We received counseling & while I was hoping for legal services as well the office is a little disorganized and never heard anything back after following up many times which is why I have 4 stars instead of 5. The facility is magnificent and far exceeded my expectations of a recovery facility. Firstly, I was allowed to bring my fur baby with me which was a wonderful comfort to me. I don’t think I would have done as well without having her with me. The facilities are clean and well-kempt. The staff is caring, understanding, and genuinely invested in your unique recovery journey (Jacob and Sunny are phenomenal). The therapists authentically understand the journey to recovery and ensure everyone feels respected and heard. While your recovery is taken seriously and put in the work, they make the process fun and relatable. The physician and nursing staff is thorough and available 24/7 - they care about each patient and their bedside manner is impeccable. They are NOT autonomous robots like you see with a lot of other medical facilities. Nursing even does occasional group sessions on the medical aspects of recovery, post-recovery preventative care. You are even sent home with a supply of medications to help bridge the gap between discharge and your own provider. And the food… where do I start? I have travelled all over the country for work, eating at high end hotels and restaurants yet the thrice daily meal here far exceeded in quality and variety. The thrice daily, freshly cooked international cuisines were amazing! They also have juices, sodas, flavored water, coffee, teas, high end snacks, and even ice cream available 24/7. They have working washers and dryers and even provide Tide pods and dryer sheets. The outside grounds are peaceful and the outside activities during and after group sessions are relaxing. They have karaoke, acupuncture, movie nights, and yoga among other activities. I highly recommend this facility!

My daughter was recently admitted and I’m so hopeful she will have a positive and life changing experience here. I’ve heard this place has good vibes and helpful staff. I cannot recommend The Right Step enough! I stayed here from medical detox all the way through residential discharge, and they have been with me through thick and thin. The detox process was safe and as comfortable as possible. The counselors and staff truly care about your recovery and teach you the life skills you need. I am incredibly grateful to this team for not only getting me sober but for giving me the tools to stay sober. Thank you, Right Step, for giving me my life back. I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don’t know you need professional help until you’re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care. I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did. From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome. Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. They helped me choose to do the work. Be it daily checking in, verbalizing my emotion at the time, concerns, etc, these are the things for me, that were so beneficial in my mental wellness. Heights Treatment was a Godsend and it saved my life. I love how unique each therapist is. They have a wide variety of therapies including equine therapy, emdr, trauma processing, as well as individual and group therapy. I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I went to inpatient at Menninger on the 27th of march and came out a week later. My sleep is amazing, my anxiety has been HEALED. My diagnosis was reached in a matter of 5 days and I had a team of personal psychiatrists and doctors attending to my mental and physical health. Amazing experience and I left inpatient missing it and wanting to go back. I’m doing PHP now and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Dr Lin and Dr wolfenburger were absolutely incredible and very well rounded individuals who knew what they were doing. I heard just horrible things about Dr Limmons though. There had been multiple patient advocate calls made against her. So stay out of her way. You will get better here no matter what happens. everything at Menninger was designed for you and you alone, for your journey, for your physical health, for everything. thank you Menninger. Thank you

(i went to the kids unit for 3 weeks and just left yesterday, im 16!!) this place is genuinely so amazing, the people who work there are all such sweethearts and i'm gonna miss them so so much :( i came in extremely suicidal and i had self harmed so many times before i came, but i left with actual hope and excitement to keep going in life. it's not just a mental hospital, it's a place where you meet extremely interesting people to relate to and heal/stay safe from whatever you're going through. it didn't fix me, but it made me stable and confident in my future and mental health/stability. my heart goes out to all of the staff and the other patients i met, love you guys so much!!!!!! i'll miss you guys :(( (especially mr orion, jarvis, anjali, taty, amanda, larry, etc etc bc there's so many lol)

In hindsight I'm gonna go ahead and give a five star to this clinic. They have really as a whole gone above and beyond for me.,.without charging me a penny. The nurses and counselors are really fantastic. Yes it's their job , but they could easily work somewhere that doesn't require getting up at 3 am or whatever. Most all of them genuinely care about harm reduction and saving lives. The parking lot is guarded and free of fights , thefts, getting robbed for take home medication ( something I saw in the Dallas area) I know I left an initial bad review but that wasn't fair of me because it stemmed from a personal issue I perceived at the time. This is a really good clinic, they have government funding , and you can hit the metro rail and bus stops with a rock. So if you are tired of the life you are living due to opioids there's really no reason not to go. Methadone is not for everyone,and yes it can cause really severe withdrawals if you don't taper properly,but it's the only way I was able to stop. Plan to give a minimum 3 years to any methadone program. It takes time to get stable on a dose...it may take you a while to stop using your doc..then ideally you work on family , employment etc, then take a good year to slowly taper off. Some people need to stay on it indefinitely and that's ok too.

Ms. Nancy runs the front desk.. She is ON IT like Nobody's Business!!! she is so kind, professional, in super helpful... She is the glue that holds that place together. She helps keep each of us clients on track, helping me and others make sure we sign in appropriately, keeping all of our contracts in order and up to date. . She goes above and beyond with each and every one of us clients, and I'm sure the staff as well. She never says NO!! I can not help you...., Her heart , her empathy is amazing. Even though we as clans are there because we have suffered from addiction at some point in their life, she treats each and every one of us with integrity and dignity and respect. Unfortunately many of us have suffered from homelessness and she is the one person in this world that we know we're going to be accepted and treated fairly everyday all day all the time and I personally am so grateful and treats the other clients and the staffthe same, behaves in such a manner to them as well. Thank You Ms. Nancy I wish there were more people like you in this world. you deserve what's the Highest Kudos EVER!!!

Friendly and passionate staff make for a great experience all the way through the entire intake process. Great nurses, great Doctor plus quick dosing wait time despite the number of patients being seen at one time. I recommend this clinic 💯 percent

I did IOP and SOP during the covid 19 pandemic so almost everything was done online thru gotomeetings and zoom Heather Allen and Tisha Day were amazing, as well as with all the ladies and gentlemen I got the pleasure of getting to know while attending group Texas City IOP and SOP thru Adapt SAVED and CHANGED my life Thank You
