About Ranch House Recovery

Ranch House Recovery is located on Roemer Road in Elgin, Texas. They offer behavioral health services to address addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. They are located in a residential-type facility in a rural community surrounded by farms and near Highway 95.

It’s not far from hotels, small local businesses and accessible to restaurants and retail stores via several rural highways. They are also close to several natural landmarks including East Metropolitan Park, Lake Pflugerville Park and Northeast Metropolitan Park.

Focused on Regenerative Therapy

The staff offers regenerative recovery, which practices under the philosophy that relapse is always a possibility as you re-engage with a supportive community, and its practices and principles. They work with you through therapy, one-on-one counseling and services to provide a stable environment for you to meet your sobriety goals.

30, 60 and 90 Day Programs

I think it’s great that they offer a 30, 60 and 90-day intensive rehab program to ensure you are able to reach stabilization and understand the importance of meeting your goals. They offer peer-supported therapy groups, animal therapy programs and engagement services with the community. The goal is to make sure you are able to reintegrate back into your communities as a healthier version of your past self.

Healing Your Mind, Body and Soul

I love that they aim to heal your mind, body and soul through multiple levels of treatment and community engagement. They utilize many forms of recreational therapy through taking advantage of the surrounding natural beauty.

The goal is to help you re-establish and heal past relationships, which may have been damaged because of your co-occurring disorders. They also help you understand that a recovery lifestyle is sustainable and something worth striving for.

I can’t express enough how transformative my experience at Ranch House was . This facility not only provided the support I needed to achieve sobriety, but it also offered a unique environment that fostered healing. The farm aspect is truly special. Working with the horses, donkeys, and chickens created a sense of responsibility and connection that I found incredibly therapeutic. Plus, the opportunity to pick fresh vegetables and sell them at local markets added a sense of purpose. Knowing that the proceeds help fund scholarships for others is a wonderful touch that reflects the center's commitment to giving back. The staff was compassionate and dedicated, creating a supportive atmosphere that encouraged personal growth. I left feeling empowered and ready to face the world.

I am extremely grateful I choose ranch house over any other treatment center. The combination of work outside on the farm, community, and therapy was exactly what I needed to jumpstart my sobriety. The best part about Ranchhouse is the connections I made here, and the aftercare plan they helped me create. I now have a full community of sober friends to hold me accountable as I go out into the world. I write this as I prepare to leave the ranch. It’s a bittersweet experience. I enjoyed my time here. I had fun, and I was given the perfect environment to work on my addiction. This is my second treatment center, and many of the guys I was with were on their 4th and 5th and we all agree that Ranchhouse is the best. I can’t recommend this place enough.
