My son had a mental health emergency in May. Although he didn’t go to La Hacienda Brittany was Amazing in guiding us through such a difficult time! By God’s grace and Britanny’s help my son is doing so much better. I highly recommend starting here if you don’t know what to do with a family member or friend going though mental or substance abuse issues.

Words could never express my appreciation for the team at La Hacienda. The buildings are older than I expected, but the love and treatment there is state of the art. The time spent there will put you or your love one on the right track to the life you are seeking. The family program is not easy, but plays a huge role in success. The family support during and after is amazing. It is like an extended family reunion of support each week, where joys are celebrated and those experiencing set backs are supported. Our family will always appreciate and be thankful for La Ha.

Ripple Ranch Recovery Center is a substance addiction treatment center in Spring Branch, Texas. They provide a safe, comfortable environment that encourages recovery with detox and residential programs. They also have a partner program that allows them to refer guests to step-down treatment services, like intensive outpatient and general outpatient
The staff at Ripple were an incredible group of people! They were all incredibly loving, caring, and supportive. If you’re considering rehab or have questions about it, I highly recommend Ripple. They changed my life. It wasn’t an overnight transformation, but they helped me sober up and discover the root cause of my addiction. After 15 years of hard-core drug use, I’ve quit several times, but always relapsed after a few weeks. However, I’ve been sober since I left Ripple and now have a completely different perspective on life. If you’re on the fence about rehab , I wholeheartedly recommend Ripple. You won’t regret it.

This place is amazing. The complaints in the reviews worried me. But the moment I arrived I was treated with the upmost care. Only weak people leave a treatment facility like this. This place saved my life and I was treated with dignity and respect throughout. I have my life back and that is what I went there for. Anybody you read on here that has anything bad to say is soft. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Warriors Heart in Bandera, TX was the safest spot I could’ve landed when my life was burning down. I came in drowning in booze, broken from childhood abuse, combat PTSD, and straight rage. They gave me the tools to start building something solid out of all that wreckage. Biggest lesson for me was Ego. I thought I had one, maybe two. Nah, I had a fleet of them! All those past traumas twisting up and firing off as anger. Warriors Heart helped me see it, strip it down, and start putting in the real work. Most of the staff are real ones, and they show up every day with wisdom, patience, and love. It wasnt a magic fix. But it’s where the construction starts, new foundations can be started, and for me, that made all the difference. 🙏

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Starlite Recovery Center for their professionalism, compassion, and the exceptional care they provided. They consistently went above and beyond my expectations throughout my stay. My treatment at Starlite lasted 36 days, and the tools, insight, and support I received during that time have been foundational to my sobriety. I am now 56 days sober and continuing my recovery journey through PHP, followed by IOP. The progress I’ve made is directly tied to the work I began at Starlite. I would wholeheartedly recommend Starlite Recovery Center to anyone who is ready to do the work and truly wants to get better. highly recommend this treatment center to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health challenges. I admitted my mom for depression and addiction, and this place not only gave her the tools she needed to rebuild her life, but also helped her work through deep-rooted trauma. She had an incredible experience and came out a renewed, joyful, and peaceful version of herself—something I haven’t seen in a very long time. The staff is genuinely caring and compassionate, and even the owners took the time to personally support us throughout the process. It’s clear that everyone here truly cares about the work they do. SARC saved my life. My life had become unmanageable and was spiraling out of control. I was still working my full time successful career, but it was only a matter of time before I could have lost everything I’ve spent my life building. Tired of waking up with a black box of wine on my nightstand I threw lord knows what into my suitcase and checked into Cagnon for 38 days. For a girl accustomed to being in complete control I was petrified. I was a mess. The staff was so welcoming and walked me through the process. Was I ready to take 12 weeks off of work? It was life or death and I chose life. The detox process was tough. Reba and Alan made me as comfortable as I could be. I had sweats and nightmares. Roy, a lead counselor calmed me down. My job for 5 days was sleep, hydrate and rest. Gen the program Director Is fabulous. She kept assuring me trust in the process. Allow myself time to heal, grieve and let someone take care of me for once. The days are very structured with wellness, nutrition, groups, education, counseling. Nutrition and routine and self discipline are key. We have one job while in treatment. Show up!! It’s impossible not to learn, grow and learn valuable tools and coping skills to set you up for a lifetime of sobriety. All counselors know your name and your case. They are always available to lend an ear and advice. The center is staffed with people in long term recovery. Richard, Steven, Blake, Jess, Mandy Jo all have real life experience , Every night there is an AA meeting and fellow patients can meet in groups to do book study, talk and truly become a recovery family. This is a private facility that works with many insurance companies and helps people who need to make arrangements for private pay. The setting is serene and a wonderful place to heal. Gen, Roy and Paula are true experts in their field. Each with their own individual techniques and special touches to group sessions. I am for ever indebted to the techs, counselors and Karen and Raul Ruelas for their relentless passion in fighting for those struggling with substance abuse disorder to live a long happy life free of drugs and alcohol. World class facility. Amazing caring people who pour their heart and sole into what they do. Highly recommend if your looking for a program that treats the total individual and follows up on you for life. Love you all for all you did for me. XoXo D. Run don’t walk!! Jackie should be stripped of her license. She used her position to look up my information and called me at 6:50am in California. This woman has ZERO business running a recovery facility. She heckled me and was relentless on the phone. I filed a grievance with State and against her. So sad she’s in charge. Place went downhill after Karen and Raul sold. Tragic. Go to New Day or SOBA. She’s a disgrace to the recovery community!! Do not go there.

I have been at VA Kerrville since 2018, although many issues with the entire STVA system I enjoy being out here. I have had my same healthcare team and used the same patient advocate since and because I advocate for my self using the tools the VA has given is the only reason I think my Health care is decent enough. Community care in the South Texas Hill country is slow but I prefer my PCP/PCM (Pink Team) over Audi Murphy (felt like cattle going to slaughter) any day. I just moved back to my home of record in SA and I will choose to drive out to Kerrville VA. The Lab, X-ray and Cantina are excellent compared with others as far as customer service and knowledge goes in my experience.

Love the staff at Kerrville VA, all the way from house cleaning, volunteers, maintenance staff to clerks and medical staff. "Hi, hello, how are you" are heard often in the hallways. I'm seen on the Pink Team and I could not get better care and treatment from clerks to medical providers. The Optometry clinic is small but never an issue getting an appointment. The clerk acknowledges patients quickly. Optometrists are very through. The eye glass department has a very knowledgeable staff, good selection of frames and staff is well trained to help pick the right frame for the right face.

Waking up to deers running around on the grounds is just breathtaking, and the perfect way to start the day. There are also adorable goats (yes goats), plus horses who love to accept carrots that you can get from the kitchen. Tennis courts, basket ball hoops, swimming pools, Jacuzzis and lots of long walks close by. The staff are caring and always ready to help, the chef is wonderful, providing delicious fresh food every day, they even have their own veggie and herb garden. Soba Texas is a beautiful, serene place, providing the perfect environment for self reflection and the process of healing from life's challenges. Plus they allow you to bring your pet if you wish, which is refreshing and so nice. Group meetings and sessions are empowering and educational, Soba Texas provides a healing break away from the world and a chance to regroup, learn, grow, and then return to the world refreshed, invigorated and ready to fall in love with life again. Yup, clearly I recommend this lovely place.

First and foremost I want to say I would give SOBA a million stars if I could. Many leave false reviews and I witnessed this multiple times. Addicts know how to manipulate and are the best of the best at doing so. SOBA has rules in place for 100% success and 100% safety for all in treatment. If you violated the rules you must be terminated to keep it a safe environment for all of us that want to heal. If a client is discharged at the fault of their own actions the first thing I heard multiple times is I am going to leave a bad review. Thank you SOBA for taking a false bad review and keeping this a safe place to recover. Sadly to say we are a family of 8 (YES 8) that reside in Michigan and have recovered out of state only because of SOBA. We all have years of sobriety due to the highest standards SOBA has set to teach you a beautiful new way instead of using mind altering substances. I was petrified at age 45 to enter a treatment center and I had an extremely bad attitude when I arrived! I was determined to find something wrong with SOBA so I could have a reason to leave. SOBA is different than the other treatment centers we tried multiple times in Michigan. We all failed on numerous attempts. SOBA is loving, kind, knowledgeable, safe and a peaceful place to recover. SOBA far exceed my expectations and I stayed in treatment for 16 months. Our children (3) stayed in treatment for 2 years. My sister and nephews also recovered at SOBA with a lengthy stay in sober living. It is so important to reside in sober living after inpatient and do the work. Leaving treatment early will end in failure. If it were not for SOBA I can honestly say several of us would not be alive today.

I owe my life to the VOA. I came to them, a scared and broken woman. I left armed with the knowledge and coping skills to help me achieve an alcohol-free life. I started out walking to work to do housekeeping at a hotel, and just this past year, was promoted to General Manager. I have yet to touch a drop of alcohol. I know that I could not have done it on my own. Thank you, VOA, from the bottom of my heart.

The way they treat those in recovery is less than human but as long as they get their money they’re happy. If they feel you’re below them they will make sure you know

What a great group of guys What a great program. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike the guy at the front I had been working with him about 2 weeks before we were able to drive my son up there. He was very welcoming and open about everything. We even discussed some earlier reviews on this site. We left the ranch compketely comfortable. Can't wait to see God move in my son's life. He is Now Willing. .... Stay tuned.

What a awesome clinic! I moved here from Florida 8 months ago and was so nervous about changing clinics. But this clinic has made the transition so smooth. Everyone from the nurses to the counselors and especially the doctor are beyond nice and welcoming. And you can tell they all care about your sobriety. I'm in and out everytime I come. Have nothing but positive to say about this location.

This place is dangerous the staff will actually increase your child’s diagnosis by the way they treat them they yell and curse at them the upper management does absolutely nothing to To the staff that are missed treating the kids. My son was held and restrained by a staff member while allowing another kid to spit and beat him up also there’s been numerous times where my son was restrained and I was never contacted. This place will end up killing a child one day I’m pulling my son out of there ASAP. We are also trying to get this taken off of approved try care treatment center to the staff that are missed treating the kids. I’m in the middle, I’ve had good experiences and bad. I’ve had two kids at this particular treatment center, boy and a girl. So this is a long review. My son: When he first got to the treatment center I felt like the in-person admission process was a little rushed and in our face, like they were in a hurry to scurry on away with him. He was nervous and we were pretty apprehensive to begin with. Once he was admitted the communication sucked. We got a good first impression from the receptionist in the admission building, and that building itself wasn’t too bad. We all liked the campus and how there is plenty of wildlife on it. -on his unit there were two nurses that were fabulous, did their jobs and communicated well, I feel as though they deserve recognition for that RN Curtis, and RN Arnason, they really showed they cared about the kids and their well being and were good at communicating back and forth with a parent. -his unit staff were sort of too easy on the kids, didn’t really appear to have the same standards across the board, some ask for MR numbers some didn’t. They wouldn’t relay that you called or sort of encourage the child to call, if I didn’t call and haunt them I probably would have never spoken with him, other than family therapy. My feedback on this would to work on communication skills and consistency. -he had an amazing therapist that worked really well with him, we really liked working with her.The Therapists and Nurses don’t get enough credit. - I wouldn’t send your child with things that aren’t necessary, they will get lost or broken or stolen. I wouldn’t send suggest buying cheap fidget toys, coloring books or card games. Things you won’t miss if they come up missing. I wouldn’t send your child with expensive clothing either, it will get ripped torn or stained or also go missing. This isn’t the staffs fault it just happens. -there was an instance where they x-rayed my sons wrist several times like 3 or 4 because he punched a wall, and they couldn’t get a clear image, that sounded like that was more of an issue with the company they used rather than the treatment center staff themselves. Over all my son left the unit with much better coping skills and understanding, he is now regulated on his medication regimen, he got an IEP I had struggled getting for him while he was at KI charter school, he received the speech therapy he had needed for a while and couldn’t get into back home due to the insane waiting lists. I thank everybody that worked with Gabe for helping him on this journey, it means alot to his whole family. Now on to my daughter: - if you have a daughter I would really think this through thoroughly, I feel like I caused for damage to her personally by deciding to send her, as it turned out to really not be a good fit for her. The units for the girls are VERY LOUD and chaotic, with frequent behaviors you can hear going on in the background and they are very hectic. My daughter became very overwhelmed and more anxious being there. She does have a great therapist that she likes, she enjoys some of the staff on the unit. The staff that answer the phone on her unit are usually very friendly and sound happy (whether they are or not) . They always have her return my phone call and relay that we called her. Which we really appreciate. She enjoys some of the activities they do on the unit, and off the unit that they get to participate in. She is also doing much better in school while she has been down there. They do get more 1:1 attentions in school.

If you're looking for a place to get clean and you're a vet, you can't ask for a better place to do so. Stellar medical attention, a staff who really cares for your welfare, and excellent living conditions. You're connected to resources in the community who will help with jobs, housing etc. It's a peaceful, safe place. Just follow the rules and you won't have any problems from the staff.

This place has the usual issues, remember when you're coming here, this is the government nothing actually works correctly or the way it should half the time. Try not to focus on that let it go worry about your purpose here. I'd say a small amount of staff you might have conflict with but 99% go out of there way to help you. Covid coming back is making it very challenging to stay focused on what you need to and not on the stuff you can't control. Remember have an open mind take what is good for you and leave the rest but remember they've been doing this some of them a long time make sure you listen with an open mind and especially the people who have been addicts they have good advice.
