I was extremely skeptical of residential treatment and rehab in general but, based on my experience there, it was everything I had prayed for. The community building and 12-Step focus was exactly what I needed to get and stay sober. I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction who earnestly wants to get better. Ranch House recovery will forever be one of my fondest memories.

Im writing this for the next addict that is reading this on the fence about if the time is right or should you do it. Or maybe you're on your way right now and trying to find hope or an excuse to dip out. You will be ok! You're in great hands with people who have been in your shoes and come out of the other side of it. For me this place was a blessing I didn't deserve with the building blocks to not put everything back in place but to finally see there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. And Cody and my mentors having given me the tools and words to dig myself out of it. I can confidently say I've left here with a family that will hold me accountable and will answer the phone when I'm in need. This was a lifelong investment worth every second. Long story short, 35 years of hard drinking landed me in a ditch in a city I'm not even from. But I thank GOD every day for it! My desperation for change got me to Briarwood detox center. I was so scared but I was unusually willing to do anything, the night before waking up in that ditch I was contemplating suicide, again. For so many years I watched my life fall apart time and time again, over and over. I really never understood why I was unable to control my drinking. Leaving Briarwood and while being transported to Nova recovery center I didn't know what to expect but my anger and anxiety were already building. I still can't get over how amazing Nova looks, it pretty much relaxes you the minute you arrive! I had never been to "rehab" before so I was blown away by the beauty of the amenities and the attentive staff. So with that said, I was sweet and grateful to be there for about 48 hours and then I started being the walking talking character defect stage character I was, telling everyone how they should do their jobs and finding things, if not inventing things to complain about. I still get embarrassed sometimes of my actions and comments I made the first weeks of my stay. But what stands out is how the staff didn't even blink! I never got the reaction I would of deserved! I was loved on! I was given understanding and compassion! They treated me like the sick person who needed help, that I was! They dug in and held me accountable with truth and what I referrer to as grace. The Recovery specialist who work with us, for us and teach us vital solutions to my disease of alcoholism that I will be forever grateful for. From the frequent individual counseling sessions to the daily group counseling classes to the, "hey I need to talk!", I received an understanding of how to maintain my life of sobriety! Nova is a very important and special place to me so I could really go on and on but the main point I want to testify about is this, I'm truly a better person today because of the dedication to helping people by the Nova recovery family! I came here barely alive, hopelessly alcoholic after years of heavy daily drinking. Going on 15 months sober. I wouldnt be here if it wasn't for them. I thought I'd need a 30-day program after, but i felt so much better by day 5 that I resolved to not drink again, and still havent. They have the drug cocktail down to a science, I barely felt any serious withdrawls. The nurses are very attentive albeit DMV-ish at times, which is a good thing in that context. The staff is very kind and caring, experienced and understanding. No nurse ratchet here. You will be frustrated by some of their institutional policies, but they do a good job explaining why those policies are in place without being overbearing or condescending. The reasons I gave it 4 stars, not 5. This is not an indictment but constructive criticism, and a warning about what to expect if these issues matter to you: The food seems to be mostly cooked off site and reheated. It's stale institutional slop, with processed food snacks left out. Nothing on the menu is fresh or natural. I had some food sensitivites and they had trouble wrapping their heads around it. I ended up mostly eating fruit cups and bagels with cream cheese. You cannot order food in. This policy is in place because people will try to sneak things in and this facility does take on patients who are there against their wishes via parents, employment deal, or court order. If you're running a detox, you may want to consider serving healthier food? Fresh fruit instead of canned? some high fiber grains? real meat, not frozen food? I brought this up. Hopefully they fixed it. There wasn't much to do there. They had a room full of movie theater seats with a flatscreen, a broken guitar, some supermarket books, AA stuff, and a set of chairs outside. Mostly you sit around and talk, watch tv, or sleep. It's a small property but you can walk laps. There's no counseling at the detox. Some AA volunteer groups shows up once in a while to talk. It may be helpful for some. There should be an on site counselor that does that job full time. Everyone else has their own specific job and sitting down and talking to people 1 on 1 didnt seem to be part of the description. They seem to be focused entirely on the medical detox aspect of the process. If you need rehab, you do that after, or find a rehab that does detox on site.

Briarwood is an amazing place with compassionate staff all the way up the chain! Briarwood has played a huge role in my journey and I am so grateful! I would recommend them for detox to anyone who needs it!

Overall good treatment center. Great therapists and all that. If you’re looking for addiction treatment I’d definitely try applying to go there. But if you need mental health treatment, you’d best look elsewhere since they only deal with mental health as it relates to addiction. Just coping skills training & some psych-ed. Not much art therapy if that’s your thing. Also, they don’t really help you find a job so just be aware of that too. I would go to them again if I relapsed I guess. They’ll get you to 6 months sober at least. Being discharged too early before I felt like I was ready activated my abandonment wound though.

My experience with Alpha (Now Release) was wonderful. This is where my experience with addiction recovery became enjoyable not just a chore. I found a distinctive unique experience. They helped me learn how to live in the outside world and experience life in ways that changed my perspective of the world. If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

I went to Cenikor 5/6/21 and have been sober ever since. I am so grateful for this place and the experience. There was one counselor specifically who helped me with my childhood trauma and I still carry what she would say to me to this day. The people who work there all have experience and genuinely care about you. I am so grateful for Cenikor foundation. Sierra I met five years ago and she was my sober house manager for two houses and now my best friend, she is truly a woman who cares and understands. This place was the first step in my continued journey of sobriety. I also never laughed so much and had so much fun in a treatment setting before. This place was nothing less than stellar. The staff was very professional from the therapists to the techs. Heather, Kayja and Julian are top tier. If you failed at this place it's because you did not apply yourself. Advocate for yourself, the staff at Omega are not magicians, they are there to educate and guide you in the right direction. I came to Omaga broken and angry and left a better person. Everyone there was always accommodating and willing to help. Nick, Jackson, Christina, Noel, Hayden, Rebecca, Kaels and Brook ...sorry if I forgot anyone...love you all. ( I saw a post from a previous resident... Key Bell... which was absolutely all lies and that infuriates me ...as he was nothing but drama and refused to put the work in...then left a bad review.... SHAME ON YOU KEY !!!

I don't usually write reviews for businesses but this place and the staff have made such a difference in mine and other patients' lives, especially my counselor Becky and the receptionist Stacy. I see them bend over backwards every day to help me and everyone else who comes through here. I honestly don't know of any other business that will help get you to the clinic and back home when you can't find a ride. Just so you know, you can't ask for rides all the time, but for real emergencies, especially for people just starting their recovery, they'll go out of their way to help because they actually care. Come to think of it, the staff here are the only people I can think of who ask me not just if I'm doing okay on my medication, but if I'm doing okay period. Lately that's meant a lot. Methadone has made staying off fentanyl 100x easier, but it's also been the hardest thing I've done, staying off opiates after 12 years of daily use, especially with everything else going on in my life right now. This clinic's support has meant the world to me. I have a funny way of showing it though, I tend to go M.I.A. when things get hard. But even when she's got a full schedule, people waiting to see her, patients to check on in the lobby, my counselor Becky always finds a way to check on me and help me figure out whatever I'm dealing with so I can focus on staying sober instead of getting overwhelmed and giving up. That's something I know I need to work on myself. But I'm grateful for this medication and for a staff that makes this place a lifesaver for people like me. Thank you guys for everything you do! :)

I’ve been going to this clinic for nearly 4 years. I’ve seen management change. I’ve seen staff change, but the only thing that has never changed is my counselor. ARZA Is the coolest dude! Stacy came months back and she has completely changed the placess energy. It’s so welcoming now. The level of love and kindness at this office is top notch! These folks care! They give you room to get your recovery on track without harping you. They meet you where you’re at and help encourage you along the way. This program truly saved my life! Dr. Hahn is the COOOOOLEST doctor!! I wouldn’t dream of going to another clinic. They kinda feel like an extended family. 🩵💙 I love CMS North🩵💙

If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker.

Dr Crispa Aeschbach is a very intelligent Doctor. She actually cares about patients and wants to see them succeed. They get excited when they see others doing well in the program. It's scary to make this decision. You're giving up the thing that has gotten you through life for so long. It's like letting a best friend go. However, it will be the BEST decision you have ever made in your entire life. It's true. The only regret will be you not doing this sooner. There is a way out of hell and this is it. The women working up there are the best. Stop looking for other clinics right now because you found the one. This is also a one stop shop for your other psychiatric medications, not just methadone or buprenorphine. Got depression or adhd as well? No problem, they will help you with that too! They also offer acupuncture and EMDR. They have multiple group sessions each week day and they actually help. It's precious how these cute girls handle the medicine like pros. They are so sweet too. Just don't lie to them. They know if you are and they help you more when you're honest and actually trying. When you prove yourself with clean UAs overtime, they will work even harder to ensure you're successful. I have both pain and opiate use disorder and they are helping me manage my pain and my opiate use disorder. Guess what? It's working. Dr. Aeschbach knows her stuff and consider yourself lucky if you're able to be under her care.

These people saved my life and my entire psyche. I have been away from addiction for over 15 years now. I often reflect on how profound that experience was going through their clinic. Before, I had moralized my distress, addiction and self-medication, viewing it as a personal flaw. But through their scientific system, I was able to heal and fully integrate back into society. It feels wild leaving a review for an institution like this 15 years later, but their impact is truly lifelong. I’m so grateful to Dr. Aeschbach, and to Dr. Aeschbach-Jachmann. They are true carers with a foundation in medicine and psychiatry that is sadly not found often. If any of you working at the clinic read this - thank you! The staff and support helped me through some of the most difficult years of my life in my early twenties.

Long overdue post: I attended this center around 3 years ago and did PHP, and it was by far my favorite center. I’ve been to many different mental health centers, and after going to this one, I never felt like I needed to go again. The staff there made me feel supported and I made many friends there. I developed great coping skills here, and my mental health has only gotten better since leaving this treatment. I still think about it almost everyday because of the wonderful experience I had. Some of my favorite parts included doing group yoga, walking near lady bird, and doing art projects. I am happy to say that this program is one of the reasons I am still here today.

I got sober in residential treatment. But I learned how to stay sober in sober living. Living at Hyde Park mens for 8 months is the main reason I’m 4 years sober today. This place provided the structure and support I needed when transitioning back to the “real” world. Leaving inpatient can be extremely tough. You hit the pause button on your life for a bit but then you find yourself thrown right back into the fold. Nothing has changed except for you. It was in the Arbor’s sober living that I really got to put what I learned into practice. And when I got off course, I had an entire community to help get me back on the right track. I will be forever grateful for my experience with this house.
