A family member of mine received treatment at Riverwalk Ranch. This is the first time I was involved with the process and appreciated the education and support that Kat provided. Kat has a true passion for helping others and we are so thankful for her support. During the time at Riverwalk Ranch, our loved one attended classes and was supported by the staff, who truly seeks the best outcome for the residents, and provides them with applicable life skills in leading a life of sobriety. In planning for support after leaving Riverwalk Ranch, the staff provided information on programs/meetings that would help to support us on a daily basis. We sincerely appreciate the staff and Kat, for the time invested and the passion to help us and others, along the path to sobriety. Thank you for never giving up on us. You are appreciated!

I've been attending this facility since 2016 great OBGYN. Dr.Folashade is the best at the women's clinic. I would highly recommend her! I give 5 stars to the wonderful and caring employees who go above and beyond!!!Elisa is AMAZING and since she has been here she has made the place better. She not only does the insurance but the way she works the front desk and her multi tasking skills are on point! She really listens to people and truly cares. She loves kids & the center doesn't really have much of a space for children while you dose & she always since the beginning has made me feel safe leaving my kids with her & makes my kids feel safe! Before learning about this place; I had very limited knowledge about what programs I would be qualified for (I m a veteran) I assumed just the VA (for medical ) and I never gave it much thought past that . Finding out about the RRC has dramatically changed my life for the better; and I m profoundly grateful. Prior to going there -I had lost my job and was about to be added to the ranks of the newly homeless (Depending on how you define homeless in some people s eyes, I would ve already been there. I was staying on the floor of a gym at a church where I would clean every nightin exchange for sleeping there. I was too stubborn to go to a homeless shelter, because the one thing I had left in my life that I had no intention of leaving was my cat. Me and Cleo have been together a long time- she s my family.Fast forward almost a year. I have my own car; my own apartment (cat friendly! ) I make a little income online but also searching for a job (it s hard to maintain a job if you can t wash your clothes or have a place to stay) RRC didn t do EVERYTHING for me - But I can honestly say I would not be where I m at now without them. And although it s a government agency, I have not met a bad employee from there- My caseworker, Amanda Jones; has went out of her way numerous times to help me-These people care about their clients and they do whatever they can to help them- If you are a veteran and you need help, they should be the first people you call. You won t regret it.I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me..Thank you RRC and Especially AMANDA!!William(Former squid; GMG - USS Wabash)

The staff at MHMR were the first to listen to me and actually diagnose me based on what I was telling them. They were the first to not over-medicate me or try to sell me treatment. They listen, they care, and they are SO professional even when dealing with what the general public gives them. Dr. Skaggs undoubtedly saved my life. Not necessarily through the medication provided, but through her care of understanding my symptoms and what was causing/aggravating them. She helped me overcome problems I ve attempted to seek treatment for over 8 years, in 4 phone calls. Seems wild, but I am forever grateful and I will continue to be an actively productive citizen as they have helped me to become again, in sharing my story, helping others, and voting in local elections to ensure these services reach everyone who needs them.

At first I didn’t expect much from this place but it worked out better then I thought. The building could use some updates and the front desk staff isn’t always the most helpful, but the doctors know what they’re doing. My counselor really took the time to figure out my meds and get things on track for me. It’s not perfect but if you stick with it and show up you can get the help you need here. It’s made a real difference in how I’m feeling and my ability to be there for my kids.

I spent almost 2 months in residential treatment here and back then i believe that it was positive learning experience. every day we stayed in some type of class or group activity. attended NA and AA weekly. was taught the 12 steps. spent christmas here in 1999. new years as well. Y2K. thought all the lights were gonna go off that night. but i was still a knuckle head. smoked cigarettes in the bathroom. hid snacks in my window and was kicked out because my room mate was stiffing finger nail polish and i didnt report it. 25 years ago today there were good people that worked there. if your kids dont learn anything here its because they didnt listen or didnt care cause they give you lots of tool and info.
