I went it’s literally the best recovery place ever super nice very understanding staff,everybody is there only to help u ,the food is truly amazing ,nursing is on point ,the r a s there are very friendly he beach walks are awesome I mean I’ve been a meth addict for over 30 years ,been to prison ,first treatment center I’ve ever learned a way to stay sober ,I hope everyone that gets the chance to go stays sober

I have been to several different treatment centers yet never a place like this!❤️👍❤️ The clinical team was outstanding and the recovery advocates were amazingly loving and caring... I was treated with total respect and the place was beautiful... The food is amazing 🤩 The bedrooms are very nice the facility is soooo clean ..... The classes for recovery are great 👍 Like I said the staff pays 120 % attention to you.. What more could you ask for then to recover on a gorgeous island. South Padre is beautiful. I've been sober 105 days and gained the tools I needed to live a life in recovery.. I would totally refer anyone to this place. Trust me it's perfect to recover from such a nightmare of any substance abuse you may be suffering.. they'll teach you everything you need to get well and stay well 🙂🤗

I was in the Hannah House from February 8th until March 10th. Everyone there is awesome. They literally care about everyone that is in there. Not going to lie the first couple weeks were rough but I survived thanks to the loving staff there. I learned routines and have kept up with them at home. I went in a very broken person addicted to Xanix and alcoholic with depression, grief and anxiety. I feel great no cravings whatsoever and I have been clean and sober for 62 days today! I was able to work through my depression, anxiety and grief also!! Thanks to this wonderful place where I will always call home.

This place saves lives and not just because of the medicated assisted treatment program they offer. I don't know where I would be if it weren't for the kind staff member that answered the phone that day, I was in the middle of detoxing and was desperate, If you know you know! Yolanda answered she gave me strength to stay clean and courage to wait until I could do my orientation. She was caring, understanding, companionate and most importantly she treated me with dignity, which is not always the case when on medication for addiction. Since I've been attending the program I've gotten to know all staff and they are ALL just as amazing as Yolanda! If your looking for a MAT program I definitely recommend, however call ahead and get all details on how to sign up I know they do orientation on certain days and time. WE DO RECOVER! One day at a Time!!

Mrs. Escobar is AMAZING. When I first reached out for help I was very very sick. She explained that the doctor is only in on Tuesdays and I was calling on a Wednesday. She said she'd reach back out to check on me but I didn't really think she would. Monday came around and she actually called. I came in and am now doing better then ever. The staff is amazing and I'm greatful for all their help.

Come see for yourself because we all have our own opinion; not everyone experiences the same… These are great doctors. They have treated me with respect, and even when I was upset, they were professional and understanding. They will help you as much as they can. The caseworker is awesome. I appreciate his honesty and his support, as he will always give me great advice and hope. Prescriptions are given quickly when needed as soon as possible. They will work with your work schedule as well. I'm assuming the bad reviews are from those who didn’t give this place a chance or someone who had one bad experience. I have been with Tropical for 7 years now. I know it was a bit much for me at the beginning, but give it a chance; you’ll learn to grow as you seek the help you need. You’ll get to see how much these doctors do care, and they are doing their best to help you. Of course, like all hospitals and offices, it will be busy, and that’s not their fault, and they can only do so much, so I say come by and see for yourself if you're experiencing mental health issues. My doctor is nice; he cared for my sickness and had someone check my stomach. My psychiatrist is nice. I recommend anyone. Don’t listen to these bad comments; trust me. Seek your own opinion. I honestly don’t understand what these people want from a behavioral health facility. When they do all they can, everyone gets busy, and when they don’t answer your call, big deal; call them back. I’ve read these ridiculously bad comments.

Super affordable medications. I am able to treat my hyperthyroid with their affordable health care medications . They care about low income families. I can’t even express the gratitude I have from this place. There’s time I can’t afford to pay for medications and they let me take the medications even if I don’t have anymore money. They have doctors that work hard to help others. They are truly my life saving cause. I was also hospitalized on the physique union i was diagnosed with schizophrenia. They treated me well. Staff is not violent at all.they only take down patients when they are being violent They limit clothes and belongings to prevent self harm doctor meetings are based on you level of care.your there to get help not treat the staff as hotel.maids they are there for you to talk to them helo you out. If you struggling with an addiction to opiates, and you are tired of being sick and tired, reach out to El Dorado. The staff is amazing and they truly care. I have battled with addiction to opiates since 2004, but since I became a client at El Dorado in June of 2015, I have been able to completely change my life. My counselor Gabe is very helpful, as is the supervisor, the receptionist, and the nurses. Its absolutely nothing like other MAT facilities, and I have been to facilities in Corpus Christi, TX, Houston, TX, Austin, TX, West Palm Beach, FL, and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Original review 1 star: They never answer the phone, their auto attendant is a test message, and they don't return messages. Edit: I ended up going into the office myself and speaking to a counselor. I proceeded to complete phase 1 and 2 here. Amazing experience. Don't know if they fixed the phone issue, but the councilors are incredible. Adrian, Monica, and Steven made a great impact in my recovery journey. Thank you all so much. 5 stars 🤩

When I arrived, I was struggling badly with PTSD and alcohol use. The staff truly helped me get back on track, both mentally and physically. Their focus on trauma made a big difference. I just wish there were more veteran-specific groups available.

My experience at DHR Behavior Health intensive Out outpatient (IOP) after my in patient stay has helped me deal with everything I was going through in a really positive way and has given me the tools that I need to continue to deal with past and future issues so I can have a health and productive life to be able to cope with anything and everything that life throws at me. 5 stars / fully endorse their program for anyone who want to deal with and of their issues.

A family member needed help with dementia-related medications and treatment and we are so very glad for the kind staff we encountered at DHR Behavioral. Every call was kind and compassionate, and the nurses, support, and office staff were patient with us as we walked through their care. Monique, Patricia, Eileen and several others were incredibly helpful, but I would be remiss if I didn't make special mention of our social worker, Felix. He eased our anxiety, provided guidance through what was, for us, a complicated situation due to extenuating circumstances, and went above and beyond to keep us informed and on track with a developing situation. I'm especially grateful for him and hope he sees much success returned back to him.

Wow, I'm speechless!! Some of these statements and comments are disturbing and they bring doubts into my mind! But I have to say quite the opposite! The day I called I was in a crisis and TTBH -Weslaco, kicked it into hi gear and I was given an appointment for intake and placement of services right the next day! And yes I even got a call back at 20:20 pm that same evening the operative asked and wanted to know how I felt and if I needed any help or if I was still presently in crisis! Then the next morning again I got a phone call at 0830 am, from another operative wanting to know if I was okay? Her call I missed because I didn't pick up, I thought it was a misc. call! But I made it to my appointment and I got the Red Carpet Treatment!! DR m when I walked into the building till when I left at 17:15 pm, I felt like they cared and I was their #1 priority!! They even had transportation for me from one of the supervisors who does that for a complete strangers!? I'll tell you who, Texas Tropical Behavioral Health -Weslaco! So, Idk and I'm not speaking for anyone else but myself! I'm going to give TTBH -WESLACO, a chance and I'm going to stick with them and my LOC plan! And if there is something I don't like I'm sure we can talk about it like civilized individuals!! Thank You, TTBH -WESLACO!!
