis on the 12 steps, AA meetings every day, and life skills included. If you are truly interested in recovery and not just checking a box this place fits the bill. Also they accept insurance which was a plus for me.

I do not know where he would be without the guidance from Burning Tree Lodge. I cannot say enough good things about Eric, Josh, Scott, Chance and Shanna. Thanks for saving our son’s life.

Or maybe you're on your way right now and trying to find hope or an excuse to dip out. You will be ok! For me this place was a blessing I didn't deserve with the building blocks to not put everything back in place but to finally see there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. And Cody and my mentors having given me the tools and words to dig myself out of it. I was at the “ end of my rope “ when I came to ranch house. The men and women at ranch house loved me until I could love myself. They helped me to cultivate a spiritual foundation for which I could build a new life for myself. They gave me reason and purpose in my life. Their stories and their actions gave me hope and inspiration. They showed me how to live a life of peace and prosperity And the most important thing, to do the same for the next person.
I am eternally grateful to them and consider them my family.
I am sober and happy today thanks to God and Ranch House.

Highly recommended! I've spent 25 years and countless dollars trying to fix my addiction issues unsuccessfully. After 45 days at Ranch House I can firmly say with confidence that I'll never drink again. The staff really cares and the program is designed to actually help people. I would recommend Ranch House to my family and anyone struggling. This place saved my life.

I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending.
The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you:
The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order.
If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it.
There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps.
There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. If you need rehab, you do that after, or find a rehab that does detox on site.

Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family!
Sincerely,
Dustin❤️

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! Our experience with Alpha has been nothing short of transformative for my 15-year-old son. When we first sought help following my son's overdose, I was overwhelmed with concern and uncertainty. But from the very first phone call, the staff made us feel supported and heard. The intake process was smooth, and they took the time to carefully explain every step of the program, ensuring we were fully informed and comfortable moving forward.
The team of counselors, therapists, and support staff is exceptional. They truly understand the challenges young people face and have a unique ability to connect with teens in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My son has made incredible progress, thanks to their individualized approach that takes into account not only the addiction itself, but also the emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to it.
What stands out most about this center is their holistic approach. They don’t just treat the addiction—they work on building self-esteem, coping strategies, and life skills that are crucial for long-term success. The therapists created a safe space for my son to open up, express his feelings, and rebuild trust. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their patients and their families.
The outpatient program was tailored to my son's needs, allowing us to balance treatment with school and other activities. The center also encourages family involvement and offers parental support and therapy, which has been crucial for my understanding and support of my son's recovery journey.
The progress I've seen in my teenager over the past few months is remarkable. Not only has he shown an improved attitude toward his recovery, but I've also noticed a significant positive shift in his overall mood and outlook on life. We are beyond grateful to Alpha for giving our family hope and helping my teenager reclaim his future.
If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, and effective treatment program for a young person struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha 180. They truly saved my son and gave us the tools we need to continue on this journey together.

These people saved my life and my entire psyche. I have been away from addiction for over 15 years now. I often reflect on how profound that experience was going through their clinic. Before, I had moralized my distress, addiction and self-medication, viewing it as a personal flaw. But through their scientific system, I was able to heal and fully integrate back into society. It feels wild leaving a review for an institution like this 15 years later, but their impact is truly lifelong. I’m so grateful to Dr. Aeschbach, and to Dr. Aeschbach-Jachmann. They are true carers with a foundation in medicine and psychiatry that is sadly not found often. If any of you working at the clinic read this - thank you! If you are in need of mental help, freedom from addiction or a mixture of the two, this place is for you.
The sheer amount of lives I have witnessed restored from this program is mind blowing. The Clinical staff are comparable to warriors that quite literally go to war against the things that are holding you back from being the best version of yourself.
Is the program easy? Absolutely not, but usually, nothing that is worth completing is easy at all and for issues as complicated as mental health and addiction are, it goes without saying that a massive surge of effort and concern have to be applied but the staff here at this program make that giant of a task look more like bite sized and achievable goals.
You will work very closely with not only your own therapist, but also every therapist on site. They have aftercare emphasis near the end of your program to ensure you aren't dumped into the street upon completion assuming you are one of the many people in this world that lack a support system, they also come up with long term plans that exceed simple necessities upon leaving which, if applied, will serve you extremely well in maintaining and growing durability in your mental health.
I've been through just about every form of mental health help you can imagine. Short term programs, long term, group therapy, individualized therapy, inpatient, outpatient, the list goes on. All it took for me to change my life was a true desire to live, 1 and a half months in their inpatient care and 2 months of their outpatient program. Now I find myself taking steps for my future that I never imagined myself taking.
The program caters to just about every life circumstance and they offer several routes so whether you can only attend it during the day and need to go home afterwards or whether you can commit your time to the inpatient portion of the program, they will work with you.
If you are on the edge of that cliff in life, take one more leap of faith away from that edge and call them, I can personally attest to the restorative power that this place equipped me with and I hope that you join the many souls that have been strengthened and filled with a renewed desire for life through this organization.
Shout-out to Clinical Staff, the Techs and all of the volunteers that give their time to Omega. I will never forget any of you.

Austin, TX | Located in Austin, Texas, Community Medical Services Austin on Ferguson is a substance and drug addiction treatment facility. They offer evidence-based practices to treat substance use disorders, including opioid, prescription, heroin, and fentanyl addiction. They also offer Hep C testing. Located in Austin, Texas, Community Medical Services Aus | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I don't usually write reviews for businesses but this place and the staff have made such a difference in mine and other patients' lives, especially my counselor Becky and the receptionist Stacy. I see them bend over backwards every day to help me and everyone else who comes through here. I honestly don't know of any other business that will help get you to the clinic and back home when you can't find a ride. Just so you know, you can't ask for rides all the time, but for real emergencies, especially for people just starting their recovery, they'll go out of their way to help because they actually care.
Come to think of it, the staff here are the only people I can think of who ask me not just if I'm doing okay on my medication, but if I'm doing okay period. Lately that's meant a lot. Methadone has made staying off fentanyl 100x easier, but it's also been the hardest thing I've done, staying off opiates after 12 years of daily use, especially with everything else going on in my life right now. This clinic's support has meant the world to me.
I have a funny way of showing it though, I tend to go M.I.A. when things get hard. But even when she's got a full schedule, people waiting to see her, patients to check on in the lobby, my counselor Becky always finds a way to check on me and help me figure out whatever I'm dealing with so I can focus on staying sober instead of getting overwhelmed and giving up. That's something I know I need to work on myself. But I'm grateful for this medication and for a staff that makes this place a lifesaver for people like me.
Thank you guys for everything you do! :)

It's my second time in their IOP program and it has helped me find a community of others who I can share my experiences with and they won't judge me. Long overdue post: I attended this center around 3 years ago and did PHP, and it was by far my favorite center. I’ve been to many different mental health centers, and after going to this one, I never felt like I needed to go again. The staff there made me feel supported and I made many friends there. I developed great coping skills here, and my mental health has only gotten better since leaving this treatment. I still think about it almost everyday because of the wonderful experience I had. Some of my favorite parts included doing group yoga, walking near lady bird, and doing art projects. I am happy to say that this program is one of the reasons I am still here today.
