My experience for this recovery was truly helpful. I had no issue with the staff and answered every question that I asked without a problem. The staff made sure that I got the proper treatment and need of assistance. No problem with communication and always willing to attend to any help.

I had a great experience with them. I had no idea who to turn to when DV happened to me and my daughter. We received counseling & while I was hoping for legal services as well the office is a little disorganized and never heard anything back after following up many times which is why I have 4 stars instead of 5. But if you’re someone in need they do their best to help you.

I literally was just sitting down, minding my business, waiting on a friend to take care of his business, when a worker legitimately concerned, asked me if someone had already helped me. That made me feel so seen, and validated somehow. If that's how they treat you without knowing if you're in for service, I can only imagine how committed they'll be when receiving care.

This hospital is a money racket. They charged me for Filling out paperwork. After the paper work was filled out and speaking to the staff. I realized this facility didn't provide the services I needed. So I declined scheduling an appointment. 3 weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $255.

I wasn't there for long, but I can see the good this place does for people. I left due to inner conflictions of faith, but that wouldn't be the case with the vast majority of people who come here. I would recommend to 99% of people who have addiction issues, as this place is a hidden haven for those who need it the most. I appreciated a lot of the staff. The fact that all of them used to go here at one point gives another element that adds to the success of this place. Appreciate the willingness to help and to accept anyone no matter who they are. I went through the Bay Area Recovery Center, and it completely changed my life. After getting a DUI, I was required to go through this program to keep my job — but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I’ve now been clean and sober for almost 10 months. The staff truly care and helped me believe in myself again. A huge thank you to Mr. Billy and Blake and everyone there for guiding me through my recovery. Gary and Jeanie in the evening CD group are great. I struggled for a long time and have kept coming back to this group because of these two. Gary educates us on alcohol and addiction in a context that I can understand. He keeps the group on point, but in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.

This program saved my life. The therapist and staff are very supportive and generally care about my recovery. The after care is so helpful and is a solid part of my program.

uhm i don’t really leave reviews as you can tell i made this fake account for food reviews. but i just can’t see this place being so badly rated. i can go on and on about a lot of horrible treatment from other hospitals i’ve been through. and although i can’t remember the first time i was here, i’ll definitely will remember the last time. i had turned 18 in there and was moved into the adult unit. and the staff helped me feel so much better than i ever did in that time of my life. i had gotten a cake, was sung to, and felt so much love and care from the staff and patients. i’m not sure but i think i met the man who owned this place. he immediately helped me calm down and showed immense care for me even though i was being erratic bc i had to be near said abuser who only came to steal my belongings from the police. but idc that place made me feel safe. safer than i ever been before. even if it was just for a week. also they had the best chefs there. never seen a place put so much love and effort into the food the patients were getting. <3

I got a good service from this hospital, all the staff are very polite and friendly, food was very good, I got medicine on time everyday and they clean every day even washroom is too good.Thankyou.

It's been a few years since I've been to this place, it was a required outpatient program that I had to do for a legal matter. There were different options on time slots, the classes weren't too big where you'd get anxiety, but they were big enough and diversified enough where I felt comfortable sharing. Even though I did not want to be there, and I made it perfectly clear from the get-go, the staff was super kind and put up with all my BS with a smile! Admissions was extremely easy and if I remember correctly either the state or Medicaid covered the cost. For a cheaper outpatient option, this was one of the better ones I have been to. Overall a pretty decent experience for a rehab facility!

Went here when i was 16 around 2016, i will tell you this, this place will challenge your way of thinking. It was hard sometimes, people dont want to listen and its easy to succumb to negative influences, but these people here genuinely care about the kids they look after. I got to know alot on a personal level and alot of them had been through alot of the same stuff i had been through and could relate. I will say this as someone who has been through alot, you want someone who can relate to you when it comes to a rehabilitation situation. Its easier to trust someone when you know they can feel that pain too. Dont listen to all these lame people giving one stars, none of them know what they're talking about. The councilors and tech staff genuinely want to see these kids do good. They helped me see i had a problem and it isnt right that people want to bash them when they have done so much for me and my peers from that time in my life. If any of you guys see this i love yall and hope yall are doing good. Especially you Ms Haynes and mr Colbert!

I spent almost 6 months here back in 2015-16. I'm 22 now. Mr Wyllie, Ms Wendy, Mr Omar, Mr Antwuan, Mr E , Mr Aladin , all great people. I think about them, my fellow brothers and this place often. My counselor Mr Robinson was awesome as well. They fed us great, we went on trips and before I left we went to the U of H for an anniversary party and it was some o the best memories of my life. they were strict but we were still able to have fun. They looked out and cared about us. I was hard headed and didn't want to listen and I all these years later it hits me.

I have been coming here for years. I have always received good treatment and care with little wait time. Thanks to everyone that works here for a job well done!

A lot of people who are reviewing 1 stars are just people who like to complain about everything. I've called for many things and have gone to many appointments. Never had an issue. it's not just me either. I can hear other people talking casually to the doctors and receptionist every time. There might be one bad apple in the bunch, but not enough to leave a bad review

This also requires you to work your program and be serious about your disposition, while possessing the will and drive to make things better for yourself. Located in a discreet professional building right off I-10 in the Northshore area, you can be sure that every prospective and tenured client alike will be treated in a compassionate manner, where privacy is the highest priority. There is ample space and seating for monthly meetings, and to wait if necessary. Plenty of parking is provided in the adjacent parking garage with a minimal walk to the building for senior patients whether you park on the first or second floor.
