Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family!Sincerely,Dustin

I really needed some accountability and to be around other sober people after a relapse on alcohol in August. I signed up for the online IOP service and my counselor was Jasmine. She was amazing. I found myself looking forward to group everyday and felt a great relief of wanting to use after group. It helped me stay sober and maintain abstinence from alcohol I am truly grateful for the program. Jasmine is amazing and I consider her a good friend at this point she was able to talk me out of using my stinking thinking a lot of times and evaluate my situations from another perspective, which helped me get away from the parts of me that contribute to relapse.

This was my new patient visit. Staff was very friendly and efficient. My wait in the exam room was an hour. Dr. Gupta apologized for the wait. Commented that they were so understaffed . Also, she kept yawning said she was so tired. But, she took time with me to go over my medical history and explained her treatment in detail. I have been very pleased with my medical team in the Ascencion Seton system. It s so nice to have all my providers in a system they can communicate. I ve always received excellent care in the clinic and hospital. The facility is well maintained.

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Ms. Kary is the most knowledgeable and most realistic counselor known to name. You want to grow and continue to progress, take nothing she says with a grain of salt and listen cause if you want the help, she'll give it, but ain't no short cuts and ain't no cream puffin baby. Ms. Angela will for sure make sure that the knowledge you need is giving, but at the same time, she's also gonna make you work for it because you can lead a horse to the water but you can't make him thirsty so be ready to use your brain and decipher through things. Angela's awesome. Micheal and Keaton are an outstanding duo. They bust their asses day in and out to set you up for success, but they make sure to remind you, success is earned not giving so get off your ass, do the work and they're there to help you if they know you're serious. And my favorite of them all, Ms. Angel is LITERALLY a gift from God in human form. Her name is more than just a name, it's a direct representation of a blessing with a name on it. She pushed me day in and day out to see my worth, she listened to me express my flaws, she saw my goods my bad and my ugly, she worked with me through my insecurities, she knows how to work with each patient individually and never makes a comparison, she has a heart and spirit made of pure Gold, she's always gonna keep it a hunnit bands with you and she'll never turn a blind eyes. Ms. Angel is literally the golden ticket to my sobriety. She gave me faith and courage when I had literally giving up on life, she gave me more than a reason to live by giving me the keys to make my house a happy home again, she taught me patience and understanding, she literally made me dig deep and find out who the hell I was and when I was feeling down and out, she always lead with a pick me up, reminded me of who I am and what I'm worth, and always had that heart warming smile to go along with some words of encouragement that will make any frown turn upside down. I came to Omega more broken than I ever imagined was possible. After 6 years of trauma after trauma I was broken shell of myself. I lost 3 brothers to drug OD, one was on Christmas morning in my home. I was suffering from severe depression, anxiety, disassociation and alcoholism. I tried my best on my own for a year going to AA and intensive therapy but was not getting any better. After a year of trying on my own I found Omega. I started in the commuter program but was struggling. It was suggested that I move into the house. I was completely against the idea. I am a mom how could I leave my kids?? The program mimics challenges you will face in everyday life. This program will teach you how to face challenges in healthy ways. Here at Any length retreat I've grown spiritually and have found a solution to my drug addiction which I apply everyday to remain sober free and in good spirits. Thru community and fellowship I have learned to love life and pray for guidance. I have found my faith again and I have any length retreat to truly thank for that. I really love this clinic, all the nurses with no exceptions are so kind and very nice, they always keep a smile in their faces, even though they have to put up with a lot of different people, also the Doctor is super nice and understanding.All what you have to do is follow the rules and you will have a very smooth way to recovery, as my counselor Stephanie said they are not our enemy, they are there to help us, so if they ask you for a urin simple or something just do it because that can save your life.Anyway, I recommend this clinic to anyone that is struggling with the addiction, there is help out there, don t give up.Ok the only bad thing about the higher management is that they love money, if you miss couple of payments they will make your recovery super hard, to me they are exactly like the drug dealers in the street, you get your drugs if you pay,( again it s the higher management), but the clinic staff are very nice.

I would not be here today without this place. Ignore all the noise about medically assisted treatment, it helped me get the strength to stop destroying myself. This place hold you accountable but is also compassionate. I have gotten my dose way down and I have gotten to a place where I feel better about myself and respect my life more. I really appreciate all that they have done for me. There are days where things seem bad but usually that s my fault not the staffs and I think people really need to do more reflecting on their part in every situation. I have been with this place since it was Mars, and I was scared when all the changes began, but they were for the better and this place has become something even better.

I am 2 months sober now and super grateful for the Cenikor Foundation! The Directors, Intake Team, Behavioral Health Technicians, Counselors and Kitchen Team were AMAZING!Each and every one of the staff at the facility I was at are also in recovery and there for the whole community and met my every need and would stop what they were doing to provide me with whatever I needed.Cenikor provided me the structure I needed to work on myself. Cenikor provided me with a bed, dresser, clean towels and toiletries whenever needed, 3 amazing meals a day and snacks at night, one on one counseling, group counseling, informal classes, plenty of breaks in between classes and a lights out bedtime to ensure 8 hours of sleep. I was also on proper meds to help with alcohol detox.Cenikor brought in outside recovery groups nightly to share their experience, strength and hope. I met plenty of amazing recovering alcoholics/addicts that are clean and sober that were once in my position and inspiring the community nightly through sharing their stories.I highly recommend Cenikor for anyone struggling with alcohol or drug addiction! Thanks to be there.all the staff were very goodness. They give you privacy. But every human is not the same. All the times are on time, for meds, and food, the staff encourages to do well at all times, never left without letting another patient being able to harm you. Always thinking about tomorrow and not yesterday. Even though women and men are together its crazy energy yes but it taught to separate sickness even though we're so close together. Super friendly. The nurses were unbelievably patient. From what I witnessed in the short time I was there deal with an incredible amount of garbage and still smile and help. All the one star and bad reviews are from problem children. Place was great. The Management are all good people and care. Want to help. Even gave me a couple free days to figure out my next step. i did discovery's iop and php program and it completely changed my mental health for the better. i've been to a handful of treatment programs and this one was by far the best. i was in such an awful place at the time and after finishing up the program i honestly feel like a new person. the therapists and staff always go above and beyond. they're funny, kind, and honestly make you feel safe. i highly recommend discovery to anyone struggling with mental illness. part of me was sad to leave!

I got sober in residential treatment. But I learned how to stay sober in sober living. Living at Hyde Park mens for 8 months is the main reason I m 4 years sober today. This place provided the structure and support I needed when transitioning back to the real world. Leaving inpatient can be extremely tough. You hit the pause button on your life for a bit but then you find yourself thrown right back into the fold. Nothing has changed except for you. It was in the Arbor s sober living that I really got to put what I learned into practice. And when I got off course, I had an entire community to help get me back on the right track. I will be forever grateful for my experience with this house.

This location off of Airport Blvd is amazing. I stayed at The Inn for a week with some concerning mental health issues I've never experienced before. The entire staff, from the monitors to the nurses and medication staff, I mean literally, everyone made my time there comfortable and got me all the help I needed. They always had answers for me on anything I had concerns with.One person in particular named Marc Bickgen has shown the most of anyone. He has helped me and taught me so much. He comes to my location for counseling since my wife is using our truck for work. He is always on time, and never once has he looked at the clock to try and run out the door. We have had two sessions at my apartment, so his knowledge and leadership with me in my time of need has been an absolute blessing. I've never been shown the respect or had any counselor take the time to show what it means to have a non judgemental, non biased, no opinion, and provide more tools than I have ever known I possessed to help me.The Inn and Integral Care have been a life changing experience for me, and for the first time in years, I am hopeful with the future.Thanks again to Marc B. and the rest of the staff at the Airport Blvd location.
